A couple of months ago I made the mistake of going into a leon, n had a boxed breakfast, the whole experience was a disappointment to say the least, I’m from Northumberland but the staff were from god knows where, I couldn’t understand them, they couldn’t understand me 🤣🤣🤣 the breakfast was shite ☺️

Leon, like Pret has gone right downhill sadly. They used to do lovely little poached egg pots, perfect for grabbing on the way to the office. Nowadays, because you can only order via a screen, you can’t request that the eggs aren’t overcooked with rock hard yolks, so I’ve given up on them.
"Coffee's okay but you can't really muck up coffee" Oh I think you'll find it is VERY easy to mess up coffee lol. Espresso drinks like Lattes and cappucinos require either a very advanced and expensive automated machine to get at least okay tasting coffee, but if you don't have that then you need a trained barista to carefully measure out the grounds and they need to know how to tamp with the correct amount of pressure and at the right angle. If a grind setting is off a bit on the grinder then the coffee can taste drastically different. There are many variables that can mess up an espresso drink. It's not like making instant coffee at home.
Another great Vlog MacMaster. I can't believe they put pizza sauce on bacon & egg bap? so bad your soccer (football) fan mate had to wipe it off. I was also horrified at how old and wrinkly the mushrooms were. Fatty bacon, rubber joke shop eggs. And the price!!! This place certainly doesn't put the great back in Britain. We should have a team of motorway service station Police.. crap food, close it down, too expensive, close it down, etc you get the drift, my friends. looking forward to more vids lee, you're a legend in your own right.
More like that please Lee. Very funny. What looked the worst on that breakfast was the mushrooms. I HATE mushrooms and wouldn't eat the world's finest, but they looked especially wrong. I do occasionally cook 'em for others and even that slim experience tells me they must have been disgusting.

It is just astonishing to see so many breakfast takeaways put the beans in the same box as all the other items and not use a separate container. It's like they think we want a soggy breakfast 🤣

I'll know to avoid going there for breakfast whislt im on the road. Bet you wish you had a Mac Donalds breakfast. I love the sauasge and egg McMuffin my self. And that out take at the end was brilliant. It reminded me of the one you did at the Marco Pierre White Restaurant in Nottingham back in Oct 21. The kid going past on the skateboard. Horrendous looking breakfast, I felt sorry for you guys. You've driven for a while, and deserve a decent breakfast. I remember Little Chef, back in the day, when I was a kid. We stopped off, and were never disappointed. The breakfast you could have whatever the time of day, and it was good. I don't know where it went wrong, perhaps staff cut backs. I won't be trying the Leon products that you can get in supermarkets anytime soon that's for sure! 😂

I've eaten at slacker lane services many times. I didn't mind I at all. Because it was free. The perks of taking a coach load of passengers. I was a coach driver at the time. Happy days.
Being a chef I always thought 2 of the things you can never make really bad are scampi and chips or a English breakfast. Can't even think how they cooked that egg.🤮

Oh dear that breakfast looked awful mate. I’ll be slightly kinder and give it a 0.5/10 just because the sausage had a slight bend to it🤣. I didn’t even realise those were beans until you said it! Thought they were tinned tomatoes🤣😂. As for electric cars, I think I’ll stick to petrol for the time being lol. Thanks for another great video mate👍
I'm going to give yours a generous 2/10 (based on looks alone). Wouldn't want to eat it though. It looked edible... just. 3/10 for Tractor Boy's muffin (on looks alone). They should have put tomato sauce on it though, and not a pasta bloody sauce! Definitely give that place a swerve in future. Loved the out-take at the end with the clearner and rubbish van. 😄👍
I’ll stick with my diesel Kia until I can 1, afford an electric car (I’d want something with oomph, not a milk float) 2, the infrastructure is on the same level as fuel pumps And the “food”…… Well service station food cliché!!! 😂
Great video - can't see why chain restaurants serve this garbage. Being pedantic, Car park companies issue "charges" not "fines"... As fines can only be issued by police or government. They are legally enforceable in a civil court so please don't ignore them! Cheers Phil

2 questions from this...why did you go to Leon (which is awful) when there is a Macdonald's and the one thing that is good there is breakfast? If you stayed in Kingston why didn't you charge before you left while you were parked up? There are charging points all over the borough at the side of the road, probably the only thing that is good about the roads there!!
Hi Lee! What is it about service stations that can’t do decent food at all? Everything dried up, expensive and tasteless. But what choice do you have if you need to stop and have a break. Damien is so dry and witty. All that stress to go from A-B. Sorry I’ll stick with my diesel crossover anyday. Filled my car up last week it had done 450 miles and still had 1/4 tank left in or 100 miles to go. Expensive for me to fill up but no stress getting from A-B at least for the next 500 or so miles. Eat in these type places more fool you. 50% off what you pay is rent/rates etc before you even touch the crap they serve. Utter junk. But this type of 'food' is what so many people find acceptable. And if you pay for it, expect to see it more of it. Crap in a box with plastic cutlery.

EV cars may be cheaper than petrol / diesel but you have to spend more on food / drink in the most expensive stations on worst food ever while waiting ,think we are 10 years off having them the infrastructure is way off charge needs to take 10 mins plus how many people are going to be knocked over as you can’t hear them coming ?
Sausage looked ok rest looked over cooked . I had a Breakfast at Stansted airport services couple of weeks ago. Harry Ramsdens do a nice Breakfast pricey but ok 👍
You should maybe consider picking up a powerstation as an electric "fuel can" a lot of people now carry them in the boot as they can charge you anywhere in an emergency

Last time I got a halloumi wrap from Leon in Leeds station the spiced ketchup was that watery it was running through the foil onto the floor, all over my hand, and on my shirt. Terrible. I'm not surprised it's always empty. I bet they go bust.
Your friend looks like he doesn't necessarily want to be on the video. 😀 Me personally hate it. It makes me feel uncomfortable if someone's filming or taking photos. I do my best to avoid it.
