Completely agree, I mentioned it in another post, I was mostly doing the zzzzz cause I was upset about my play, then when he responded I kept doing it, I should have vocalized my frustration for the vid rather than type anything other than 'gg I suck' But I don't edit my videos, partially to be transparent even when I'm in the wrong. Thanks for watching and I'm going to keep working on my toxicity and tilting, it's my biggest downfall other than skill issues 😅

Thanks for the kind words. You will get here, just gotta keep practicing and learning the game through repetition. I learned the most watching YT videos and seeing what people did in situations.

Got me anxious on that last one lol. Saw those holes and thought, "yeah, that dude is done for," but quickly realized your boat was heading straight towards the shittiest world event in the game haha.
I was cringing each time you didn’t straighten wheel to cannon, repair your only hole so you could camp him and every time you forget to sword dash from the boats
i love this strat, but it just works so much less the more you keep playing imo. More experienced players will just chain you before can achieve anything, and by then u have slightly more pressure than them which usually just snowballs into their favour. pretty unfortunate cus this is hella fun to do.
I’ve learned that if I can get a cannon or two in their hull before they ram me they will sink every time. Just let them get distracted with the PvP try to stay alive to waste time
@@LukeBurl22 Yeah I definitely get that. If they arent willing to instantly go back to their ship after getting a kill, they will probably sink. But if you do it right, go back, bucket, maybe quick rep, then come right back, you can mitigate that as the rammer. My first fight kind of showed that, albeit there's alot I could have done better, ie touched my wheel, sword lunged to get back quicker, im sure other things too.
Sure, but the same could be said for literally any strat. Every strategy has its pros and cons, the pros of the Ram Strat are that it is extremely time efficient, and avoids long drawn out fights where people are constantly resetting and running away. As a father with a newborn, I don't have time for that, straight up. I can't no-life 1 hourglass fight for 45 minutes.
That second fight which you lost. You said the guy was being toxic but he literally said well played and you spammed ZZZZZ because you were salty. I'm not surprised he threw some salt back. Sure he wasn't the greatest player but still no need to be a salty loser.
I see where you are coming from, that makes sense. I honestly was mostly typing zzzz because I was mad at myself, i should have just vocalized it and said GG tho. We can all admit, he should have easily killed me on that harpoon board tho, like come on.

13:00 true but theres a lot you can do to avoid it. Try looking at the enemy boat at all times. when ur on wheel, just turn the mouse towrads them. I noticed in that 1st fight, the enemy notices u grab wheel (even tho u dont get balled there) u take a lot of unessacary damage just cus ur not looking. u can still turn whell while looking and imo that goes a long way to help u stay alive.
You're right! Idk what it is but I find myself moving into cannonballs sometimes? Like I see it coming in, and I start moving the opposite way of the way to dodge? Idk if it's just I'm misreading it or playing too much MLB The Show but I have to stop myself from catching cannonballs far too often 😅
@@King_Coop I'm the same haha. I (mc) default to doding to the left of my cannon where barrels are regardless of the actual cannonball most of the time. So i just kill myself by walking into it. Just being aware of the cannons coming is is hella important same with bucketing, try to time the bucket where it is after a cannon hit, so u don't accidentally backsplash cus knockback
