Last September I spent 18 days in Zimbabwe. Lion hunting, 10 nights in a blind. All 10 nights we had a big male lion at the bait. But he obviously been shot at before. When light came on he was gone before I could shoot. Tried different colored lights too. No good. I got to watch him in ph's night vision goggles. Times he was only 20 yds away. What a hunt, hunt of a lifetime. Never forget, I figure I got my lion, just didn't shoot him.

Having hunted lions on foot,unsuccessfully, I might add, shooting them from a baited hide is a turkey shoot.

Like your show. I use swift scirocco bullets for hunting white tail deer in the states. Great bullets. Gary reminds me of my dad. My dad couldn’t hear either. Congratulations on your hunt.

Are there rules about lion age in Zambia & Zimbabwe? I know in Tanzania, it's 6 or older and hunters generally prefer to take them older than not as it's the least likely to mess with pride dynamics.

I still don't get why they are hunting the animals. We should be conserving them instead of making them extinct 🤔🤔🤔

This particular lion, what was done with it? Has the skin been removed? turned into a rug? have photo?

Makes my blood boil, the lion population is declining worldwide, and these majestic animal will be extinct in the near future, and we have people killing them for fun! Even if it's a problem to the locals, why not capture and relocate it?

Let’s not take out lions pride of Africa especially in Zambia if you guys are running out of lions in SA that’s your fault

BILL HOBER from swift bullets is as much fun too talk to as getting your balls smashed , great bullets the a frame , the scirocco 2 sucks , because they will not shoot well in most rifles . go on the the net and see for yourself . ive got lots of them and they are hard to get be accurate.

Add saturation on this makes it frustrating to watch. I enjoy hunting but this kind of turkey shoot hunting of a key stone preditor like a male lion is wrong. If you're going to hunt lion stalk it out in the bush not from a hide like a poacher.
