The power of repetition, when using positive affirmations to manifest your ideal life, is unmatched in changing the subconscious mind. Neville Goddard once wrote that the door to heaven is through sleep which is where we access our subconscious mind in order to manifest our chosen reality. Repeat it even if you don't "believe" it. Repeat it even if you don't "feel" anything. Repeat it when "nothing is changing". Repeat it when the oposite happens. Keep repeating it, even if tears of blood are rolling down your eyes while doing it. Repeat, and you shall receive.

I agree with this completely! I was just thinking about the subject last night, of building new neural pathways, and how cool our minds are that we can do that. I started practicing this only in the beginning of January, and every day/week I see just how much my mind, thoughts, doubts, fears, worries, have all flipped, and the progress I've made in changing my self; it's like I'm a new person. And how much easier it is today, than say even 2 weeks ago, to not give negative thoughts attention, and just trust. Or how it's much quicker and easier now to go into the imagination and feel into the state, and really feel like I'm there. I get excited to think about the changes to come. And it's all from repetition and building those new neural pathways. It just feels normal eventually, just as all the negative crap in your mind became "normal" over your life. It's like wanting to be good at guitar. You have to practice every day and repeat, repeat, repeat. And eventually it becomes second nature, right? I imagine this is just the same.

Repetition is very important. All of our beliefs were taught to us from the ages of 0-7 so our subconscious was formed around that time. But through the idea of neuroplacisity it’s possible to change your brain and rewire it.

It’s not necessary imho. I typically play them out loud due to the headphones slipping out of my ears. If my fiancee is with me that night, I’ll wear ear buds or play affirmations that I made for both of us. Thank you!

The recordings themselves (the affirmations) are probably 1 min long but loop over and over for 1hr to 8hrs depending on the track. I get the music from the site called Artlist 🙌🏾

I am excited to try your affirmations in the coming weeks! Will you be making them in You Are format? What do you think of I Am vs You Are when it comes to listening to someone else's track? Your perspective makes everything seem so sensible; I'd love to hear your thoughts on this debate. Also regarding affirmations, what do you think about affirming until you have fully manifested something versus dropping it when you are satisfied it is done? This seems to be divided amongst the community. I've heard keep going until you see it (so your focus stays on it) versus once you know it is done, leave it alone as repeatedly going back to it can be reinforcing that you don't have it. Anyway, great channel - it is nice to see how fast you are growing! The community needs more sensible teachers like you, who have actual knowledge and personal experience with the principles.

Hi Shaun you have no idea how excited I am for you to drop that subliminal video!! I was waiting for the video to drop so that I could ask the questions I wanted to ask on subliminals. But my excited ass just cannot wait any longer! I have a couple of questions and I would be so grateful if you could answer them as I am trying to use subliminals to change my life. 1) Firstly, does it matter if the affirmations are I AM instead of You Are? So I have done research and apparently the subconscious mind has trouble listening to another voice other than yours if affirmations are said in I AM. Hence if another person is recording it then You Are is more effective. Is this true? Does it mean if its another voice the subconscious rejects it completely or just that it takes more time for it to impress,given the voice isnt mine and its in I AM? I am very confused because there are endless subliminal youtube channels with more than 300 or 400k views and raving reviews with everyone swearing it works and they got results really quickly. But when I check the affirmations, its in I AM formm 2) In this video you mentioned that the conscious mind is a gatekeeper to the subconscious mind. I feel like when you are awake, when you are focusing your conscious mind on something, thats the best time to target the subconscious mind. Aka listening to subs in the background while I work or commute. I love playing those memory tile mobile games. And because I can get quite focused on it, what I have started to do is switch off the music and sound effects of the game and listen to subs instead so while my conscious mind is busy playing with the game my subconscious can be impressed. Do you reckon this is effective? 3) If subliminals are are immediately able to target the subconscious then in your opinion, would you say its actually more effective than affirmations / scripting / visualizing etc? 4) I have found that ever since I started listening to subs (mainly beauty subs) I have been having more dreams. They aren't nightmares nor related to my manifestations. But just super random like me making a trip to a grocery store or me chilling at a friend's house or my latest one was me taking the same train as a colleague. Is this normal? I normally cannot remember my dreams but they seem more lucid and vivid and occur more frequently. Why is this so? 5) I use a app for recording my affirmations and what I do is to "bundle" them, meaning to play them while simultaneously playing my beauty subs. Does this or would this confuse the subconscious? Is there a possibility when it starts to overwhelm the subconscious? 6) ok the water thing. There are ppl arguing all over the internet that subs are only effective if you drink plenty of water. Personally while I think its great to always be hydrated, I don't think that just because I didnt drink enough water, it means the subs are ineffective? I do think because there is always a noise in the background you can get headaches and the water helps ease that. What are your thoughts on this? I am so sorry this is such a long post. I am doing a 21 day challenge with myself to listen to subs and test out the effectiveness for myself. Hence why i am so curious about them! I so appreciate you taking time to respond! Hi! First off, you should join the FB group since that's a better platform for long questions. facebook.com/groups/355701380571120/ (1) No. Think about it, doesn't it feel good to get a compliment from someone? That is the power of "You are". However, you are correct about the voice thing. If it's YOUR voice you're listening to, it needs to be in "I AM". If it's someone else's voice, it should be in "YOU ARE" form. I've experimented with both and they are equally effective. As for the RU-vid channels, it worked for those individuals simply because they believed it work. Placebo effect. (2) Yes, I think that's just as effective. I still prefer using primarily during sleep but as long as the conscious isn't focused on the message, it works. Over time, I've found that I can listen to my affirmations with no music and still zone out to other things. (3) Yes! I believe that on an overall basis, subliminals are the most effective technique simply because it doesn't require you to do anything but listen. I still rank visualization above everything else in theory, but you can listen to subliminals 24-7 without any effort in pratice. So, it gets the edge. (4) Yes, it's normal. I had a lot of random dreams when I was trying to imprint something. Eventually, I would dream about what I was trying to manifest and it occurred soon thereafter. It's not a requirement but it's a good benchmark to have if you experience it. (5) I don't think it confuses the subconscious but I try to avoid bundling them. You should be able to understand them if you remove the music. That's a topic of debate in the community, but I found when I was bundling subs, they became less effective for me. I was being too impatient. (6) Subs are effective no matter what but I believe they can be more effective when properly hydrated. That's just science. We're mostly made of water, so if you're not functioning at 100%, it can decrease your cognitive abilities. "Studies show that you only need to be 1% dehydrated to experience a 5% decrease in cognitive function. A 2% decrease in brain hydration can result in short term memory loss and have trouble with math computations. Prolonged dehydration causes brain cells to shrink in size and mass, a condition common in many elderly who have been dehydrated for years." Thank you so much for the positive feedback. You’re bit about the role of the conscious mind to guard the subconscious makes New Thought teacher Ernest Holmes’ wisdom make more sense. In his book Creative Mind and Success, he says “See only what you wish to experience, look at nothing else.” I highly recommend anyone to read his work, especially if you’re a student of Neville and conscious creation.

You should be in a neutral or positive state. Affirming form a negative state is very unproductive. I would only do so through recorded affirmations personally.

Yea it’s very normal. If you read Neville’s books, he speaks about the old self “dying” to the new self. As you’re shifting into the new version of yourself, the old self will fight you literally for its survival. So, you will experience anxiety, crying, fear and more. This is normal as I’ve experienced it several times on my journey. Persist in the new thoughts and these moments will go away gradually.
