The unquenchable fire is the fire of the Holy Spirit. The lake of fire is the refiners fire, to purge out sin. Roman’s says all will be saved. Translations are bad giving the hellfire crowd a stick to beat sinners. God is good

You said: "Many churches are not teaching biblical salvation." IMHO the ones that are, and using that "biblical salvation" as a means to get to their real end. Money and power. The standard today of a "successful ministry" is completely determined by increasing money and increasing membership.
@@user-ky2xo2ls4m The standard I mentioned before successful ministry=more money and more memberships is being taught in nearly all Bible colleges and seminaries as THE standard for ministry, That is what "Purpose Driven Church" is all about; marketing and selling the Gospel.

Acceptance ( or not ) of the article and what it represents once familiar is the issue. After consideration, many find reason not to accept what is asserted. Particularly the claims made by Ken Ham's ministry. Education does that.
Lol the school is litterally brainwashing They teach people to be perfect citizen obeying all stupid law and having a blind faith to the government and laws But we can see the World is not getting better so the cause of all this mess is not the laws getting ignored but the heart of Man because all evil come from it
Amen, however it's more about proving or disproving rather than be in agreement or disagreement. We are always pushing for what is true, good and beautiful.
Oregon Is one of the most un churched states in the United States and today it is hard to get people in church but the Bible said Hebrews 10:25 “Forsake not the assembling of yourselves together even more so as we see the day coming “ !
What I see as a problem with the church is if you don't belong to the in crowd, you will be lucky to get visited with or followed up with when you can't make it to church. Most churches have a core group that will make it very difficult to make it feel welcoming.
The sin may not be so much with those who aren't getting involved with the church as with those who are already there and in control. In church as well as everywhere we spend significant time, people want to feel they belong and can be useful. The church labels us and rejects our skills and talents. We go where we can serve.
Church attendance does not necessarily reflect fewer numbers of believers. In fact, numbers of believers may actually be increasing. This whole thing is a misnomer. Going to church never meant you were a true Christian…ever.
Teaching young people to take Genesis literally and reject observational science is what is causing thinking individuals to leave fundamental evangelicalism.
“Observational Science”…..True science is much more than “observation.” Your observation seems to be man’s theory about how things “might” have happened apart from God”s explanation of how it “did” happen. Any “real” science will also require you to be able to reproduce and “prove” your theories before they can be accepted as having any validity. Repeating something someone else has said (no matter how many times) does not make it true (real science). I “observe” you are not being true to “science!”
Many people are leaving the church because scripture isn't being preached. I left 15 years ago and I believe every word in scripture. The Holy Spirit instructs and corrects me. I don't need a man who went through 8 years of doctrinal re-education to pigion hole me into half an answer.
Problem is, Genesis is NOT history and you 'beleiving' that it is does not actually change the facts - insisting that others dump their brains in favour of blind obedience is one of the problems, not the solution.
I understand your point very much but there are good solid Bible believing churches out there! Keep looking. Ask for guidance. My pastor did not go to bible college but is truly filled and led by the Spirit. I’m very grateful.

Wow! Awesome awesome!! I really enjoyed this thank you!!! KING OF KINGS & LORD OF LORDS!! During these times and seasons wear the breastplate of faith and love and as a helmet the hope for salvation! When these things begin to take place, lift your heads for your redemption is drawing near.
I told my son when he went to college (Western Michigan), to join a Christian group. He found one with only 11 students out of a school of 18,000. No denominations have any services now for students because of almost zero attendance. I then told him to get the group to recruit students. In 3 years, they are now up to only 18. I figured a mechanical engineering student should easily find a Christian girl to date.He told me there aren't any!
Sad; but this is getting more and more common now. When a young woman gets the idea that she can kill her baby :in and out of the womb. What makes a young Christian man think that he can co to a marxist College , and find a suitable young woman? We are in the last days before his return. Are you ready? You can be: John 03:16-17
@@Thirdday71906 It's the Christian's fault for having so few children. The absolute mathematical minimum is 3 children per woman. Instead most will seek financial greed instead of 'being fruitful and multiplying'. They use contraception because women (not just Christian women) would rather get a job and chase money for that overseas holiday and the latest iphone than to sacrifice to have more children and have them earlier in their 20's. This is all backed up by the university research (e.g. Canada's University of British Columbia) and worldwide census data. No-one else to blame but yourselves.
although i agree with some of ken's ideas. again i say that salvation is by faith through grace in Jesus Christ alone. therefore salvation is a gift. our works don't save anyone. we are commissioned to teach the gospel, but salvation is through the Holy Spirit. church attendance does not mean those people are saved in the first place. i do agree strongly with ken's reliance on scripture as the foundation of our faith.
There's no accountability from the top down in the church. Leadership is gone. Too much concern for not looking good. Fake smiles, men who are buddies without iron sharpening iron. Women who are ready to judge and point.
It's just another reason why traditional Christianity is a false religion: it doesn't have God's government. In a religion with God's government, there is ALWAYS accountability at the top because the leader has to answer directly to God when they go astray or fail to do what God required of them. Protestants lack good leadership because they don't want anyone to rule over them, especially God.
Hopefully we can accelerate the secularization of America and save democracy. Christians are fighting against democracy, and the sooner the more secular elements of our society wrestle power away from the theocrats, the safer democracy and the future of America will be. These days so much of what is in the news is bad stuff, but it is nice to see Ham delivering a positive message about America becoming less christian, more moral, less discriminatory, less biblical and more willing to embrace democracy and human rights.
To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize. Who are you not allowed to criticize today? Today in the West, it is the sacred minorities who are exploited by Progressivism to attack our free Christian civilization. The religion of Progressivism is demanding to control us, using Shibboleth manipulated words (especially those ending in - phobia) to stop people questioning, stop people thinking, outside the Left's religious dogma. Ironically, America is becoming less secular as Christianity is pushed aside, and more a theocracy of the dishonest Leftist religion of Progressivism.
First time I have heard you or even about you Mr. Ham! Very refreshing and incredibly insightful! The first five books are the law of God and the laws of God! As you say they are foundational and your teaching of the breaking of the first 11 chapters in Genesis is quite perfect sir!! Blessings in Him, Dave
It’s an interesting observation that when God gave the commandment to eat from every tree except the tree of good and evil, that Eve had not been created yet. So, her knowledge of this commandment must have been transmitted through Adam, who may have accurately quoted it to Eve or may have embellished it as Eve quoted it. The Serpent’s question therefore is a logical question “Did God say?” She didn’t know because Adam told her. The commandment was never written down, so the original was essentially lost to Eve and perhaps to Adam. Adam may have realized he quoted it wrong to Eve and felt responsible for her disobedience and then followed Eve in her sin. The Serpent asked a logical question. The world today continues to ask logical questions, hence the reason for Christians to continuously refer to the written Word of God. But we also have God’s General Revelation through the natural world, so Christians should be very well versed in the evidence that nature presents for the Flood and Creation. Thanks be to the Lord Jesus for Ken Ham adding in all of God’s Revelation in to this discussion.
Well we don’t know whether Eve was told about the tree so it is dangerous to assume she wasn’t told and that Adam told her. Just being helpful not hurtful because you could go down a long road with that thinking without proof.
Nope. you are looking at this wrong. the correct question is why did God put a tree in the garden when he knew they would eat the fruit? THAT is the question. He tempted them openly. He created the tree and put it there intentionally. So either He didn't know if they would eat the fruit and therefore is not all knowing or He did it to tempt them to fall, meaning He is NOT all good. THAT tells you right there all you need to know.
The current church fails to offer what God was giving us - which is grace. It failed to tell us or model for us that God does not love us because we are good but God helps us to be good because He loves us. Lewis compared grace to the sun over a greenhouse. Just as the roof of a greenhouse does not attract the sun because it is bright, it becomes bright because the sun shines on it. A recurrent and yet unspoken theme here is the rigor and rigidity demanded to sustain love that most people crave and that very few find. We see repeatedly in these rituals how harsh demands leave folks vulnerable to conditional love that requires religious demands of imperfect humans. What about God’s Grace? What about our amazing gift of God as love at creation? What about the tangible reality of agape love deep within us all. What if we rest in the divine gift of a God who does not love us because we are good but God helps us to be good because He loves us. This has less to do with religion and more to do with relationship of a God who IS LOVE! That is the message that should permeate church if we want folks to come back.
Wow listening to you is what I have heard in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church all my life. You and retired professor Walter Veith could have such a wonderful conversation (retired zoologist). Wonderful message as usual❤ Personally, I don't believe it's about people not going to Church. Churches are businessess and cause division because different speakers have different understandings of the Bible, especially Prophesies. I believe it's because people stopped reading the Bible and turn to their devices to find favorite groups and speakers to hang with and learn from. I also believe it begins at home and school! @newsgetsold absolutely there is, spreading the Gospel and the signs of His soon return is the most important, to the non-believing and uneducated on the Gospel. It is also most important to stay in the Bible, read, pray for understanding, trust the Holy Spirit to give that understanding, not a man behind the pulpit or camera. Gather together to sing praises and hymns and encourage one another to stay righteous and loving one another and rejoicing in His soon Return 💃🙏❤️ #OnlyJesusSaves ✝️
@francismarion6400 I am sad to hear that, truly. If you are not completely content and at peace, and feel that close bond and love with Jesus our Salvation, our One and only True Love and Friend, not needing to find that from groups and individuals, you need to spend more alone time with the Lord. Be in His Word and in prayer continually. The Bible teaches that the Church is the Body of Christ, Christ being the Head. Each one of us who are true Believers and Followers of Christ are made a part of the Body, the "Church". Imagine the number of True Followers today and how full the "Church" is, how full the "Body" of Christ is (though our mission is to make it fuller still). Don't think of this teaching as physical brick-and-mortar churches being the "Body" of Christ. Followers are the Church, the Body. It used to be fulfilling going to church to fellowship back in the days they weren't marketplace businesses, back when reading aloud the Word of God all gathered together (not one man behind a pulpit or stand pushing his own understanding on those who don't bother to read the Bible), singing, lunches, charity events, Christmas caroling, etc...but sadly those days have BEEN gone, and today it's people sitting in front of their favorite funny or empathetic speaker for an hour, watching the money plate pass before their faces, quiet faces and mouths, quiet singing, more like a funeral with merchandise for sale and donation bowls in your face, books tshirts mugs dvds for sale in the lobby or on websites, rather than an uplifting, enjoyable and fulfilling fellowship experience. I miss the good 'ole fellowship days. I pray the Holy Spirit has guided this today to you 🙏 Much love and prayers for blessings, continued faith, strength, and courage in these last days 💃✝️❤️☁️

I hope you can forgive whoever has hurt you.
People are leaving the church(es) because they see the utter artificiality of religion. They see that it is really used as a coercion/control method and a cash cow for greedy pastors. Since not a single religious person has ever shown that a god exists, the thinking public is starting to say that our future is in our hands and we must do the best we can to make it the best possible.
I think you exaggerate as Dawkins described main line churches as being benign. A few greedy preachers would not belong to mainline churches as they would have no individual control over money recieved. Those few who do such things merely do what any athiest would do.
The problem with the Church is it seems that no one is studying the Bible on a daily basis. In this study you will find the instruction that worship is to be done in PRIVATE houses!!!!
I grew up in the 90s, thankfully homeschooled= self- taught I knew instinctively that evolution was a challenge to my faith and my main source of doubt (not Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism etc!). So I studied hard and realized that scientifically evolution doesn't work, and I am free to fully believe the Bible! And that is liberating
When I was a young woman working for the college I went to in California, I worked at a Christian camp and was told to help a girl that was scared of a demond she had asked to help her fight someone, but she was worried because it talked to her and wouldn't leave her alone. I was confused at first why I was told to help her the next day, so I prayed and read the Bible and asked "what should I say?" God told me to read the Bible and that that demond would not hurt me. I was feeling very strong and mad at the Devil when I met her before breakfast. She told me what the demond said about me and that it would kill me. I laughed and said, "i don't care if it kills me because I will be with my favorite person - JESUS!!" LOL I thought, wjat a dumb demond, that's all it has? So I started reading the same that Ken read- the beginning, it made the demond mad! I didn't care, I told her to tell it to go away in Jesus name, because she was a young Christian and if she invited it she could tell it to go. So she did and it left her alone. I told her- you are God's not Satan's now. Don't talk to demonds now talk to God and Jesus, God loves you and will forgive you for being mean to others, just ask. She was so releaved and kept telling me the Demond was gone and was smiling a lot!

@@truthgiver8286 I do understand your problem with modern day “Christianity” as a whole, but consider this…sibling rivalry does not mean their parent(s) don’t exist. Contention amongst siblings begins with jealousy, which is another way to say that they desire to glorify self over others. As the rivalry intensifies, they manufacture “reasons” to hate one another that previously didn’t exist. It doesn’t take long before “being right” is more important than what started the argument in the first place! Many (if not most) of those “denominations” left behind any desire to worship and follow the God of the Bible for becoming their own god by declaring “new truth” that only they are privy to. A reading of the Gospel of John will show that Jesus accumulated many followers at the beginning of His earthly ministry (due to the miracles He performed), but they soon stopped following Him, as He did not present “their” view of religion. And Scripture tells us that this was to show that they were never true believers. Just because there are counterfeiters does not suggest there was never a real thing being counterfeited. Quite the opposite. Why would criminals attempt to counterfeit 20 dollar bills if they never existed? And there have been many attempts at counterfeiting…with varying degrees of success. And consider all the other world religions. All attempting to explain our existence-even evolution, which is a religion. You think all evolutionists agree? Evolution has more detours and pathways than Christianity ever thought of. Of course, Darwin is usually heralded as the “chief god” with his “Origin of the Species” bible. In it, he stated that if any “irreducible complexity” could be found, his theory would fall apart? Check out the many irreducible complex parts of the human cell discovered by modern science. Not only are there many parts of the cell that could have never come into existence without just one component present at the beginning, but now scientists admit that even the possibility of finding one strand of DNA “accidentally” composing one positive computation is less than finding a single atom in a trillion galaxies. So, what are you left with? If the true God did not create this world and its life forms, then I guess we have to go back to the other god-the Big Bang. By the way, that theory was developed by a Roman Catholic priest (look it up). So I guess you are really a Roman Catholic. At one point in time there was “nothing.” And although nothing did not have a “place” to exist, it all randomly decided to suddenly rush together. And there was so much energy in nothing that it exploded into everything. And not only did nothing create “everything,” but it created space for it to continually expand into! And “Nothing” had the power to not only “create” everything, it also had the power to magically transform inorganic matter into living cells, coded with the ability to morph into more and more complex life forms. Although actual “observable” science demonstrates that any true mutational processes (such as adding even one chromosome) creates difficulties-not improvements. Evolution (or any other man-made process) leaves us empty of purpose. No reason for existing. No moral basis for how we live or how we treat others. No point to life, as death ends it all, anyway. Why, if slime had the ability (or was “programmed”) to evolve into human life form, did it stop and leave us at the point of literally destroying ourselves? But what does it matter? Maybe the nothing that became everything will one day self-destruct and become nothing again. And then maybe……..
In 1559, it became compulsory to attend Church services. Anyone not attending would be fined a shilling per week (in England). That explains why Church services were so popular.

The foundation of the Gospel is plainly stated in 1 Cor. 3:10,11. Also in 1 Cor. 10:1-4 referring to the OT. Unless you want "grist for your mill", there is no conflict between a means of understand physical things in the world around us, (ie. the scientific method) and the Bible. Today we live in a time where hearts have grown cold. Cold hearts are crying out for Christ, the cornerstone. Not a war between Christians' OT interpretive methodologies or textual genre classifications.

This sermon is great for making Ham's groupies feel "special"----as if they are the only "true" Christians. Many of the comments are self-congratulatory as they proudly communicate that the writer thinks they show mastery of the Bible, and have knowledge of what people "should" believe. One would think that a powerful god could produce a "holy book" that is clear, unambiguous, and not subject to interpretation.
The Bible is surely clear with no hidden meaning otherwise, did you see Dr. Ham fish out a book of interpretation? But anyway, assuming that the Bible was as clear as you would like it to be, you would definitely find fault. Why do I say this, God understands the need for teaching and that is why He uses people like Ham and teachers of the Word. Yet, despite this, you still find fault because your aim from the beginning was to actually find fault. But your need to use "true Christians" baffles me. Making me believe that what you really want is to justify your ways. In which case, you need not use so many words. Just do whatever, Whatever floats your ship.

I’m older and have traveled extensively in the U S and Europe and South America. I’ve witnessed the loss of members and drop in church attendance. In Brazil, the fastest-growing “?religion” is TV Evangelism
It is deceptive to include the colonial era (before 1776) in the church attendance statistics because during that time churches were established by the governments and universal Sunday attendance was mandated by law in most of the American colonies. In most towns in colonial New England, the church was also the town hall and the seat of government. Churches didn’t get disestablished until 1791 with the ratification of the first amendment to the US constitution. The successors to these New England town churches were the Unitarian-Universalist and Congregationalist denominations of today. These denominations still own the historic church properties in most of the New England town centers. The latter (UCC) are arguably the most liberal of American Christian denominations and the U-U’s are no longer even Christian at all. This should be a big clue as to how doctrinally sound the colonial forced-attendance churches were.
St. Paul's teaching has been set aside along with silent reverance. Communion of the Holy Eucharist has been casualized! It's like a clubhouse where Jesus sits in the corner and is ignored. Then they wonder why their parishes are dwindling! It is heartbreaking.
