In this Sunday Afternoon Multi-App Food Delivery Ride-Along we did another Instacart Guarantee this time 5 orders for $93. Would the Instacart Guarantee be a challenge, or would Instacart give us great orders to guarantee success for us? Also would we need Doordash to help get us over the hump?

I rarely order doordash or instacart as I understand it would cost more to have someone shop for you and deliver right to your door. And I'm sorry, if you can afford to live in a million dollar house, then you can afford to PAY UP for a personalized service. If you don't think you can afford it or feel it's "too expensive", then you shouldn't expect that type of service and do it yourself. Don't expect to shortchange someone else for their TIME AND EFFORT so you can get your stuff delivered to your door for free.

Waited 20 minutes today, started driving home and immediately an order. DoorDash didn't have any, but got 2 through UE, did my first shop and pay with alcohol too!

Our market is ridiculously over saturated with drivers to the point if we get a 35-$50 Oder they want you to drive 35-50 miles. Most of our orders are $12-25 but it’s multiple if it’s over $18… Just a lil tip I do with my wife: When you accept an offer I have my wife screen shot a few pages , when we get in the store , I get my own cart and meet up when we are done, we cut the shopping time in half literally…..

Target is taking self check puts away because guests (customers) are complaining about too many self checkouts and not enough customers

I read that self check outs in some areas, theft out ways what they could pay a employee per year to check you out and also target wants to get back to "feeling more personal when you shop at target". And without self check out,it is less likely that a item will not be accidentally not scanned. " note the word accidentally ".

I have no idea how bad shoplifting in your area is, but that is a reason why some stores are phasing out self checkout.

My target started limiting items on self check out but I thought that was because the holiday season was starting. The under 10 item rule is still in place, so I hope they don't take down this option completely cuz self check out is really convenient.

I go out, sit at my hotspot, and wait 10-15 minutes. If nothing comes true, I start cursing the UE and DD gods and I go home. Fu_k that shit and wasting my valuable time. It is absolutely dead here at Disney World.

The latest I started an order was 40 minutes after acceptance. I definitely accept an order while I’m dropping off a food order if the IC order is a banger.

Sometimes those Nutpod creamers are in the shelf stable creamer aisle but I think those larger ones are always the refrigerated kind. That can get really confusing!

With the new Seattle law, it usually takes 30-45 min these days to get an order. I usually start at home (thankfully in a hotspot). Weirdly, both UE and DD sent me shopping orders after 35-45 min of waiting at the store so i wonder if both are quietly putting drivers on a wait-list since they must allow us to work whenever we want.

@@goldbrick2563 , not difficult to look it up, but OK. ;) Seattle passed the Pay Up Ordinance a couple years back to add a minimum pay rate for food and grocery delivery that's part hourly minimum and part mileage rate. Have you heard of NYC's law and CA's Prop 22? Ours got less press nationally but it's similar to that.

a fraction of $8 tip to go to Gilgo Beach 🤣 The money per mile is good but it'll easily be over 2 hours to shop for 2 deliveries, drive to Gilgo beach and have no chance to earn money on trips back to civilization. I have a feeling newbies would take this trip without realizing the time sink for this delivery...

target is not doing away with self check out they are putting limitation on it 10 Items or less , Walmart to is putting limitations on self check out they are adding pay for the privilege to self check out in areas self checkout membership I think the loic is people have a vested interest in it wil be less like to try and not pay for Items .
