William Nylander before puck drop, said "We've got nothing to lose. We're just fu****g playing and hopefully pull out a win". The Bruins were 0-5 in series clinching games. The Leafs were 0-6 at home in the Playoffs. So with Auston Matthews out again, their back was against the wall in a must win game 6. It was now or never. Nylander, who hadn't scored in 13 games absolutely NEEDED to show up and he did. Him and Woll just pulled the Maple Leafs into a game 7 against the Boston Bruins for the 4th consecutive time. This is a first in NHL history. It was a game where both Woll and Swayman made some great saves. We also had plenty of physicality as expected and incredibly, the Leafs held the Bruins to just 1 shot in the entire opening period. While Woll all but secured a shut out, Geekie scored with literally .1 seconds of time remaining and of course Nylander had the only 2 goals of the game for the Leafs.
