As a wandered fan who felt like all clubs exept our were stand against the ffa and the shitshow of the league it has been now I feel like the glory days are not that long away from us ❤
2022/23! Wow!!! A Fantastic A-League Season! Plenty of Goals and Passion! Hopefully in the next season onwards, The F3 Derby can get back to these Levels!!!
I went to that game and that was probs one of the best sport games that I went in my life, it’s right on par to the Asian cup final of 2018 or something at stadium Australia…. And the India vs Pakistan cricket game at the MCG last year…. I been to a fair chunk of nrl, a league, afl and cricket games….. but nothing come close to this… But I wished this game was actually sold out…
I’m real upset they gate keep this league behind another streaming service. Man I followed this league for years. Haven’t watched a game since it went to Paramount. Rip my love of Aussie football
As a non-soccer man, this Eli Mengem needs to be cherished. His overseas content has been unreal and now the A-League need to lock him up in a contract and throw away the key
Attended five A-league games in the first two weeks including Sydney v Victory. Still an enigma. Good to see the ultras in some regards but it does feel a bit more volatile than some elsewhere. Some decent stadiums and kits but infrastructure poor. Some clubs like phoenix never reply to genuine queries sent via email seems really poor in that regard..🙄
@Channel Name It’s still cringe, something they seem to not be able to shake off. Hearing and seeing Australians chant just sounds natural, in the US it doesnt.
@@swansbear Having a random guy chop a tree in half behind a goal isn’t my definition of having a deep rooted fan culture, its gimmicky which a lot of MLS is
@Channel Name When it comes to a clubs matchday fan culture, yeah the US is different and always will be different. Which is probably why they’ll never seem authentic.
Also the situation at Perth glory a joke. Booked my flights and accommodation but apparently they only got told three weeks before the season was due to start they couldn't play at the HBF for ten games. Can't think of anywhere else in the world that would be allowed to happen 🤬🤬
This isn’t Australian football. This is just “association football in Australia”, or as a lot of Aussies generally call it “soccer.” Actual Australian football is this: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_rules_football
@@BrisbaneBroncosfan67 it is soccer in Australia, I don’t know many people at all who call it football here. And technically the other sport where they use their hands is called “Australian Rules Football”, and most of the delivering and scoring is done via foot in that game.
The reality is that this game was boring af. It literally put me and my friend to sleep. Until A league actually attracts talent and we stop playing Scottish style football everything will just be hype. Throw in the 16 year old wannabe ultras behind the goals and it just gets worse. Even the NBL which is a pretty disorganised league is starting to get really good. Why? Because they focus on the sport first. A league trys to create a brand solely based on the hope football will be the number one sport and the fans have been telling that it will take over every year for 10 years. Joke league
@@caylebmladenovic3348 south Melbourne vs Melbourne knights is better than both of them put together your clubs have no history. Just a fake franchise owned by clowns
