This is GANGNEUNG!? - South Korea Off The Beaten Path 

It's been great to back to Korea and explore some of the lesser known areas! I'd highly recommend checking out Gangneung if you're passing through.

I think you were eating sukiyaki at a Japanese restaurant. It would be like someone going to a Spanish tapas restaurant in London and thinking it was British food.

Visited Gangneung and Sokcho last year; smaller cities are so much more interesting to me.

It's the city that probably invented the term 'seas the day' because why just have a beach when you can have a beach with a side of charm? Visited it earlier this year to film one of our TV show for few days and I absolutely love it.
