Thanks so much for this. Had this when I was a teenager and for several years tried to find this, specifically because I wanted him doing You May Be Right. I had given up a while ago, but tonight something made me think of it and I decided to check. Thanks!!
I had this tape back in 92 and we watched it all the time. Garth put on a hell of a show. And, even with VHS quality sound, it's still better than all the Garth covers on RU-vid. When I want to hear Garth's songs, I want Garth singing them.
I can’t believe how nostalgic this is for me. I watched this VHS every day as a child for what seemed like years. It’s what taught me to love music and eventually become a songwriter. Garth was everything back then. Thanks for uploading!
I was 17 years old when this was broadcast on nbc in January of 1992 and my dad for some reason or another could not keep his mouth shut during this program.
Holy shit! I used to get up every morning on summer break when I was like 7 or 8 and watched this video. It was recorded on a vhs from TV and didn't have the whole show but I thought it was so amazing. I remember the label where you'd write the name of the vhs movie or whatever was on the tape had a scratch on it and I'd identify this tape by looking for the scratch cause it was quicker than reading every tapes' label on the shelf lol. Oh man. Thank you for uploading!!
I was picturing a Corn Silo, in my mind, when Garth was talking, I, got side tracked really. But I also got Vertigo when he was "up there", in the light racks above .... day dreaming.
Thank you so much, Kate! Your kind words are like a warm hug and they make me feel so appreciated. Keep on listening and I'll keep on making music from the heart.
My dad had this on VHS when I was a kid. My dad ended up burning it to DVD for me. Old VHS tapes of Garth Brooks and Kiss are what got into music in the first place. I saw Garths outfit from this in Country Hall of Fame and it brought a tear to my eyes from the much nostalgia.

Thanks from Dallas, i wasn't sure to the end if that was here and then Garth said he couldn't take anymore TX... we called it Reunion Arena... they've tore that down now
I recorded this on VHS back when it first aired, but of course over the years I’ve lost it and no longer ave a VCR. Very glad to see this! I sure miss Reunion Arena!
The concert Garth did in August 1997 in Central Park, New York, Shows Garth at his best. Shameless is a mint, Two of a kind, that summer, Honky tonk bar, to make her feel my love, Ireland, It's Your Song, The Dance and The Fever. Must listen, people are missing out!

This was issued on the DVD set The Entertainer. It also featured This is Garth Brooks Too, and Central Park concert NY. The first one could use a remastering. Used copies of the set available. Randy
What is so sad as to watch them destroy those two guitars that somebody put their heart and soul and love into making for them just to destroy it breaks my heart for the person that did build those I can feel how it broke their heart to see that happen to see that happen
I had all of Garth's televised concerts recorded on VHS back in the 90s. My Mom recorded over them some time later. 😮💨 I'll never forget that rope jump! 😂 I got to see him in Memphis in '98! Thanks for the upload and the nostalgia!
But he won the law suit and got his money back from his donation from the Yukon hospital,And give a free show in Central Park N.Y..And this man is a hero and legend in Oklahoma 🙌🏼🤠
Had the VHS of this and wore it out! Ido however remember Standing outside the Fire been sang yet it’s not on this video? Also the bit when he uses the harness and flies over the audience?
