Ezuri’s predation is perfect for Kudo You just need a small anthem effect for your creatures and you instantly kill everything your opponents control and make a ton of tokens

Wizards makes agreements with content creators to spoil cards, so I am thinking that many of the cards they aren’t able to confirm because they are someone’s preview card. Content creators work hard on their previews, it’s sad that people ruin them with leaks.

It mentions them in reminder text and isn't an all inclusive list, see Atraxa Grand Unifier and kindred spells. It will still work for future land types as the listed land types on it are not in rules text.

Cathonion Nightmare... yeah. That's one hell of a nightmare to play against. A recurring graveyard cheat, that can atleast get a 3 mana creature out for 2 Mana + a sacrifice... If you got energy from another source it would be easy to get big chunkers onto the battlefield with some mill effects.

I'm surprised Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite wasn't mentioned when it came to Kubo since that turns it into a one sided board wipe/ soft lock. i guess it could be seen as a little frustrating to be on the reserving end of it.

Does planar nexus count as all the land types in deck? Like can I search it with a card that gets a basic land?

Far as the recurring nightmare knock-off it can still be easily exploited as long as you use a mana generating outlet to make the sacrifice…….. I primarily run zombies so I can easily think of some ways to break it. Using Phyrexian altar to sac something like nested shambler or shambling ghast aka getting 2 mana off of a 1 mana creature to pay for re-playing the enchantment. By doing so you’ll end up with a surplus of energy aka 3 - 1 = 2 then repeat as needed. You can substitute anything as long as you can: 1). Keep re-generating the casting cost of the enchantment. 2). whatever you sacrifice collectively costs less than 3 mana. Tbh I think recurring nightmare should be unbanned anyway….power creep has made it much less scary.

Priest of Gix and Chthonian Nightmare. If the Colon works as the completion of the sentence, you should be able to sac the Priest of Gix for the CN payment then target it to bring it back with the effect. effectively looping to infinite mana since Prince of Gix adds 3 black everytime it ETB's so net 1 per each cast of the CN.

Herigast nullkite is an amazing commander. first it ignores commander tax. second it makes all your other cards cheaper and is a combo peice in itself. the only problem is, its in red.

17:49 "Do you have a Gaea's Cradle?" Crop Rotation already exists and it's literally 1/4th the cost (in terms of mana) of this card. Also if anyone (like me) was wondering why Nearby Planet was banned by virtue of being an acorn card and Planar Nexus is legal, it's because Nearby Planet was fetchable. Lastly, your Wight of the Reliquary combo can be done in GB with Bloodghast, Thornbite Staff, and Wight.

Hey, I play a lot of Mono Green, and do play Crop Rotation. *Still* pleased to see Urza’s Cave, because seeing my Nykthos makes *that* much difference. I know next to nothing about Modern, but this card seems like it will prosper in EDH. YMMV, of course. Edit: I mean, yes, 3C seems a bit much, but people regularly pay that and the same -1 in card advantage for a basic on the board tapped and one put in hand.

You can only target a creature already in your graveyard. You can't bring back the sacrificed creature. This is because targets are chosen before costs are paid and the creature you're going to sacrifice is still on the battlefield at this point.

You could get the Eldrazi dragon out on turn 5! Play something for 4 ON 4, and then drop your land on 5 and Energe it with the 4 cost you played on the previous turn.

Having an “old man yells at cloud” moment but a Commander discord I’m in is already complaining that Urza’s Cave needing 3 to use is too slow, I miss the days when players didn’t equate winning = fun and just played the cards. I still get close to those days thanks to sealed formats. Sorry for the rant

I don’t even get the complaint. Right now, most of my Green EDH decks are sacrificing a spot in my 99 to playing a Crop Rotation, pretty much for the express purpose of going and finding my Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx. Aren’t there enough different Lands that are such huge advantages to field more often that people should be overjoyed to essentially get to play 2 of them? Hell, there are plenty of games I’m sitting there wishing something as simple as my Rogue’s Passage would show up, so I can start setting off damage-triggers w/ impunity. It really DOES seem like a lot of players are developing a, “If it isn’t a 10 out of 10 format-warping card, it’s complete crap” mentality.

Even I don’t get it, like if there was actual money on the line then maybe but, the posers at my lgs don’t have what it takes to go pro (mainly they lack patience and outrageous amounts of cash). One of the guys in that discord I know for a fact will quit a board game if it takes more than 20 minutes to play. Meanwhile I’m over here hoping to find a casual pod this Saturday to see what my Star Wars themed “May the Fourth” deck can do.

I don't care if people's feels make them want official spoilers, this game is too expensive to allow this information to only circulate through clandestine groups that can use insider information to corner the market. This is a problem if wotc's making and always has been. They've made the game pieces too lucrative and they can plug up their leaky boat. If cards are spoiled, everyone should have access to that information. Wotc needs to prevent the leak in the first place.
