@@Amp661 GL will never come back. He's said so himself - his age and his new family were his driving force to sell in the first place. I agree though, perhaps the franchise should have been retired, at least from a live-action perspective. When it comes to Lucasfilm and SW, they should stick with producing animated series like Rebels and Clone Wars.

It is because Bob Iger who is her superior was impressed with how episode 7 did at the box office as well as the Grogu toy sales. Also in many interviews she stated that she wants to draw in more female audiences because the fanbase is male dominated

Marvel just went back to quality over quantity. It will correct itself, Disney will lose money and either change direction or they'll lose the property and someone else will buy it.

Star Wars under Disney should have been planned and executed like the MCU Phases 1 to 3 was and with someone at the helm who knew what was what, why, when and how. They could have adapted what is now Legends instead of what Disney did in dumping it and making their own history. At least it would have been relatable for fans. Even the MCU deviated somewhat from what was published in the comics. Like the MCU, SW could have been a linear series of films, but unlike the MCU with Phases 1 and 2 culminating with a single Avengers film, each SWCU Phase culminates with a major two-film cinematic event like Infinity War and Endgame. Each Phase could have had intro-style films about prominent characters with a semi-major film in the middle that begins building to Phase-end event. How many Phases should there be? Three? Four? Who knows! Who or what should be considered the Big Bad? Thrawn? Yuuzhan Vong? Who knows!

Andor was good

Rogue One has been the best of the Disney-era live-action movies, then Solo and the Sequel trilogy. When it comes to live-action series, in order, have been Andor and Mando S1 has been the best, followed by Mando S2 and Ahsoka. The rest, in order are Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mando S3 and Book of Boba Fett. I'll reserve judgement on The Acolyte until all 8 episodes have screened rather than making assumptions on what we've seen so far.

Because "Disney woke now" and "Kathleen Kennedy ruined Star Wars anyway", I have literally not seen a single sensical argument from haters of the show, some people haven't even watched it and they're still saying it's the worst thing ever made. The truth is that so far The Acolyte has been a perfect decent Star Wars show but you know what the Star Wars fandom is like...

Because it's made for profit and agenda. George didn't give a shit about the fans, Disney wants money. Plus a francise under new ownership will just be different. People don't care about the art, they want the brand. That's why Disney sucks

@@TheTurdle Im not toxic or anything its just genuinely horrible. The plot, acting, pacing, it's all horrible. Especially the dialogue. The only redeeming factor so far is the action. I really hope I'm proven wrong in the last five episodes but I just don't see that happening.
