It's honestly 90 percent of my RU-vid activity, it's addicting watching people discover music for the first time that you've been enjoying since childhood and early teens.
I can't believe this song came out in 1976. Freddie's modern/youthful voice and Queen in general are the definition of trans - generational music. Also Freddie controlled the rhythm and the flow of the music like a human Metronome. Simply stunning.
Roger Taylor, the highly talented drummer, always sang the really high notes. Oh yeah, did you know that Freddie never took voice lessons? And they were pretty much perfectionists (especially Brian May).
you were right, the high back up vocals ARE Roger Taylor (drummer). While Brian does backup here too, it's really Roger who carries most of that. & as much as this has that '80s sound, it is a song from 1976 Day At The Races Album. Queen were just so classic and yet fresh at the same time.
This concert was held on November 24th 1981,exactly 10 years Before Freddie's passing The way He delivered each song was excellent Rest in peace my idol,my fairy king And He dont have only beer on the piano, He usually Didnt drink, but prefered to warm up his voice with Honey and lemon in warm water.
Queen is Legendary and always will be..Amazing chemistry, totally focused, very harmonized, and a lot of energy. Freddie, Brian, Roger and John, best musicians by far. Don't forget Roger's backing vocals while playing the drums. Concerts are not like that today. No lip syncing whatsoever. Pure talent. ❤️🔥
Queen fan since 1973 and imo this is the most flawless live performance ever filmed, by them or anybody else. Love how you get all the nuances. And love seeing you back reacting and reuploading. Thank you!
Agree. My first concert was in 1974 (funny enough it was Rod Stewart) I'm a concert junkie to this day. I've seen so many of the greats. I can't think of one performance better than this live performance video.
Have you watched it with Roger and Brian doing commentary during the concert? Quite interesting. Easy enough to find on RU-vid. Just hit the playlist and it flows through the whole concert.
My favorite Queen song in the world - tho I have a lot of Queen favs!!! You should check out SOMEBODY TO LOVE live in Milton Keynes 1982 it’s a banger and a little different (more Freddie vocals). The energy & vibe are out of this world. 😃Personally, it’s my favorite version. That’s why the Milton Keynes concert is referred to as “Queen on Fire” 🔥 Thanks for the re-upload.
The studio version of this song really has some great harmonies. It sounds different but it is excellent as well. Check it out, Roger and Brian really smash the vocal harmonies.
This song put a smile on my face what queen was about. The live aid concert put a tear in my eyes knew what he was going through with his brothers was there for the Freddie mercury tribute at Wembley an amazing day, Freddie was a showman with dad dance moves, there will never be another Freddie x
In my opinion they sounded better live than on the album. I saw them on this tour in Madison Square Garden, September 1980. Same song set, same energy, amazing show! If you want some other songs to react to...here goes: March of the Blaxk Queen/Funny How Love Is (They're paired together on the Queen II album and you miss out not doing both), Save Me, Now I'm Here, Spread Your Wings, '39, I'm in Love with my Car, It's Late to start with.
Please watch "In The Lap of the Gods - revisited" live at Hammersmith 1975, or "In the Lap of the Gods" live at the Rainbow 1974 - it's 2 completely different songs, but both are very beautiful.
I LOVE seeing your reaction to just how good Freddie was. And in a lot of the cases he wasn’t even really trying that hard. He was JUST. THAT. GOOD. As much as I love seeing and hearing Freddie, your reaction is just the icing on the cake! “Freddie Mercury….what you doing??” Love it!
Love your reaction to this one ❤️❤️ thank you for re uploading xx please react to the official video for Rock It (Prime Jive) you will love Rogers voice xx
Freddie Mercery was so unike he was simpley the best performer and singer of all time missed him. All of Queen memmbers is so talented men they are simpley the best band of all time. My greatings from norway
Did you ever do “A Winter’s Tale”? Kinda Christmasy...also “Thank God It’s Christmas” is sweet - no live version of either, though. Thanks for redoing these! 🔥🎶❤️
This is probably my favorite live performance, Freddie amazing as always ❤ I watched your reaction months ago but never commented , I love all your reactions ❤
Love this live one. Great to see your journey from not knowing the band members names to being able to pick out who is singing in the harmonies. Great that you're so old school with handwritten lists & slipping in the word nonchalantly 🤣🤣🤣
Hello again. Love your feel for music. Try fairy queen from their first album.... its all there Freddies voice, of course Roger as well. Terrific musicianship. Great melody and all the queen changes we love. Try the lyric version
You are fast becoming my favourite channel for Queen reactions! You pick up all the little details & your animated pure joy with my all time favourite Queen song was so great to see! Pls react to Roger’s “I’m in love with my car” It really showcases Roger’s fantastic singing voice! In any other band he would have been the lead singer but thank God he stayed with Queen! Thank you, more Queen pls! Kind regards & appreciation from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
You just earned a new subscriber! Love the passion for the music and know exactly when greatness is met. I highly recommend “White Queen” live at The Odeon, Hammersmith. That’s one of my absolute favorite live performances ever. It’s a stunner! I promise. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤩

GOD ALL THEIR SONGS ARE THE GREATEST DAMN ITS ALL MOST IMPOSSIBLE TO PICK ONE FAVORITE ONE ARE YOU SERIOUS FOR REAL LOL
Fairy Fellers Masterstroke! Freddy wrote it; from Queen II album, about a painting that Freddie was obsessed about by Richard Dadd which is almost as amazing as the song!
Freddie wrote this one.......Freddie wrote " Crazy Little thing CalledLove! ". Freddie knew 3 chords on the guitar! He wrote Crazy !little Thing CalledLove" in 15 minutes....tribute to Elvis!
Love to hear reactions to Killer Queen, Another One Bites the Dust, Love of My Life. Not many out there. There such good songs. Miss Freddie, always will. Queen genius band.
Roger Taylor on drums has his microphone to sing into on the left, so as he drums, he has to turn his head and neck sideways and it's hard, hard to sing that way. Freddie sings into a microphone straight on...Roger twists left and sings perfectly ! Bravo Roger and I think he's a phenomenal drummer as well.
