As a non muslim, I've completed my puasa for 5 days (since first day). And watching this on 6th day, meanwhile I woke up late & missed my sahur. 😭😭 Eating/drinking after completing puasa properly, it hits totally different! Especially when you take ur first sip of your any type of drink on the exactly most awaited time to buka puasa. 🥺♥️

Thanks for IChang introduction. As a Malaysian, even I’m not a Muslim, my family and I are enjoy to go bazaar Ramadan. We love the food here and also can help a bit the economy of Muslims. They worked hard a month before Raya just to let their family have a wonderful Raya. Ya, no plastic is a good idea, and hope that more people can bring their own lunch boxes to buy food.

One of the things I love watching you two is because you make efforts to slip in educational points in your videos, some beautiful and subtle yet impactful reminders to viewers, it's not just about the food and how _sedap_ they are. For eg the use of own tiffins or other food containers to bring to the market/bazaar instead of relying on plastics and styrofoams, plus in the end, subtly advising people going to the ramadhan bazaars to put an effort to refrain from eating, and especially drinking, in public. It's true that we muslims, in particular adult muslims, we don't feel threatened or weakened or anything negative if we see people eating while we fast the whole day, we are already wayyy too immune haha, but it's merely the respect on the others' part, that's all, just like what good boy jimmy said right there. Respecting others is the point, and we need that everywhere and every time, at home with parents, with other family members and with neighbors, on the road with other road users, in the plane with other passengers, inside the supermarket, everywhere. Good job again you two lovely people! 👍

@@sitihajarmdyamin6804 yup exactly. Same for me actually, but I do put genuine efforts on recycling plastics, have been doing that for several years now, I drink bottled mineral water daily so all those plastic bottles accumulate quickly, and I'd wait for about 2 months then pack them all up into the back of my truck and send that 1 truck load to a recycling centre, getting about 20 sen haha. But admittedly I have not done the same for paper waste. As for glass, I really wanted to do so, but apparently in malaysia it's very rare to find recycling centres taking in glass items, so I forget that idea and only focus on plastics

in fact, if you want to use a plastic container, you can. But you must have awareness about the environment. In Malaysia, we can educate 70% of the population to be aware of the disadvantages of plastic or plastic bottles, but this 30% is the one who is very stubborn and has a 3rd world mentality. Especially foreigners who come from the 3rd world. But I see many lorry drivers and lorry drivers throwing garbage from their cars onto the road in Malaysia. You can eat the cempedak goreng seeds. Try it if you have not done it before... peel the thin outer layer of the seed and bite.

As a Singaporean, I really envy my Malaysian brothers and sisters for their Ramadhan food bazaar. Great, tasty food at reasonable prices. Here, the prices are higher than average due to the high rent of the stalls. Love I-Chang's tiffin strategy, saves a lot of plastic!

If jimmy and ichang choose cempedak no. 1, don't ever throw away the seeds because the seeds taste delicious and have a unique bean flavor. Try it, that feeling of exploring a new world.. If u see again chempedak goreng.. Try this seeds.. Ok😘

The seed needs to be properly cooked. The texture is a bit like boiled potatoes.

Congrats for mission accomplished! Finally, you all get to experience Ramadan Bazaar and taste some of the good food there. Now, for the next challenge, maybe try to cover as many Ramadan Bazaar from different places in KL / Selangor, whereby each of them have their own star attraction food / drinks stalls. Do check out with some of your Muslim friends to get their best pick. They will be glad to give you their advice.

Cempedak goreng! I'm so happy you got to try it. It used to be so cheap. We used to have lots of cempedak trees and we sell cempedak fruit in bulk to the cempedak goreng sellers. 7 for RM10 now - omg!

Because of the demand, some evil people steal cempedak from other people's tree, very challenging for the farmers now
