It's so bad and the reduced accuracy really hurts on controller, too. I was just starting to get better with bows and really enjoyed them, too.😥 Now I either have to try extra hard and get my ass kicked nevertheless because Bungie doesn't like bows and everyone's just team shooting in the back of the map anyway or I strap on a pulse rifle and go easy mode.... decisions, decisions....
@mythe6669 I used to run raconteur with AT/SW but now I swapped to AT/Gutshot to still 2 tap at times and it's not too bad imo the reduced accuracy hasn't changed much at all the main thing was the damage reduction
@@1sbeve I just go by what was said by Mercules (or Chris) on a developer interview where it was specifically stated gutshot only activates when drawing while ads-ed. I'm also unlikely ro stare down my sights after releasing the arrow tbh and additionally, a body shot won't activate AT either and reduce accuracy even more than it already is. Doesn't seem viable in my lobbies.
Hey Hynra, can you throw me those background music for this video? It sounds like a banger Season of Dawn Remix and I’ve adored that soundtrack since that trailer
Before all the berfs hit i was using lethophobia with slickdraw and as little accuracy possible, cause of this i have barely felt the nerfs but the 2 crit gets me sometimes.
I’m still so upset at how they nerfed bows. Obviously they needed a nerf, but all they did was butcher more aggressive play. It doesn’t combo with as many things, you have to be perfectly accurate, and you have to deal with a meta entirely favoring long range poke. If you’re a godly player that only lands headshots then maybe you can still play an aggressive bow, but it’s just so much more difficult. The worst part is that a slower poke meta is exactly where the more boring bow playstyle shines. It’s nerfed, yet it’s still just as good and just as annoying to fight. Sure, the headshots were nerfed to 120 damage, but that is STILL an instant half health burst gone from safety. Bungie needs to put scaling nerfs to bow. Bump the base damage up at close range, with damage and AA falling off at longer ranges. ANY weapon with zero damage fall off is going to be annoying to fight against. It’s a ridiculous concept.
You right. I mean if the nerfs are anything to go by, using them (or any weapon for that matter) with any sort of skill instead of hugging your teammates nuts to camp or deathball is illegal but hey, the crucible changes were supposed to bring skill back to pvp right? Completely ignoring that the weapons with the most forgiving aim assist cones (so they hit crits without even trying while having some of the highest base ttks solo or team shooting because of said easy crits) are always gonna be meta because they're "IP defining" and the only thing that pushes them out is an obviously more unbalanced weapon on release + seasonal mods that should never work in crucible to begin with.
Honestly dumb things like this is what made gaming so fun for me back when I played Source games like TF2. So much of gaming has gone more and more competitive but sometimes we need to embrace the sillyness of stuff like this lol.
welp.. i always see him in my lobbies. i thankfully havent seen this kinda shit happen in them tho xD lol but he does swaps to igneous and shotty 2 minutes in.
Be vewy vewy quiet. Im hunting guardians... I busted a gut laughing at these spots. I hate citadel, but seeing those spots as a crayon munching main, I tip my hat and extend my favorite blue crayons.
@LaSplasher it can be, especially for the people doing it. Even if they don't win they still had fun playing in ways most people won't because they're too intent on winning to have any actual fun
@@LaSplasherif its in control anything and everything goes. thats the point is to do silly stuff. if i want “fair” and “competitive” games ill try trials or 3’s
