And what would Starkiller do to Malgus? lol And I'd argue that Anakin is stronger than Malgus. Malgus wasn't the strongest sith in his era, Vitiate The Emperor was.

@@metodi3777 I never said Malgus was the strongest Sith Lord of his era, though he is easily one of the strongest. Sidious even looked up to Malgus greatly and wanted Vader to live up to his example, in which Vader failed miserably. In terms of feats, Malgus has killed hundreds, if not, thousands of battle hardened Jedi/Sith alike, whereas Vader hunted down Jedi in an era where the Jedi were at their weakest. The Jedi Vader hunted down were very incompetent and weren't nearly equipped enough to handle a Sith Lord. It's like the Homelander vs. Omni-Man debate; Vader is a big fish in a small pond. As for Anakin, Malgus would still beat him. Anakin never got close to reaching his full potential, and while he was an expert duelist, he never truly tested himself against other lightsaber duelists aside from Dooku and Ventress. Malgus was killing Jedi and Sith daily. Anakin was only destroying battle droids. And let's not forget Anakin's emotions. He is extremely arrogant, constantly underestimating his opponents while at the same time overestimating his own abilities, and is quick to anger, which makes him unbalanced, which is responsible for most of his losses. Malgus is in complete control of his emotions. He is cold and calculated but is also capable of focusing his anger and fury to demolish his opponents. Yes, Anakin may have a closer connection to the Force than Malgus, but Malgus' mastery of the Dark Side is just too much. As for Starkiller (for whatever reason), Malgus would still win for the reasons that I've already stated, and Starkiller also has a lot of the same faults that Anakin has, which Malgus would have no problems taking advantage of. The only things that Starkiller has going for him here are how unpredictable he is and how he's capable of using the Dark Side. But as i stated earlier, Malgus has killed many powerful Sith Lords in his time, and unlike Starkiller, Malgus is a master Dark Side user and has that experience edge over him. Long tangent, I know, but blame my autism. Old Republic characters were just too strong.

@@SanadaSanadaSanada i really respect your opinion, however imo you're overestimating the abilities of Malgus'es opponents and also his force abilities. He was a master duelist but still weaker in the force than Vader and also Starkiller. The Jedi in his era were no where near the level of Yoda and Windu, probably even Obi Wan. Windu and Yoda stood their ground against Sidious, arguably the most powerful Sith ever.

Yes, there are members of the current Order who stand out, like Anakin, Obi-Wan, Yoda, Windu, and Plo, but when we look at the Sidious duel, we see 3 fully fledged Jedi Masters fall instantly, and, despite being an expert duelist, duelling isn't even Sidious' forte. This is because the Jedi of the modern Era weren't nearly equipped enough to handle a Sith Lord. The Sith weren't seen for over a millenia, leading the Jedi to become lazy and complacent, believing that the Sith were gone for good. As for Malgus, Malgus doesn't have a weak connection to the Force in the slightest. He is extremely powerful in the Dark Side and mastered all its abilities. And let's not forget that Vader's connection to the Force was cut drastically after the events on Mustafar, and Starkiller, while he's extremely potent with the Force, is extremely inexperienced against a fully trained monster like Malgus. And I'm not overestimating the Jedi/Sith of the Old Republic at all. Just because they aren't as well known to fans doesn't make them weaker in the slightest. Playing the games, we see that they're much more competent with their judgement and are well equipped to handle Sith Lords. That's just power scaling. The power scales tipped in the Sith's favour during the Skywalker Era due to the Jedi's incompetence, whereas in the Old Republic, the Jedi had fought in many wars against both Sith and Mandalorians, making both sides battle-tested, and their wisdom is unmatched, putting the Jedi and Sith of that era on an even playing field. The Jedi of that era were absolutely at the same level as the likes of Yoda and Windu. Many people just don't know that because the Jedi of the Old Republic aren't as well known. And while I agree that Sidious is among the most powerful Sith Lords, I really struggle to see how he's THE most powerful. Seeing as he lost to Windu, we see duelling isn't his preferred style of attack, meaning he'd undoubtedly lose to the likes of Malgus and Revan, two of the greatest duellist in galactic history, and comparing his Force power to other Sith Lords, Nihilus and Vitiate beat him, as we have never seen Sidious pull off any kind of similar feat as those two. I know George Lucas said Sidious was the most powerful Sith Lord, but he said that before the Old Republic even existed. Going purely by feats, Sidious is outmatched, though I'm not saying he's weak in the slightest. I respect your opinion, too, and understand if your stance on the subject doesn't budge. I'm just glad we can have a civil debate about this. And sorry again for the long tangent.

As a matter of fact I would even say that from the point of Coruscant sacking and post that, Malgus would have bodied BOTH pre-mustafar Anakin and any point of his life Starkiller, both at same time. Malgus simply DOESN'T stop if you are in his way, he WILL buldoze through and not just because he is skilled of strong with the Force but because of his tenacity, the unyelding force of will. The only cutscene battle he ''kind '' but not actually lost in on Alderaan, by being blindsided by Jace Malcolm, which gives Satele chance to burry Malgus under rubble. Hundreds tons of rubble, which Malgus survives without becoming crippled. Like yes you CAN defeat Malgus in his flashpoint, and in other moments of the game, BUT that is because it is done by player who is MAIN Character of the story, so OF COURSE they would defeat Malgus. But besides that Malgus have never lost a fight in his life. Unlike aforementioned Anakin and Starkiller who have suffered defeats, and in case of Anakin pretty embarassing ones at that.

Actually Empire is xenophobic( not racist) against ANYONE who is not a human, even Chiss and Purebloods get treated as alien scum, which in regards to Purebloods is super Ironic since they were the first Sith. Another correction. In the last trailer Malgus is not manipulating Sa''Har, he just tells her how it is. Malgus was ALWAYS above lies, deception and machinations. He considers that route as a weakness, as a sign that you are not strong enough to go for your goal and deal with consequences. Also he doesn''t force her to choose ''dark side'', His point is that she was in the cage of Jedi teachings of suppressing emotions and locking them away. He tells her to break out of cage and use her emotions, her passion and drive to help her survive. And yes He forces her to either give up, lay down in complacency like Jedi teachings would tell her, or to fight for her goal and herself and break free. Pay attention to two moments. First is when he tells Sa''Har what that machine was for. Look at his eyes. Even though they are bloodshot, they are not Sith eyes. Second moment is at the end where he is able to open that holocron meaning that he has control over both light and dark side of the force.
