Good afternoon friends!!! My name is Alexander, on my channel you will see many interesting solutions for creating a tool with your own hands at home! Subscribe to the channel, it will be interesting! INSTAGRAM / master___sh
I must have been out of my mind for all these years, I've used electric sander or just sand paper to clean up rust. On behalf of millions, perhaps billions of people I thank you for this gadget.
Already from the hands marked by age and experience I realized that this project would be a masterwork. Congratulations sir, as a twenty-year-old DIY enthusiast it is really nice to see how experience leads to such mastery on powertools!
@@MA-SH You can say that in the world we live in today? You must not be American. If not then you're probably lucky. Parents of kids in America today....both have to work to keep the family clothed, fed, and a roof over their head. They don't teach respect nor do the kids learn about common decency or even common sense. All they learn is phone/computer face time, social media and how to change their gender. Welcome to America where your kids grow up to be stupid.
Nice design and impressive talent for cutting so straight with the angle grinder. If I were so handy I would add some case around it to attach a dust extraction hose to suck out all the debris and perhaps also some clear acrylic shield above to protect the user. After all the speed of the grinder is very high and even small pieces of that brush may come loose can be really dangerous.
@@MA-SH Be careful. After all it spins at 10000 rpm. So if unlucky even small pieces that get off can penetrate deep into the body. And about the dustcover for a vacuum hose - I just hate cleaning up the room from metal dust all over the place myself.
Thank you for the video. The brushing seems effective but I have a concern about the dust produced by it. It shall be used outside just to save your lungs.
Hi👋🤠; If you replace the wire wheels with metal cutting blade drums, this looks like it would make an excellent "Planer" for small dimension wood, or plastic🤔👍👍👍👍👍
Cool idea..... if we had that in the shop in the 1980s I could see my younger brother shooting iron into the wall with it.... He would coil up the 100ft extension cord and tape the trigger on the hand held belt sander and let it go bounce off the walls across the floor... he could wreck things just by looking at it :) RIP brother
When i put my comment about two weeks ago, i was being sarcastic. I hope the people who gave thumbs up understood the jest. You have a grinder and those wire buffers. Why not just use those to clean the rust?
@@MA-SH only if you do this very very often. and only with certain profiles. anyway, the video is done very well! :) did you ever launch some workpiece through the walls? i worked in tool and die shops, ive seen stuff flying across the room, through the wall! ;) disintegrating discs are even more fun!
8:24 I noticed you haven’t fabricated a bar hold in place thingy to keep material from sliding around. Or incorporate some rubber footsies for that brush thingy to soften the vibration. I mean if you were ever visited by a Chinese diplomat who came to the USA or wherever you are to reclaim a Ming vase and he sat it on that table to watch knowing from watching the video that stuff vibrated off your table. He would cause you deep regret and anguish for his 1000 year old Ming vase falling to the floor. Or however old the Ming dynasty was. Just a forethought, just a forethought
Don't make a big deal out of a molehill, it's impossible to balance a brush, you would know this if you had experience in such things, and you have experience in the antiques business, so I advise you to give advice on what you understand
If you put a spring on that bit of rebar pushing down, and a follower wheel on the arm then it will self adjust to the perfect height no matter what your stock size is. Leave the lock nut on for odd shaped stock.
