Dude, this is great! The thought you put into all this deserves the “Dad of the year” award! This is so thoughtful, I really hope that everyone appreciated this. You make dads like us look great!
My dad is gone now but it made me tear up. Ok it made me cry. He used to take me and my sisters and brother to the drive in in the summer and it would be a big camp out in the back off his truck. We lived in NYC but spent summer times way upstate and it was a huge treat. God I haven't thought of it in 35 yrs.
Don't forget a picture! As a 19 year old, I wish I had something to remind me of that moment and have somethings to talk about from the past. Along the lines of "Oh that wood like table we were using was bought by my dad. He set up a screen projector at the back of the truck. He would always pull those stunts when we can't use the tv......yadayadayada"
Driving a giant, gas guzzling truck and wasting electricity. The _LAST_ thing the world needs is more Americans being Americans. We need _FEWER_ Americans. 300 million fewer would be an excellent start...
For all those who are worried about mosquitos there is something called mosquito repellent cream for 2 dollars, i think they are smart enough to buy a 2 dollar cream when they own a 30,000 dollar setup there
@@joesullivan259why do people think anyone with any bit of financial abundance or even stability are trust fund babies? 😂 this world is filled with opportunity, I find it unusual and nearly impossible for people to struggle forever.
When you and your wife want to watch the sunset, but your kids want to watch cartoons… So why not have both? Built this custom setup for my truck the other day so we can enjoy these little movie nights all summer long at different locations. #movienight #truckbedmovie #truck #dad #movie
Social media: perfect, peaceful, memories for a life time. Reality: (10 mins after sitting down) “Daddy I have to use the bathroom, I don’t want to go in the woods” *starts crying* Cute video though.
@@TedTheAtheistyour username explains a lot. Also it doesn’t matter if the guy in the video believes or doesn’t believe in God, because that doesn’t mean God exists or doesn’t exist.
@@noona7701 Username only tells you I'm an atheist. Yes, it does matter whether he believes in a god or not. Why would you say that to an atheist? Do you think "god bless you" is a magical phrase that does something special? Of course it has nothing to do with whether it exists or not. You not knowing what a god is and unable to demonstrate it shows that it's not worth believing in. It's just good manners to not push your imaginary friends onto other people who don't feel the same.
@@TedTheAtheist well, op didn’t say “you have to believe in God because I said so” they said “God bless you” which is like saying “have a good day” or “good luck”. Is saying “good luck” to someone who doesn’t believe in luck you imposing your beliefs on them? Because I don’t think so. Plus, the guy in the video can just ignore the comment if he disagrees or doesn’t like what they said. He could even remove the comment. It’s not that big of a deal.
@@noona7701 No, it's not like saying "good luck". Nothing like it. If it was, you'd simply say that instead. I didn't say anything about "imposing", you did. Why say that comment at all? It shows the world that you believe in some god thing, and implying he should too. It's not like luck, where we all know it's bs and just a nice thing to say. You're not too good at this, are ya?
❤😢😊 So frkn beautiful to me. I make idea myself like this when my husband comes back. I have american ford f250 kindranch. I certainly will implement this creativity. Lord of Rings at amelia island where I live. Ocean back ground. My husband can watch our favorite movie together while fishing together. If ever get a chance. Amelia or Huguenot park in Jacksonvillehas perfect beaching for vehicles and ability to fish. Lotta jeepers come out and have rigs to cast and leave on their mounts until they get a bite. Setup like this would advertise alot of fisherman in ky area. All outdoorsman and military are closet nerds anyways and love lord of the rings😂
good job by the dad, but going out into the nature to watch a movie? i mean just build a tent up there, tell stories and go walking in the dark with them creates real memories. Everything on a screen gets saved in our brain in a different way. Just keep them away from screens, and they will have a good life.
Tell your Dad, show him the video and tell him this would be great to do and build memories if he says no it's his loss. You and your brother have the whole of your lives to do this for your own future family's - plan and enjoy ❤
@@suesmith4930 my dad didn't take us to a single trip. We only got to go once or twice because our uncle planned a trip together with us. Dad only cared for his office duties. He didn't use his paid leaves, even on the sundays he would find an excuse to go to work. We were okay financially then and now we're much much better but he's still the same even after the retirement. I've never once heard him say "let's go out tonight or let's go on a trip." Because of him my brother has turned out to be the same exact boring version of him. I feel bad for his future kids. I'm in my late 20s now and it hurts seeing these videos. I didn't have a cool dad- daughter/kids relationship like them and it sucked to finally accept it instead of feeling guilty about having such feelings.
Dude you’re the coolest dad/husband by far and I say that with the upmost respect. I’m a dad and you set the bar way high thank you for making me a better father and husband through your videos!
You do so many wonderful things for your family to make them happy and to show that you love them dearly. You are a great example to husbands and fathers. What a blessing! Happy Father's Day!
Was just thinking the same thing. I would rather look at stars through a telescope and tell scary stories by the fire with my kid rather than watch TV.....
Why is everyone hating? That's probably on their farm or something. Tbh, I'd rather watch those cartoons with my family in that setting than in a boring tv room. Their dad wants to give them the cinema experience without forcing them to sit on ratchet looking cinema seats. i applaud this guy. No phones, no tablets, just wholesome family quality time. Need more dads like that.
I got BIG CHILLS when I watched this smh YOU ARE A AMAZING FATHER. Wish I had that in my life growing up or even in my two daughters life. I Never Had A Father like this & unfortunately my beautiful daughters doesn’t either so too see this give me BIG CHILLS🙌🏼💜🙌🏼💜🙌🏼
@oopsiedoopsieimuffeditupagain Yeah. Your wording is better than mine. Its a sensitive topic for me ;D and I hate to see that hedonism is confused with good parenting
Totally Flippin Awesome. You're one hell of a great dad! Not only are your kids blessed to have a great guy like you. But so is your partner. God Bless You and Your Family 🙏🙏🙏🙏
This is something that still stay in their memories for a lifetime ❤ they’ll never forget movie night with mom and dad in the back of dads pickup 🥹🫶🏼 good job dad 👏🏼👏🏼
❤😂🎉Bluey job well done, Awesome, Dad and a Wonderful Husband, your family is Blessed to have you, and Ur blessed to have them, this is My favorite time seeing your video, and it Speaks Volumes!!! GOD bless you!!!
I wish I had a father like you. I watch you do all these amazing things for your girls. It's wonderful. Better yet, where were you (or a man like you, 20 years older..lol) when I was having my children? Awesome 🎉
They have no idea how lucky they are to have you as a dad, thanks for choosing to be there guardian and keeping them safe. Letting them grow up happy and healthy with nothing to be scared about. I wish I had a dad like this, Amen.
