This is How Much RU-vid Paid Me For a Video with 1 Million Views is a video where I show you guys a little bit of how making money on RU-vid works. I created this video because I really think now is the BEST time to start a RU-vid channel mainly due to how the world has rapidly changed. *that Enugu based RU-vidr* says...this is the reason why students perform differently under different tutors. A lot of people have made similar contents on RU-vid, yet none of them were able to break down tips and enlighten viewers the way Tayo did. This isn't a a revenue reveal video, its more of a crash course into RU-vid and RU-vid revenues video. I learnt new stuff..tbh Dalu Nwanne (thanks bro) for this. It makes a lot of sense! Posting those videos has made you a celeb and an important influencer in the Nigerian/African real estate and tourism sector. Those are the fringe benefits that can’t be quantified monetarily. Sometimes we invest in something for their long-term profitability. My first car review video racked up 1M views, and I earned over $1,000 from it, surprisingly. And you are right it depends on CPM. I started a tech channel, and one of my older videos on my car review channel had a $600 CPM on one day, but, overall $40 CPM. So, definitely making tech content too. RU-vid is diverse, and gotta grind hard to make decent money 💴. Costs and expenses, and taxes are definitely higher too.

I love the honesty in this video. It has been very interesting for us running a Finance channel for the last 18 months. The CPMs are much higher as you highlighted. Ours is circa $20 driven mainly by UK and US visitors. Thanks for sharing in such an indepth way 😀
