@@barcster2003 I mean hell even deathroll I think is pretty goated. Like the ability to hard kill a taunt in the way and potentially deal damage to face seems real good for a midrange huntrt
All of these hunter cards are amazing in Priest. Priest's own cards are also very powerful and interesting. I think this is the expansion of the Priest.
Death roll - is pretty good as long as you hit a big minion. I think you need to hit something with 5 attack or more. Priest was happy to play some bigger removals that didnt have AOE possibilites. Chatty macaw - seems good and you should know what youd get. Parrot Sanctuary - its great but you can also bank the mana because it says your next battlecry. So in theory a 3 mana discount. Furious fouls - its a decent removal and summon but i think it costs a bit too much. Sasquawk - This is defintely a great card and priest can copy this like crazy. If it copies battlecries priest defintely would want it.
Gonnna have to disagree. Priest is already greedy. They have plenty of ways to heal, so utilizing life for removal, taunts and damage is pretty good. And both the legendaries are stand alone good, while the 6 drop is just decent on its own.
@@GoldenCalamari You're right and it requires you to not play a single battlecry minion for any of them until. But I get what you mean. Still a bad investment of a deck slot.
Does “ give 2/1 to a minion wherever they are” count for a minion who youve get to summon? For example if you get an angry bird out. Buff it. Does future summoned angry birds get that buff?
Sasquawk in priest will be insane especially with that 1 mana deal 4 to both heros. 4 mana play aranna + two 1 mana deal 4 card to deal 16 damage and next turn play sasquawk for another 16 damage
@@ardaoguzhan8181 aranna needs to be and can just be played in DH, as he is tourist u can add these new priest xards to the DH Deck So with voljin, just playable in priest, u can the nee hunter cards
No. Since Shudderwock specifically repeats Battlecries. Repeating minions always just resummons them with no "Play" effects occuring (Like Battlecries, Combos, Finales etc)
Happy hearthstone is getting new cards but I’m worried about the direction the game is taking. The power of these cards look really frustrating to play against
I think its pretty good so long as you hit something with 4 attack or more at least. Honest some insta kill cards cost 4 so 1 more for damage equal to the attack seems good.
Stacking the reduction would take 4 turns, seems bad, unless there are some insane late game battlecries. Maybe it's been too long since I've played, but it looks like a worse coin to me.
@xjesh868 it says cost so you can manipulate the cost of the card. For example, if you can get it to 1, cost some cards like pet parrot like that. Also, it technically can have all three uses in a turn if you play 3 battlecry minions, so inevitably, it can be a 3 mana cheat durring a turn, which is relevant for Sasquawk and maybe some other cards. It's a good card and not just coin.
No. Repeating a minion only resummons it. It will not activate "Play" effects such as Battlecry, Combo or Finale. In addition, a copy effect like Zola (Or Power Chord: Synchronize) cannot go infinite with Sasquawk. Since, say you play a copy effect. The following turn, you play Sasquawk and you copy the Sasquawk. The turn after, playing Sasquawk will only repeat the Sasquawk you played the prior turn as you didn't play a copy effect.
I wish they made the cards weaker this set, and classes only good with the tourists. Imagine if the tourist just let you use the cards from x class for the whole expansion cycle i.e year of the Griffen, but only for this standard rotation, so when they rotate. When the tourists would rotate they could drop the power level of standard immensely because classes don't have access to the cards that would only be broken in their class anymore.
Didn't Priest just get all these spells that go face? Sasquawk just screams TTK to me. Hunter can also just play a thousand face spells and then Sasquawk next turn.
TBH the death roll card looks too AI generated. the teeth coming through the shoe without looking crushed, and lack of mass. The crocodile "fingers" look off too.
@@barcster2003 I don't think you realize value has not been an issue for Priest in years... substantive cards that proactively move the game state closer to conclusion have been though.
@@barcster2003 I understand the implications. The issue is that Priest comparatively has had very few cards to take advantage of such means.. ones that last in the meta or aren't immediately nerfed to oblivion. This would be a broken card for anything Druid does, it is simply average for Priest.
@nunayadamnbusiness well I guess we have to see how certian cards work but I'm pretty sure its good in priest. Sasquawk and pet Parrot I'm specifically looking at. For example Sasquawk power word synchronize is good 1 mana discount allows you to fit in another synchronize to play and use on the synchronized Sasquawk. So the next turn you have 2 Sasquawk and it synchronizes 2 more times. So effectively you nearly got a hand full of Sasquawk. Same thing happens for protocol but you just don't get more sasquawk but can still get Sasquawk if it's in your deck.
There is all Reno decks playable for all classes, so in 40 card decks there is a chance that card would go in.... Like the players playing really bad cards even in legend like I saw a warrior playing Boogymonster, ans some quest shamans playing elf archer for some reason... And it was in top 1000 legend in wild last month
