Making my decision on which Box chevy I'm keeping and which one I'm getting rid of between a 1989 chevy caprice ls Brougham or 1986 chevy caprice Landau
I'm picking the two-door cuz it's not too many out there there's always 4 doors Plus has a big sunroof and I feel if you're ever going to sell the 2-door you'll get more money later on cuz you don't see too many of them so I'm picking the 2 door
When you take your Lady out for a night on the town it has to be a Coupe to set the mood a Coupe has ambiance it’s special it makes a statement that a 4 door just can’t do
Love both, but can't deny the cleanest is the '89 LS Brougham with full options. The Landau is one of my favorites, but the LS is extra clean and your favorite year w/factory window sticker!!!
Even with the Caprice Classic Brougham LS being the top of the line, honestly the 2 door Laudau coupes(especially the 1986 and 1987) are much much more rare. The 2 doors look so nice give you better ease of entry and exit since the b pillar is pushed further back giving you a bigger opening. Personally i would keep the 2 door Landau.
I'd take the 1989....Ton of these sold over in Saudi Arabia. An old lady that lived by us growing up in the late 80s got one new just like this 89....Then she had two identical. Her Mom died and left her one...she kept both of them and she died last year and one is down in the field junked the the other one is still under the car port...
I love em both. I like the sunroof,fender peak moldings, tinted windows and whitewall tires of the 2 door, but the original leather , and quarter top on the 4 door. Never was a fan of the 5.0 liter V8 engine though, it was ok, but would prefer a 5.7 or a 6.2.
Not a hard decision, I've ALWAYS loved the 4 door Caprices so that would be my choice! The 2 door Landaus were also pretty nice too in their day! I remember one of my childhood friends dad owned a beautiful 1980 Caprice Landau done in a metallic midnight blue with the partial vinyl roof! It was brand new at the time, I can still see it glistening in the sun on a warm summer day!😍My dad also owned a '79 2 door Silver Caprice with a burgundy interior! It was not a Landau but still a pretty nice attractive car in its time! He got rear ended by a drunk driver in July 1991, completely destroyed the rear end and those beautiful tail lights!
I would've made the same decision. I thought the 2dr had 20% tint 🤔? You should go 20%, it's still really light. I'm from the A and we always called them Bro Hams too. I spelled it that way for speech purposes 😏. Excited for this one 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
They are both nice, but if I had to choose I would take the 2 door Landau. This one has more appeal to it and 2 doors is always better than 4. My opinion. #32 Gang
They both need a fresh new paint but i have a 88 Brougham so I'd keep the 4dr...Not really an LS guy but love the 4dr joints now even more. The Landau is sweet as well and hard to find...
I am partial to coupes but I between these two cars I’d keep the four door. It’s in better shape and looks a bit classier. Plus the grey interior is way nicer and probably rarer than the red interior.
If I had to pick one it would be the four-door the leather the interior inside it's clean I'm not saying the two door is not clean but this four-door is perfect how about you I'll keep that one those nice clean white walls on that's my pic for you
Thats a tough call, I would take the Brougham with the FI engine. But the Landau prob has more value in the future. I think you have to flip a coin ! Great video and great cars to show us as always !
Definitely the four-door it's in better shape and you've got the window sticker that's a big big plus I'm not a big fan of four doors but the car just looks a lot cleaner from what you showed lower mileage a lot more pluses

pretty sure the two door should have a piece of trim on the back edge of the hood. it wouldve been plastic coated like the side window trim. maybe removed because it looked bad too. i replaced mine with a nicer bare stainless piece that came on a pontiac parisienne
Would prefer quad sealed beams and the 3-square tail lights, the later versions ruin the look of the car imo. If those pieces are swapped onto one of these its a tough call. But for a NICE caprice its the landau coupe for special drives. For a daily, its the 4-door, always.
