I am an Indian living abroad who has visited at least 20 coutries, yet the friendliness displayed by Indians to visiting foreigners is something I have never experienced in any other country, and it makes me very proud of India and its people. Especially after seeing your travel vlog, you get welcomed to some family's home in every city you visit, such as Diwali in Pune. Either you folks are overly social, or my country is overly welcoming. Without a doubt, you are a fantastic representative of the Indian tourism Industry. That is very appreciated.
It is both. I'm very impressed with the people of India but also Janine and Liam are such kind and humble souls that only good things can happen to them, even while facing challenges that would make most people give up.
I totally agree with what u say. I myself am a foreigner in india and the hospitality is beyond measure. I currently stay with a host family and they can't do enough for me ❤️
I worked for 3 months in Gujarat at the reliance oil refinery, it completely changed me the country is beautiful but the best thing is the people they are so welcoming and though they have very little they will gladly give you what they have. The world can learn a lot from these wonderful people
@@timstephens7920 Dude you've just been in my city. Anytime you're back there in the refinery, just comment in here and we can just connect and I'll help you roam around my small city. It's small but full of history and many other things. You'll have fun 🤘
Yes India is unique ! Though it has a high population Indians are highly intelligent , as they are adept at speaking many languages and are adaptable. When you Study 📚 Ghandijis Satyagraha in contrast we studied “I Poonam Devi “ It’s about the Coming of the Devi “. About a female who suffered horrific experiences in a Patriarchy , but refused to be brow beaten by what Society dictates. India has many female Iconoclasts !
Your country is very welcoming I’ve been to India with my husband six times and it’s been an incredible experience My husband is a South African of Indian descent.
Great video. I see India in a whole new light after watching your Vlogs and videos. I cannot imagine how cold, unhelpful and dull Indian found (and find) English people in the UK. Everyone smiles and helps each other. We have much to learn from these lovely people. XXXX
My experience is those Britishers who have travelled to India do show courtesy and love for sure to Indians. They atleast try to be kind and welcoming..Indians even though poor would go beyond their capacity to help foreigners.
Oh my!!! That was amazing!!! There is so much going on all the time i love India the food again looked so good! Happy new year to you both🥰 Look forward to the next installment keep safe and Enjoy!😘
Hi guys interesting vlog as always. India is opening my mind to new possibilities. Quick question, having spent so long now experiencing India and its culture, would you consider relocating there ?
@@ThoseHappyDays I can totally get that as at aged 58 I’m finding myself totally disillusioned with how uk 🇬🇧 life is going. Your vlogs are showing that India dispute its problems has got something fundamentally right in terms of life and living it. You should grasp that opportunity if it’s there for you and go for it before you both find yourselves older and wiser and living on regrets. Although I live here in North Norfolk which is beautiful I’m finding India has a pull, probably due in part to my great grandmother being from what was then Bombay.
@less : I’m an Indian settled in the UK. Like every country we have good and bad people. I would say please visit India with an open mind , if your searching your purpose of life that’s where you find answers to the questions through spirituality and Iskcon is where you can start from. We have Iskcon temples in UK too .
I just love watching your India series. Partly because you tell such a great story and seem such nice people, for sure. But I actually get emotional at watching the continual kindness of the Indian people (which I have heard about from many people) and it gives me much needed hope for humanity. Many societies have so much to learn from India
Oh my Goodness... Jagdish - what a great guy! Your insights into every day India through the kindness of people like Jagdish and his family, make this vlog very unique. One of my favourites so far... X
I couldn't agree more Cat. Sometimes I feel that the only way to experience the depth of India is to hang out with the locals. I'm a British woman living in India with an Indian family and it gives me great learning experiences and the family are so kind and hospitable ❤️
What a generous family and obviously proud of their city. It makes you believe once again in humanity after all thats going on in this world. Thank you for sharing and there's not a frame in there that doesn't have a smile in it. You've brightened my cool wet New years day. Heres to much more fun and a happy healthy 2024 for you both. xx
Actually i am from Ahmedabad and have been at the prison place, at 16:19 when you are talking to the person in white pant and shirt, all of the people wearing that white cloths are prisoners, the whole place is run by prisoners who have been behaving well and good, they get chance to work here, it is a very unique concept, and the prisoners are actually paid for the work that they do
Lot of thanks to Mamaji, Jagadish and Gautam for upholding Gujrati and Indian values. Off-course full family interacted and showed how may they love. Gujarti people are one of sweetest in India with there spicy and sweet food. Also thanks to our guest for there interaction and kindness. We welcome everyone in country. If anyone had any bad experience we are sorry and try to improve. Pls Visit INDIA, Bharat. Its incredible by nature and people. I am 99% sure Mamaji day job is not to ride Tuk tuk, they may have borrowed from friend and took guests on ride. i am pleased by there nature.
Jagdish you are a good man god bless you for taking the trouble to take these foreign tourists out to see Ahmedabad showing Indian hospitality. You have made India proud
I am Advocate in Gujarat High Court at Ahemdabad, my native place in Uttar Pradesh, although people all over india are very nice , warm and helpful but gujrati people are one step ahead in warmth and decency. They mean business no nonsense and enjoy the life. You will not get disappointed in whole gujrat , enjoy it.
What we never show is the conversations we ask each time making sure all the food we eat is vegan (to save people being bored of repetitive conversation)...but so much food naturally is anyway, especially in gujarat and south india
This Is Our HIndu Respectful, Beautiful, colourful culture...No Brainwash, No Hate speech to other religion, Don't compare to other Gods just Spread love & Enjoy life
Gujarati people are the nicest in India. I mean there's a reason why we made a Gujarati PM three times in a row. Please also visit my state Uttarakhand someday. There are hill stations like mussoorie (Queen of the hills) and Nainital. Also, can't miss the yoga capital of the world Rishikesh.
I myself was born in Gujarat and have been living here by birth. Rich Gujarati people think they are superior than any other Indian people. They are moneyminded. Most of them only love to go to USA or Canada or the UK. It is hard for indian people to get a home into a highly Gujarati populated area in Gujarat. They are treated like slaves if they are from UP or Bihar(if bhaiyya). This tourist is only for a few days. Interview to any bhaiyya people.
Loved it all the india vids are wonderful so are the uk but so much joy colour ,spirituality, and love ❤️ in india for life and humans, animals what a place ❤️ ❤
Janine and Liam your vlogs just get better and better. You should just focus on being vegan travel vloggers because you are just amazing and the videos beautiful and interesting.
Another interesting vlog and could never accuse Janine & Liam of having a boring life. Looking forward to new adventures in the year ahead. Love 🥰 the vlog and love 💕 Janine & ❤ Liam
Thank you for an amazing video. It brought back so many memories from my time in India. Wishing you both all the best for 2024 and look forward to watching more of your adventures 🎉🥰 Nameste

Guys, Just love ur videos and your journey's, hats off to Jagdish, I am so proud of my fellow Indian who spared an entire day/Money with love to show a foreign couple his city, this doesn't happen in any part of Europe mind you, I myself have travelled in EU and ppl are not that welcoming, hence this means a LOT, ❤❤❤❤❤ and Respect to Jagdish
SUPERB vlog. Such beautiful people taking you out. I loved the Devi temple and the hari Krishna temple dancing. The concept of the prison was interesting and omg the Ghandi ashram. How awesome. But the grave yard cafe wud have totally freaked me out. I wud have been a mess but v well done to u two for managing it so well THANK YOU for giving us such FANTASTIC entertainment Namaste and Blessings Kas ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Mata Vaishno Devi Temple in Ahmedavad is a replica and a small version of the actual Mata Vaishno Devi which is accessible from place called Katra near Jammu north of India and is situated 14 kilometres up in the Trikuta mountains, I hope you can make it up to Jammu and Katra, worth visiting once in a lifetime experience, hope you are enjoying hospitality of Indian people and enjoying your trip.
Happy New Year Janine and Liam, and thank you for all your hard work throughout 2023 keeping us entertained with such professional, interesting and enjoyable Vlogs. We love following your adventures, particularly in India. Having backpacked there on two occasions ten+ years ago we can identify with everything you are experiencing, and it's great to 'be there' again. We are a bit old for those sorts of adventures now, but can re-visit those times through your inspiring channel. Wishing you both a happy, healthy and fun 2024.
There is a restaurant in Brixton prison in London called The Clink. I believe they have some other branches in prisons around the country. It’s a great way for prisoners to learn skills that will help them get a job when they are freed.
Thank you Jagdish for taking them to ISKCON mandir - The BEST of all the activities. BTW, you may visit ISKCON Mandir on Soho street (across Oxford Street) and also in Watford (there you can enjoy Gerorge Harison memorial garden. Call the temple and check the timing of the Sunday feast. If you are in India, please visit ISKCON madir in basically any town or city in India.
If you have realized, Jagdish's family is not rich. But to remain happy & content doesnt require one to be rich. Note- Its not about India but world over concept, Just Jagadish happened to be Indian here.
Thanks for Explaining My city of Ahmedabad and thanks for add in Your Video Album. We the Gujarati people.. Lots of Love and Respect from Ahmedabad…Gujarat
Lovely man wasn't he. I'm a foreigner in india and similar to Liam and Janine I see the country through the eyes of the locals as they do all they can to give me authentic experiences and I LOVE IT 💖
Wow, amazing ! What beautiful, gracious people you are meeting on your journey . The food looks incredible and love your spice meter 😁 Glad to see you recovered well Jamine from your recent bug. Take care . Thank you for sharing Xx
Just wonderful video yet again showing the kindness and goodness of the people of India. I’m Learning a lot about the different cultures and wonderful people. Thank u
This is so cool I studied Ghandiji at Uni and his Philosophy of Peace Force , Passive Resistance , and Satyagraha. You made me so happy today the First January 2024. Little did we know whilst at Uni the Lord was calling us to India. After listening to Daniel O Donnell singing …”I will go Lord if you lead me, I have heard you calling in the night “Here I am Lord”. India chooses you , you don’t choose India.
Another incredible vlog. Highlight for me is ending with visit to Hare Krishna temple. On this 2024, through you both I too got blessed. Thank you to Jagdish and his uncle, generous souls. Krishna bless them. Enjoyed as ever watching you two on your incredible journey. ❤😊🙏🙏
What a wholesome video! Had smiles throughout. As an Indian who has visited Ahemedabad before, I've never gone to this vaishnav devi temple. Will surely check it out!
@@ThoseHappyDaysThe small tunnel/cave / represents the time spent by a person in his / her mother's body and the route one has to take to be born. So one comes back as a different person after having Darshana of the Devi (Goddess), like having a new birth.
Jagdish, his uncle and family is one of those who represent, what's actual India is & Indian people are.Thank you Jagdish for this.god bless you man...🙏🙌🏼
Ahhh Guys! The BEST yet!!!! Ghandis' ASHRAM WOW 👌 What an amazing start time the year!!!!!! That must have been AWESOME!!!!! Like walking where Solomon walked or something similar. Love it!! THANK YOU!!! A GREAT 2024 TO YOU BOTH✨️🔔🤗🤗😘😘
Your lovely guide took you on a tour of life. From food to the goddess temple to the grave. Very spiritual wholesome and meaningful. The goddess caves are clearly symbolic of the feminin fertility and passage.. the narrow tight rounded tunnels are very indicative of feminin fertility. As the Devi is with the female cow. The caves mimic birth canal. One of the best tours of india ive ever witnessed. Wonderful! Happy new year to you!
Happy New Year Janice and Liam. Hope you have a wonderful 2024 exploring India. I promise you that you will find a Jagdish in every town and city you visit. Cheers from Bangalore
Guys, absolutelly loving your Indian adventures, the kindness of the locals is just heart warming. it kinda makes you wish to be like them in terms how strong their families are, how open their hearts are and the Godly light that beams through their eyes. Loved your experience at the Hare Krishna temple which was a lot about music (and how God transcends through it I guess??) so was a bit dissapointed to listen to a mediocre western pop music song- totally off topic. I was in India for 6 months and I cant remember if I ever heard Indians listening to a western music so I think if you really want a viewer to fully immerse in your Indian experience you should stick to its soundtrack too. Good luck guys and keep up the good spirit!
@@ThoseHappyDays some temples were build at a place which was difficult to reach like somewhere high on mountains or deep into forest or even under water and some temples which were easy to find were made in a such a way that makes it difficult to reach god to remind you of the struggles you face in search of truth/god only who continues to move forward dispite the struggle can actually find god/ truth and can have fruit of his/her devotion. This temple is actually an imitation of original vaishnav devi temple (a very famous and important hindu temple) which is located high into mountain in katra, jammu&kashmir
Happy New Year to you both! You must feel very privileged to have met this guy and visit the local attractions. Look forward to watching your future adventures x
I love your Indian adventures as it reminds me that there is such amazing food and traditions and welcome in other cultures which is much freer than this weird place we live in called England! Its an education.
Wow that's sooo wholesome, and the places Jagdish took u to couldn't have been found normally on websites of internet u really need a local for that great video really put. A big smile on my face...

Hi Guys!!happy new year🎉nice to see yous relaxed and enjoying yourselves, such lovely humble people the way they help you, the food looks delish😋loving these videos showing such a fabulous place🫶enjoy this amazing experience, thank you for taking us with you, take care stay safe❤❤
Thank you Liam & Jeanine on sharing with us what Indian Hospitality is all about. On how life is to be cherished and celebrated wirh happiness, songs, dancing and last but not least peacefully and having good and tasty food. I wish i was there to experience this moments of life and thank to you guys for showing what life is all about and celebrate in India. 🙏😊
In India we believe that if you are destined to eat in a prison( land up in a prison for some reason), you go and have food there willingly. This will rewrite your destiny. Good vlog ❤. Keep up the good work 👍.
What a way to start the New Year! Thank you so much for this fascinating and fun video. Hope 2024 is your best yet, lots of love and good health to you both ❤
I so grateful to you Liam & Janine for sharing these uplifting insights into the REAL India 🇮🇳 that tourists would not usually see. It is such a privilege to watch along with you. I feel your videos are like sharing in a beautiful secret! So glad to see you looking well and fully recovered Janine. That little baby you were with at the end was taken with you! ❤ It must be strange to be like celebrities, being the first foreigners to visit places and have people want you to hold their babies and so on!?
@@ThoseHappyDays UK culture is so fiercely protective...maybe *too* protective of babies, it made me wonder if it contributes to the open hearted nature of Indian culture that babies find lots of open arms ready to hold them when they are young?
Glad to come across this video ! Really proud of Jagdish for embodying the spirit of Bharat and sharing a glimpse of our culture & traditions. Well done, lad !
