The Assumption is the body does die, but instead of desecration they remain whole. The soul does not leave the body, like ours do when we die. Mary and a few other saints were Assumpted the body and the soul were raised to heaven together. In Catholic theology that happens at the final judgement for us. "The soul will rejoin the body and we shall Exalt God as we once were." It's part of our funeral mass.

The Bible is very quiet about her life n death. She was mentioned in the First or Second chapter of the book of Acts.Thats it!!!! Don't Invent a story about her life,ok?

And that was it? You are not interested as to what happened to Mary, the Mother of God who bore Him for nine months, nurtured Him and suffered with Him. Is that all? What is depicted here is the search for truth, the exploration of truth about what happened to Mary after Jesus' death. After all, she is not insignificant as you Protestants and other false sects want her to be. For Christ' s sake, she carried Jesus in her womb and you snub her like that. Have you got mothers of your own, stupid?!!

absolutely NOT… that is Protestant disposable grace theory. The 3rd ecumenical council affirmed Mary as the Theotokos , birth giver of God against the Nestorian heresy. Your comment quip is Nestorian , and before there was a division in Orthodox-Catholic Christianity beyond the ancient heresies, like the one you repeated here, the Term THEOTOKOS was, and remains the precise theological title for her as well as its reinforcement against the Christological heresies from Arius and Nestor which made Jesus LESS than the Theandropos. Please , look into this and hopefully you can appreciate my response.

Did the author say, this is in the Bible? Just because it is not in the Bible, everything else cannot be believed anymore? How narrow your mind is. The Bible should guide you and inspire you, not constrict you of the possibilities, especially those that are not contained in the book.
