THIS HONDA FIT MOD WENT TERRIBLY WRONG... 

So the exhaust didn’t FIT in the Honda FIT in turn having FITment issues hmmm. I’m glad they FITTed the exhaust to work lol

Many of those problems are also definitely attributed to your own modifications, also, you keep overtightening the v-bands. Stainless steel v-bands will stretch the t-bolt and the nut will snap off the t-bolt, they're all like that. You have to get them just tight enough to seal and not go ham on em.

Zosh, just reduce the size of the pipe where it's touching if the exhaust is 2 1/4" then make the section where it touches 2"

Honestly you should've just left on the stock exhaust. Putting exhaust on that Fit does absolutely nothing but make noise.

I've tried a bunch of different setups on both GDs and GEs and the best combo is a header, stock cat and midpipe, with an HKS axleback

Get the Yokana cat back and keep the header

Wrap the part that's hitting your frame with exhaust wrap. Double up on it. Should work then use metal zipties to hold it onto the exhaust. Don't wrap the whole thing just maybe 5 inches or so where it hits

The manifold I got from Ethan was perfect. Must be on the car side, something was tweaked.

Should be a partial refund like 3-400. But sometimes shit doesn't work that's life. He just had to address it and fix it.

Don’t worry. My exhaust on the TSX makes a squeaking ratting sound at idle. My muffler also melted my brand new OEM rear Lip a little bit.

Does this mean that since you undailied the daily your its going back to the daily. Also this is one of the cleanest fits out there from all of the exterior mods to the ones on the inside as well. The only LED you didnt change were the reverse lights so I would assume the turn signals and brake lights aren't LED... Needless to say it is one of the cleanest Fits on RU-vid

they could weld another hanger in that area, to keep the exhaust from vibrating, but i think u should just do a reducer and go down a size in piping in that area

lol when i say ease up on buying them shits ? no is the response , 2" into a resonator that is made to kill noise something chambered out into a 2.5" pipe all the way back ....how much is that going to cost you ? lol...

After wrapping the exhaust, smack the fuck out the frame with a hammer lol you should have clearance then😂

I hate to see this. Similar happened to me with my GD3, went to a local exhaust shop to have them do a full header back system & they did such a HACK garbage job I barely made it 1/4 block before I turned around to bitch about how many leaks there were & it was hitting in a bunch of places, sounded like yours, its horrible. I learned my lesson after getting ripped off for $700 for that garbage system they did using MY OWN SUPPLIES.... my GD3's exhaust is about $1200 if you include the cost of the header (which I got on clearance for $60).........

Run test pipe to a spintech 9000 with a lil pipe coming from the outlet I mean like 2” exit that shit will sound crisp as fuck

The exhaust should Have fit right out of the box. I would have returned it. But then taking it to a muffler shop and not having it fully fixed. That's on the shop a good shop will fix it 100%.

The price you paid was worth it! It sounds awesome! Always put mufflers on your cars 😂 Also I think something does happen with a suspension when you lower the fit. When I lowered mine my HKS hi power muffler just started having stuff hit. I no longer have that problem now that I've raised it. My other car which is a 1992 Mazda 929 has no issues with it and I've lowered it. I think it's a Honda Fit problem because of how the car was manufactured, especially in the rear. I raised my car and I no longer have any fitment issues. I don't have my unequal length header installed yet, and I have everything stock in my exhaust except for my HKS hi power muffler. I will probably buy unequal length fabrications full cat back exhaust depending on how the unequal length header fits.

Before you modified the exhaust, you should’ve hit him up before doing anything and tell him the situation and probably could’ve gotten your money back or some atleast. Now you’ve modified it , it’s not worth anything

Should've bought a Yonaka Motorsports exhaust. While not sounding as good as the one you have, it actually fits my GE and after nearly a year, I still love the sound, even when it drones while I'm climbing the mountains down here in Puerto Rico, otherwise best $600(kit+shipping+installation) I've spent on my car yet. Keep on sharing Zosh!

Damn this isn't what I was hoping to see.... I was highly considering ordering this from Ethan. I know it'd still probably contact a little bit but if you upgraded to the polyurethane exhaust hangers that'd stiffen it up some & help allot with the movement. Also, you could easily get some poly motor mounts OR at least fill your stock mounts with the polyurethane to stiffen them up, that'll help with the exhaust movement as well & help with throttle response too.
