Right, I'm an RN that retired pre- plague with no pension or insurance and need cataract surgery & ulcer work-up; my roof leaked from recent storm damage; my well needs replaced, half my electric shorted out; I can' remember when I last ate meat or fresh fruit or vegetables; yet I'm a single senior that doesn't qualify for any assistance but boy oh boy I better pay taxes on my social security and my property taxes which were already expensive doubled in 6 months. I went to an all girls HS in the 1970s our gym teacher and one of the Nuns were locked and loaded and we didn’t have these issues today. I asked my gym teacher why? She said simply, you never know when a bad person will go crazy I'm ready to protect you.

This is why I homeschool. Uvalde shooting here in texas was heartbreaking for me having younger ones. My oldest being those children's ages. I had already chose to homeschool before then because school system was failing him. Have to protect our own anymore. 🙏❤ for the families. Oh and just like the illegal immigrant who stabbed a girl at a baseball game over the weekend and ran away while parents where chasing him. In Indiana. The invasion is ridiculous and needs to stop. They won't help our veterans who served to protect us but help those who are out to destroy our country.

- Shooting - My first thoughts were of concern for all involved, finding out if people were killed or injured, and if shooter had been stopped. My second thought was “they’ll” use this to, unjustly, take guns from people. Criminals will always be able to get their hands on guns, outlawed or not. - Joe’s Setting - The “set” JB was using was the one they built a few years ago across the street from the White House. Across the room from where Joe is sitting is a giant screen which is his teleprompter. I’ve seen them use the set when Joe’s meeting with others because it would look bad on video to have a teleprompter seen when he’s only meeting with 3 or 4 people. When there are others present, they’re at little desks, too. And, yes, the press is allowed in there.

At least in my area, schools have to pay to have police officers in schools. So it may not be in the budget. But it's still no excuse. ALL schools in my city elementary to high school have police officers stationed at each school. High schools have at least 2 officers at each school.

This happened to my granddaughter a year and a half ago at her high school. She and her friend were walking across the campus and she heard the news and they ran into a classroom and hid in a closet. She was sooo traumatized… it was the most horrible incident in the whole world. this is ridiculous. So when they catch the guy go ahead and give him to me I will find a few things for him.😢😢

Sadly on one hand yet grateful on the other... the high school I attended have police at the school entry points as well as metal detectors. It works.
