For me the most hilarious item was the half wheeled bike! Why anyone would come up with such an invention, and go to all the trouble of designing and producing it, makes it all the more daft, and funny, but then I enjoy the utterly daft in comedy shows, as well as this type of real life invention. Would have liked to watch to the end (very interesting inventions) but I quit after 7 minutes because the annoying "music" was starting to destroy brain cells. Hint: your video does not need 100% sound coverage - silence is allowed between narration bites. If you must have noise, talk more, inform more, educate more, etc, etc.

Not really - people have hobbies, from which they get much pleasure and satisfaction. It's not all about making something useful, though it may give extra pleasure if it does. Take stamp collecting, train/plane spotting, model railways, sudoku, crosswords, model airplane making ... the list goes on and on - all of the "useless", but nevertheless popular. Yes, the bike in the video with the fragmented wheels might seem totally useless but the inventor has clearly worked hard to make the ride smooth and he probably learned a lot in doing so. Furthermore, sometimes something that initially appears to be totally useless turns out to be useful after all or at least, leads to something that is.
