Hello from Phoenix Arizona US! I really enjoy watching you! Great content, I wasn’t born in Africa but Africa was born in me, Congolese & Nigerian both parents! Thank you for the educational information you share! Many Blessings to you ❤!
I understand you. She is looking at the big picture in this colonialism we live. If she or anyone speaks about Congo or any African issues now, saddly it won't get people engaged. She is railing about causes that may bring this power down. Then we can cure once for all Africa ills. That is my opinion.
12 February 2024 South Africa contributes troops to SADC mission to the DRC In fulfilling South Africa’s international obligation towards the Southern African Development Community (SADC) mission to support the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), President Cyril Ramaphosa ordered the employment of 2900 members of the South African National Defence Force to assist in the fight against illegal armed groups in the Eastern DRC. The employment will cover the period from 15 December 2023 to 15 December 2024 and it was authorised in accordance with the provisions of section 201(2) (c) of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa. The budgeted expenditure to be incurred for the employment amounts to just over R2 billion. This expenditure will not impact provisions for the defence force’s regular maintenance and emergency repairs. The obligation to contribute troops to the SADC mission in the DRC is borne by all SADC Member States.
South Africa extends troop deployment in DR Congo, Mozambique. South African army will remain in Mozambique to help government fight against violent extremism and in DR Congo to fight rebels, says President Cyril Ramaphosa South Africa has extended the deployment of its troops in the conflict-hit Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and northern Mozambique, the presidency said. In a statement released on Wednesday evening, President Cyril Ramaphosa said he had informed the National Assembly of the extension of the deployment of the South African National Defense Force (SANDF) under various international obligations. He said 1,198 SANDF personnel would remain in the DR Congo as part of the UN peacekeeping force, helping the Congolese government to fight various illegal armed groups wreaking havoc on communities there. Ramaphosa said 1,495 South African troops would remain in Mozambique to help the government fight against violent extremism in the northern region. “Members of the SANDF employed will continue with their responsibilities of combating acts of terrorism and violent extremism, over the period 16 April 2024 to 31 December 2024 at the expenditure estimate” of 984.3 million South African rand ($51.8 million), he said. Northern Mozambique, especially the Cabo Delgado province, has been restive for years, with one armed militant group there believed to be affiliated with the Daesh/ISIS terrorist group. Over 1 million people have been displaced from their homes as a result of the insurgency there and hundreds killed since 2017. Ramaphosa said South African troops will help combat acts of terrorism and violent extremists affecting the northern areas of Mozambique under Operation VIKELA. The northern province of Mozambique is rich in natural gas, and companies such as France’s Total SE plans to resume construction on its giant liquefied natural gas project in the country by the middle of 2024. South African troops have been in Mozambique since 2021 and in the DR Congo since early this year.
After all the talking Africa has to become a continent of non beggars. We have to do for ourselves because no one is going to help us for free.. We have built up all the other nations without really helping ourselves. We continue to allow colonizers to ride on our backs to this very moment. Our African organizations are not even controlled by Africans.
🤔 Outside of Antarctica, Africa has the most pure rich soil on the planet. The best thing to come from a 3rd world war, is Africa will be positively affected to achieve a better world for many nations.
To belong to an organization as second class member where the top members have a veto and not a single African country has the veto is very foolish at best, Africa needs to exit the UN and stop foreign control of African affairs through the UN. Changes in the UN won't cut unless a new organisation is created in which Africans have equal participation and that includes funding cause Africa if left alone can generate an economy capable of self sufficiency and have a surplus.
First, TAKE Africa's money out of American and European Banks ASAP! Africa should trade among themselves (55) African Nations. Africa does not need other nations. Keep the money and wealth at home in Africa! Whatever products are LEFT OVER, then sell to foreigners. BAN all mining of minerals. Africa will NEED these mineral to BUILD Africa, but they will be GONE.
There is nothing sustainable about development. When you look at the developed countries, their actions are antithesis, what you call sustainable.Development requires you to till the land and use it don't be foolish to think we can keep being beggars😢
One thing. SA did not have to suffer during Covid pandemic. You have the best Dr in Shankara Chetty. The rest of the world is now following the protocol he saved thousands with, without vaccine. SA stop setting your achievement based on what’s done in the West! STOP IT!!! You are creators! Create new ways to travel. Cmon!!!
Maybe an attempt to curb the over-exploitation, by the big c o m p a n i e s from the w e s t, as is what happens with countries of the g l o b a l south. Nobody seem to know what happened to SAf's gold; historically the 3rd biggest natural gold reserves in the world. Gold costs more than oil, so in comparison to the oil countries, why are SAfs poor? Why are kids without meals and shoes?
I'm Who? Those country gotvtgeur independence many many many years before SA did. There is no occupier in those countries, tgey are sovereign stars. There are no foreign land invaders killing the Congolese or the Sudanese. It is Congolese killing Congolese, it is the Sudanese killing the Sudanese. May be you should ask those people to rise against powerful corrupt forces within those countries to destroy their countries and plunder the wealth. SA is the only country that tries on its own to help Congo and the conflicts and killings but failed, AU failed; UN failed. Only Congolese and Sudanese people can end the killings and plundering of their wealth. Even the AU or UN forces can just go in and watch they can't fight ; which side would they take because both side are Congolese and Sudanese. People of those countries need to rise up just like Niger and Burkina Faso and take their countries back from corrupt puppets. Why do you want to make it the responsibility of SA to end corruption in Congo and Sudan?
Honest question. Has she made any comments about the Ukrainian civilians? If she has then I can believe that her concern for all innocent people in war is real.
Anc was supposed to talk bout congo and how they are going to end war in congo as african..That video of mother of child died in front of her child is so painful..people are dying everyday in congo is worried

Why us it SUPPOSED?. Why are the Congolese not supposed to kill one another. Congolese is a free country that got independence long long before SA. SA alone tried to help mediate and failed, the UN failed to bring peace, the AU failed to be I g peace. Only cong9lese can end the war in Congo by rising against the powerful corrupt forces that work with foreign forces to keep co go I a state of chaos wh8kst it's wealth is plundered. Only congolese people remove the puppets and ask outs in their country just like Niger did and Burkina Faso did. SA has a right to carry out its international obligations as it sees fit including fighting for justice. People must stop the nonsense of making it SA responsibility of SA to end civil wars in Africa that are a result of corruption in those countries. Stop comparing oranges and bananas. 9Palestinians ate people that are under occupation if a brutal foreign forces, Congo and Sudan are sovereign stated ruled by brutal corrupt forces. It is Congolese killing Congolese, tgey need rev9lutiins those countries.
