One well intendedrecommendation: put down in writing what this partnership or collaboration entails, preferably in a formal document. (Sarah already has a thriving channel, and if by any chance they decide to part ways some time in the future it would be much better for both of them to have things set straight from the beginning). We all have probably heard of many situations or parnerships that ended in a sour note… Best of wishes for both of them.

I had a Mazda/Ranger as my daily driver from when it was new in 94 up until 2007. One thing you should check is the gas tank, a crack formed and I was unable to fix it. Ended up getting a new tank for $500 (back then). Same thing happened to my neighbor's Ranger. Right before I traded it in for the Tundra, we took it to his shop and swapped tanks. Also took my rear sway bar since his didn't have one.

Don't think so. It would be a flat braided cable if it was and it wouldn't be anywhere near that gauge. That was a proper load cable with swaged ends. Probably bolts to the cab near the seatbelt mounting points, for severe head- on impacts.

Sara, definition of the "candy corn" reference at 5:13 Min on the cab fasteners. You probably know this, however for the sake of your prescribers the OEM use this a lot. It is "Anaerobic thread locker". Absence of free oxygen. -- Dri-Loc is a dry coating adhesive that contains a micro-encapsulated activator that is suspended in a water based resin. The Dri-Loc® is applied to the bolt and remains inert and dry to touch until the bolt is used.

Little tip I live in Phoenix I know how hot it gets in Arizona. When your car is parked outside before you turn it off turn the wipers on and turn off so that they're at the halfway mark. Then take your sunscreen and put it on the outside of the window not the inside holding it down with the wipers. Then your window won't get to be 140° and it will keep your car a lot cooler. It'll only get to be 120°😋and only someone that lives in the desert knows that that's a bunch. 20° is 20°😄

Former ford technician here, that orange stuff on the cab bolts and the blue stuff on the bed bolts is thread locker, not anti-seize. that's how it comes from Ford. That cable is also a ground from the cab to the frame. Also, those bolts holding the bumper, they aren't stripped. That's a Ford bracket, two studs pressed into that dogbone shape. Love the project, can't wait to see where it goes. As someone who lives and works in MA, seeing both of those Rangers as clean as they are is mind blowing

OMG! I think that proves it! That "cannon plug" as you called it on the firewall. I helped swap a door on a 99 or so Ford explorer and they literally used one of those entire barrel connectors for the door wiring connector by the hinge! It was like a 48 way connector and they used like 18 of the sockets. I was telling my friends that I think it was literally a bulkhead connector that they reused for the door because it had so many wiring connections. I was like, you could literally take an Explorer door and use this to wire a race car, hahaha. That literally looks like the same connector! I knew it must be an engine bay plug too. I couldn't believe they would use such an expensive and beefy connector for the door, hahaha. Then they were so cheap they only used 3/4 screws for the door speakers. So bizarre, Ford. Wonder if they had made tons of them and then switched bulkhead designs, but still wanted to use the connector. Sorry for the rant. I just love random vehicle info. Hope the sponsorship works out! Can't wait to see the TT.

Cool Project! I live in NM, and worked coating operations in the aero industry. We used liquidwrench and heat to break stuff loose, you already have the heat, but soak those bolts if you need to break more loose. On occasion, we worked a bolt back and forth spraying penetrant each cycle, heat seemed to help the penetrant to wick down the threads and often it was dust worked into the threads that created the issue, which the penetrant rinsed away. Hope this helps you and others, those blind holes on engines and frames seem to collect crud.
