For F2P it's a nightmare because you are only competitive with gold. But when you do shoot gold it is a really nice tank

the buffs helped a lot, but sadly 200 base pen and 24x prem pen is just really really tough to pull off. especially with the gun. In general the gun is quite good and I like it, but you can have games where it trolls you like crazy and you bounce/miss 90% of the shots. Played about 50 games the last few days in it to compare it to before and yes, it CAN perform REALLY REALLY well, but 1:1 against a defender? against a 56tp? against a tier8 autoloader? nah. the armor is just not THAT great, mobility is "meh" and the prem-pen is just a MASSIVE letdown. Even 225 base pen (like is3) and 280 prem-pen would be a blessing and make this tank REALLY enjoyable. Or leave the pen and buff the mobility a bit (15% more hp/t or adjust the soft-stats so he actually gets to his top speed? would be awesome :D )

I think increasing its penetration would help a bit more due to its unreliable armor. 200? Maybe like 215 and premium to 255.

biggest problem of this vehicle is its T8. U dont wanna face BZ176, Skoda and 703 with the tank without big alpha and unreliable armor. It is maybe good enough to not be skipped with blueprints

This tank had a default that make it one of the worse of German Heavy : It give you access to the VK4502B and no one could be forgiven for such....

with hat vechile? Bz 176? I really like playing with vk 45, i have a speed build on it, and I always go for the medium flank, since now I ave the speed for that. This tank is not set for heavy-tank brawls. Some people do not see that, and act like it is still a heavy. It is not.

Its great vs Meds who have bad pen vs true HT it suck. 255 flat armor is not good and 244 on gold is kinda joke when other HT have 260-270+

I actually quite liked this tank back in 20...18 I think? That was before the introduction of the tier 10 vk. The armor was shitty BUT you could bait shots on your angled armor whyle peeking out of corners, it worked every time, I got a lot of battles above 4k damage and even a few over 6k. The combinaison of decent mobility, gun handling and armor was quite enouth for me, but I won't recommand this tank to a bad player/-2000 recent wn8, but for guys over 3k this tank is a hidden gem 😁

Hi Skill - one suggestion for index - easy of marking is misleading- full stars means easiest to mark, or opposite? Wouldn't "marking difficulty" be more intuitive?

I just finished grinding to the Pz VII and Maus, and I'll be honest that the gun is better than the VK100P, but the armor is way better on the latter. But the Tiger II is really left out since it has the weakest gun of the three, imo.

I just played this tank marked it with 89 Games with 2.2k Average damage and i will say its so bad, any tanks that has 122 caliber can overmatch your turret no matter what is the penetration their tank is, I have a IS6 enemy that penned far away from me that he always shot me on my turret Especially now on T8s you have 122mm HTs, you can't outtrade them.

my vk4502A has 30% more dmg, 17% more win rate than my vk100,01, played at the same time. vk100,01 is just worse on every aspect except the armor which is questionable because of that huge copula

When it came out it had two main problems. Gun damage wasn't that great and what I considered even worse was its poor armor. What I call soft armor. Anything penetrated it. Sorry Skill. Mine stays in garage with no crew. I see no improvement in today's WoT.

I never played the prebuffed version. IMO this tank is great… when you are top tier. Most tier 8a can slap you in the face and when you are bottom tier you are seriously at a disadvange. I would say it is sub average because yo are too dependant on MM.😢

Hi there ! This is off topic but i just want to tell you guys what happened to me yesterday with this new Patch of WOT...I have took Steel Wall in B-C 25 t in Random Battle but all the shoots that i received was Pen's, at the end of the battle had 0 Blocked Damage but anyway received Steel Wall :/. Tryed to post the Last Battle file on WOT Replays but says "Unknown file format" :/ but in my WG Luncher works just fine...This is strange for me and wondering if for anyone had this happened before? See you guys "out there" !

Oh yes. This one is very good. Very nice gun (although gold only helps MUCH), nice speed and armor that works. But skip tier IX - it's useless garbage.

@@LVArturs Tried to grind tier X using tier IX but gave up and used free exp. Awful tank, especially after very good tier VIII. Sold tier IX , did not care about Top Of The Tree discount. Ugh... terrible experience.
