That's one thing that I dislike about reaction videos that feature the music video is that too much attention is paid on the video and not enough on the music itself.

I saw them way back in the mid-80s at UBC in Vancouver, Canada. A great goth-rock band. Einstürzende Neubauten opened for them.

This song samples the beat from Schoolly-D's 1985 Hip-Hop classic 'P.S.K. (What Does It Mean?) which is considered the first "gangsta rap" record... This was definitely a favorite of mine when it dropped on MTV.

Nope. It was the use of a factory-included beat from a drum machine - the same one that Schoolly-D used - it was not sampled.

I've always thought Siouxsie is beautiful in an unconventional way, like a Hollywood screen Godess Jayne Russell type, or Dietrich. In this video geared to crack USA, she's stunning. First saw SATB 1978, and every album tour since in UK last being 1995 . Fabulous

Yes it is about Jayne Mansfield. She said “divoon” ( fabulous). I believe she had a pink swimming pool. She was working in a film Kiss Them for Me. She died in a car accident, unfortunately. There is a lot out there that isn’t true about her -but that’s show biz … May she be at peace.

A pity, The Rapture is a very good album (their final album of course). I agree Superstition is quite atypical and very 'pop-y' but I'd give them the benefit of the doubt over it...
