As promised, I am giving you the chance to WIN the Fordson Super Major. To get your tickets and enter the Prize Draw simply follow the link here: raffall.com/357977/enter-raff... The Suzuki Jimmy vid: • HOW TO TURN A TRACTOR ...
Remember this: If you buy a ticket and don't win the tractor - you've won already because you will have helped feed, bed and give a dog a safe place until they can be re-homed. Thank you 😉
What a sweetheart of a tractor. I wonder what it would cost to ship to Michigan. I don’t think you could pack it in your luggage on your next US trip. I’ll buy some tickets and go from there. Thanks for the videos.
The last thing that major needs is a new seat, My first thought when you asked was what others said "nice old sack full of straw". That was probably more original to it during it's last days work before retirement. If you put a new set of cushions on it, it'll ruin it more than the paint on the replacement engine does and then you've got to restore it, the more new bits go on. I remember my family using sacks and straw on Majors, now dads 76 he's upgraded to an old foam cushion on my north American spec blue grey 5000 major we cut grass with. I got lucky 2 weeks ago and bought another one for $1500, I knew about it for years and happened to see the owner. He said bring cash and come get it ! i got it running on the way home from work one night but haven't had time to go drive it home yet . Thanks for the video, Take care.
Old seat definitely If you get an entire working tractor for the price of a raffle ticket and then have to get a seat for it you're still quids in and there's more money for a good cause 👍 Nice one LM
I like you display of flags in the shop. Like you said, It's a very straight tractor. You did some nice editing on this one and I told my wife what your doing so I'm in! We love dogs. Done, I'm in the raffle my friend.
Great video, I was thinking the other day that it must be getting close to the time when you would be talking about finally raffling the super major off & tonight’s video is just that 😊😊😊 👍👍👍Sounds so good on the film footage, love those engines, & because the tin work is so good, it just doesn’t look out of place if it didn’t get any new paint 👍😊My vote though is for new seat cushions .Thanks for the video
Thoroughly enjoyed watching the Super Major vids, will certainly enter the comp, someone's going to enjoy this beauty and those Collie Dog's will certainly benefit :-) Great Job and Old Seat
Keep the old seat back. But put a new cushion and pre filter in the Major starter pack. Love the Majors in all their iterations. Our blacksmith taught us to drive in his Super Major, driving round the barn. Let us loose on the road with a little grey fergy he bought off of one of his horsey ladies. Aged 11 yoked up to a load of small bale barley straw. I could look over that bonnet all day still 💚👊
Just finished watching Cat vs Komatsu Dozer, I'm and old Cat guy but I was really impressed with the Komatsu. I am retired rancher here in Oregon and agree that the world confuses the hell out of me. Anyway carry on.
New seat, great that you're doing another auction. We can all help the doggos again and one of us will get a great bonus. It's lovely what you do for the rescue dogs and great that you give us all a chance to help. Thanks Mucker x
Excellent video Lord Muck :) that Ford Major tractor say low hours and new seat be nice to it ! Also thing that tractor be nice to restoration on too !
I live in a rural area and this would definitely be cool to travel to the pub in, hopefully with my wife in a cage on the trailer. Will the previous keeper listed on the V5C being "Lord Muck" exempt me from any other repercussions? Well done, the change of engine type was a bit inevitable, plenty of life in this old tractor.
Bloomfields was a Suffolk dealer but I'm fairly sure it's registered on a Hull plate, ironically I'm on holiday in Snape in Suffolk and my book on vehicle registrations is 200 miles away in East Yorkshire 😊
Wow! B rings back oooold memories, like 60 years ago. Oh yeah, ask me what happens to the differential when a log gets stuck between the clutch pedal and floor plate. Think toothless spiders. lol
Beautiful tractor and a wonderful cause. Alas, I'm in the States, leave the seat old seat can always get a nice pillow when you drive it then leave it in the shop when you get home. It's what we do with all of our tractors. Be good sir, my regards to the Collies.
@@LordMuck I appreciate that. It's probably my only option but shoot that's a really lovely straight tractor. It would be an honor to have it on the farm alongside our Minnie Mo.
Thanks Kurt..... I hope to go and see Pete Teichman at North Weald soon Ill be taking the Son of a Polish WW2 Pilot (mate of mine) do you know Pete ? He's a lovely man, true Gentlemen
He's got a gorgeous Sunbeam Tiger.... he rocked up in it the last time I met him at the hanger.... it's a 110% fit for his demeanor.... understated and WOW..... goes like a scalded cat.... 😀
My film of Pete with Pegs.... she really was his baby..... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Bg8gkd_0Qyo.htmlsi=w4oF2hkcpr5u8BzQ Shame he'd sold her....
That is one lovely old Major that in my opinion should be left original Seat included let the winner decide an apart from that saves a few extra quid for the Collies 🤔😁
It's a lovely original tractor you will be sad to see it go!! Great cause though be a fantastic tractor for someone, Bloomfield's sadly long gone a good little dealership, old seat with a bit of sack on it
Leave the tractor alone Lord Muck. Let the new owners sort it out and make it their own tractor. That's an awesome tractor and deserves to be taken care of property. Love your content and expecialy what you do to animals.
Not to detract from the glory of the Fordson, and I know it's a later innovation, but Deere really hit a home run with the foot throttle on the "New Generation" tractors...
New seat but make it so it unbolts. It's something a farmer would replace, along with an engine and tyres. Told the wife, and she has a list of jobs for it! We don't have a farm, only 0.6 acres!
