Seriously Cabana Bay is SO SO SO SO underrated. So many fun activities and the food is actually so yummy!! We LOVE cabana Bay

That's what brings up a small downside: the cafeteria can get crowded QUICKLY. If you're taking advantage of early entry to the parks, you better make sure you set aside enough time to wait in line at the cafeteria.

The fact that you're right by Volcano Bay makes it worth it by its own honestly, but even without that it's a really cool and packed resort hotel!

Molly, the fitness center is pronounced Jack LaLane. He was a fitness guru popular from the 60's- 80's. I think most popular in the 70's. -more cute theming on the hotel's part.

And when everything turns back to normal they have free movie nights at the pool and so much fun activities. I'll never stay on Disney property ever again or they significantly need to upgrade their offerings for a better price. Universal is the new Disney for me.

We love It at universal. If you want we walk across the street from cabana to adventura/sapphire falls it is pretty quick, then we hop on the boat at sapphire falls which drops u off pretty close.

I love Cabana Bay Beach Resort. I've stayed there in 2016, 2017, and 2019 in different room types for my Universal family vacation trips. Our next trip will be in the fall and we'll be staying at Lowes Royal Pacific. I highly recommend staying at Universal hotels for family vacations. All of them have amenities and are worth the stays.

We stayed at Adventura across the street and used the Sapphire's water taxi to get to the parks so you could probably walk across the street from Cabana Bay too and use that mode of transportation!

This video was perfect timing. We will be at Cabana Bay this month. I was pleasantly surprised that the value resort has so much to offer compared to Disney’s value resorts. And $99 with pass holder discount is untouchable at Disney. I’m very excited to be a new pass holder at Universal now. I was a little hesitant still when the husband insisted we get them. Can’t wait for that lazy river. 😁

Love the variety of series on the channel! The staycation hotel tours are great for new and repeat visitors. Seems like there’s always a bunch of stuff at the hotels we miss running back and forth to the parks.

I never understood people wanting to use the cardio machines on vacation at theme parks. We walk an average of 10 miles a day. The last thing I want to do is cardio on my feet.

We were going to stay at Cabana Bay for a night but changed our plans . However, it looks great and I am glad that we at least considered it. Side note: It is pronounced "year-o" not "guy-ro". (We have a Greek festival in our town every Oct so you get used to hearing it). All in all, another great Molly video to make me excited about our future trips.

Stayed here in October and loved it. So much so that we’re going back in March for 5 nights. I’m an older fart, but even with a lot of kids here, the place has a very cool, relaxed vibe. We live in South Florida and go to Orlando every year, for the past 25 years, but it’s always a WDW moderate or value resort. Cabana Bay blew them all away in every way.

THANKS, MOLLY & ALL EARS!!! Universal's resort hotels are a better value than Disney World's, in my opinion. And having to make restaurant reservations for popular Disney restaurants SIX MONTHS IN ADVANCE makes planning a Disney vacation about as much fun for me as doing my taxes. What a pain. I love the Express Passes we get at 3 of the Universal Hotels, but if I come out for Halloween Horror Nights, I'll try Cabana Bay! Universal hired brilliant architects & designers with excellent taste!

My first time in Orlando we stayed and the endless summer resort and it was fine but not anything special. I wanted to switch it up next time and picked cabana bay because it was another value resort and was just blown away by how pretty and nice it was definitely returning for any future trips

You can also walk from Cabana Bay to Sapphire and take the boat shuttles, we do that when we go, it’s super quick and lets you clear security ahead of the park.

TOTALLY loving the retro vibe. And the lobby has a straight up 50s/60s Americana Hotel feel....the one that used to be in Miami. The bit with the trees in the middle is really similar to the one that they had.

Loved this video and seeing more on Universal Resorts! I’d love to see Molly stay at the other resorts especially Portofino Bay! You don’t hear or see much on the Universal Resorts like you do Disney Resorts. But I’d also love to see Molly stay at every resort Universal and Disney both! I’m not M and M, but I stayed there during our last trip. My group walked to the park every day....so close! And so quick to get in. We generally boated back each evening. The hotel itself was comfortable and the pool was great. Food options, eh. We ate at Citywalk most evenings. Despite being a premier hotel, we felt the perks were worth it...especially that included express pass!
