We are not divided into 3 different nationalities but different (not 3) ethnicities. The main 3 Malay Chinese Indian are the biggest group and there are many other smaller group. In Sabah and Sarawak parts for example, there are more than 100 ethnic/sub ethnic group. All of us share one nationality = Malaysian.
Majority ethnic group in Sarawak is Iban and Kadazan in Sabah. Followed by Malay, then Chinese. We have Melanau, Bidayuh, Kenyah, Kayan etc. in Sarawak and Bajau, Murut etc in Sabah.
Man I love Malaysia One of my cousin brother is working software engineer in Malaysia he always tell me nice stories about Malaysia how diverse is Malaysia 💖💖💖 I wish I could also visit 🇲🇾Malaysia🇲🇾 one day💘💘💘 Lots of love to Malaysia from India🇮🇳 💖💖💖
I'm Italian,i visited Malaysia 3 times,i would love to move and live there with my wife and son.People are very gentle and helpful, when i went there for honeymoon my wife was so surprised...
Btw it is not only Indian Chinese Malay because in Borneo there are many tribes living away from towns or cities. Many in rural areas where they hv lands.
Hi. The Roti you ate was Roti Canai. It was nominated as the 2nd street best and tastiest food in the world. Glad u loved it. Enjoy your stay in Malaysia 🇲🇾
We only got 1 nationality, bro.. We are all Malaysians, but different races, different religions... multicultural & multilanguage... But still, our national language is Malay language, & our country's official religion is Islam.. ❤️🇲🇾
There is no such thing as malay language it's called Bahasa Malaysia because 30% of Bahasa Malaysia is taken from Tamil word and the rest is taken from Chinese, Tagalog, English and smattering from Thai and Arab. Malaysia is a secular nation.
I went to Malaysia when I was 12 a like 5 years back and I really want to go back. Everything about it was perfect. I'm going to Tokyo this year, but next year I'm maybe going to Bangkok. Might be worth taking a quick visit to KL once again!
I love Brickfields (literally "Padang Bata" when I was young and growing up in KL) Brickfields has the world's most diverse collection of Houses of Worship, over 10 different religions or denominations) within one walking distance neighbourhood of about 2 sq. km. Glad you guys enjoyed your stay in this lovely place!
As always, great vlog, Yad and Dace! It's always nice watching you guys' videos because of the fascinating information provided, and locations you both tour/explore. This time, it was great see and learning about the more Indian-influenced part of Malaysia. Top notch videos, always. Your viewers definitely notice the effort that is put in each and every episode. Looking forward to the next videos! Hoping continuous growth for this channel!
Yup - we don't want many nationality here.. Only Malaysian will be accepted as our true bro.. ahh.. ok.. you can be accepted as our bro also but need to stay here longer time... 🙂
Welcome to Malaysia multi racial, tradition religion diversity country, Mainly Malay Chinese n Indian community. That's Paratha wow u r absolutely right about it , Paratha was brought to Malaysia by Indian merchant, here they called it roti canai that's all , absolutely loved yr vlog Have a blessed day
I like how you respect local culture, I hope people in this world are like you yad, kind, friendly, respect any culture, like experience new things, Your pesonality is Amazing, How lucky your family have you..
Brickfields is my hometown!Grew up there brings back memories. The leaves you were feeding the cows are mango tree leaves.Cows love it.Brickfields is also the hometown for Chandran Malaysia's football captain for many years."Alley cats" famous singing band.Asia's best drummer forgot his name. One of the richestman in Malaysia Anandan Krishnan who bought over the former turf club in Jalan Ampang and built the famous twin towers and later incorporated Petronas into it.The famous Australian singer "Kamahl" is also from Brickfields.😇
Oh wow, thank you for sharing its so interesting to hear all the amazing stories about Brickfields, it seems to have some incredible history attached to it. 🙏
Anandan Krishna is a great man..introduced all new high tech stuff into malaysia and south east asia in the 90's back then.. his satelites network become the back bone of south east asia for telecomunication back in the 90's where internet were still at infant stage.. thailand and the rest of south east asia still used his sattelites for satelite tv's to this day... without him malaysia and the rest of south east asia would probably never heard of hollywood or enjoy live sports channel ..
Hi Yad and Dace. Interesting and enjoyable video. Thanks for all the imfo. You made me laugh Yad "never been so close to a cow before" but made me think that ofcourse not everyone lives in rural or farm land. Many years ago in London, I heard a child being asked "where does milk come from?" The child thought about it then said "a bottle" his honest reality. Please continue with what you do and enjoy. All the best from Cath and me. 👍😊
Thank you so much sir because you share your video about content at my "bighome" Malaysia. Welcome in Malaysia , still always will gets feelling your moment hère, enjoy and happy visit the really truely of asia in Malaysia .. sorry sir,my english not good hope you understòd well

🇵🇭💖It seems that the global weather condition is really getting more unpredictable. Interesting place, Little India in Malaysia. I've seen the one in Singapore, a very long time ago. Have a safe travel.🤟👍
It’s rainy season out here, so it’s been raining pretty much every day in the afternoons :( Yes indeed, Little India is a brilliant place to visit when here! Hope you’re well 😊
Very good vlog that will be one of the places I will visit next time I’m in KL ❤ Malaysia the country and different places I ❤️ Kuching my partner is from there and it’s to me anyway Beautiful place to visit and I hope one day I will live 🤞🤞🤞🤞
In Malaysia if u need to ask about Indian food not necessarily you need to ask an Indian, u can ask everyone they will be able to tell you a thing or two 😂😂😂😂, first thing first, what u having is roti paratha or we called roti canai, capati is made with wheat flour made into dough and rolled flat then fried without much oil, then you have thosai which like French crêpe and them you have idiyaappam or we call puttu mayam, then vadai then many many more, ok I hungry now, bye and enjoy our diversity
Be careful when you cross/walk the roads even when the cars aren't moving that much because motorcycles weave fast between cars. At some places motorcycles go in the opposite direction ⚠ example when they want to take shortcuts
idli is made from a dough made of Rice and a kind of lentil they are ground to a paste and steamed to the final shape. It is bland by itself but eaten with Coconut / onion chutney and sambar a spicy veg soup
Malaysian Indian Restaurants.. where you can find Indians, Pakistani & Bangladeshi working under one premise served almost all types of food from the Indian subcontinent
@@YadVenturess only in Borneo are the three majority ethnic groups you find in the Peninsular Malaysia are not the majority. Iban is the majority ethnic group in Sarawak and Kadazan in Sabah. Then Malay, followed by Chinese. Indian is a minority in this part of Malaysia but you can see some influence of the Indian culture in the city. They mostly live in the city area. Tribal people here usually lives in rural areas in protected land we call native land, passed down through generations by our ancestors. Younger generations though, are mostly working in the city and naturally buy houses away from their ancestral land but almost always travel home to their roots during their festive seasons.
Please Sir.. whatever you had for meals or services, do not do any tipping. We don't want to start any tipping culture here. Will be bad for locals eventually. To ask them to keep the change, I guess that's ok. Just saying.
I beg to differ. It is everybody's responsibility to be helpful and nice. When the tipping culture mature and rampant, one day they'll curse you for tipping too little...and one day they would not want to serve locals anymore because generous foreigners like you tip better. Your currency is superior no doubt.
I just stumbled on your video. Most of them say they are 1 nationality, Malaysian, with diverse ethnic races, but they are all Malaysians. Now That's very good! You try asking the clowns in Singapore and they will tell you, they are Chinese, Indians, Malays or Eurasians. Never will you hear the word Singaporean. So much so for the richest country in Asia. So Malaysia keep it up!!!
The indian looks yummy i also love indian we order delivered indian foof here im manila too.the market looks like divisoria.here you can see cow only in the province.take care .😍👍🙏🇵🇭

No need to be guilty I do like butter chicken ( cook myself) luckily here can buy Paratha (frozen) What a shame that no plan for Kota Kinabalu (KK) many sanctuary.. Glad you both enjoyed the melting pot of cultures & food & life & people in Malaysia. Hope you can make it back to Malaysia soon. Thanks for spreading good words on Malaysia. Nice video.
What is idli made from? Idli is a soft, pillowy steamed savory cake made from fermented rice and lentil batter. The lentils used in making the idli batter are urad dal (hulled black gram). Black gram is also known as matpe beans, urad beans. To make idli the off white colored husked/hulled black gram is used - it can be split or whole., sambar, chutney, side dish.. Or sugar 😂
You should also explore nyonya and Peranakan culture and food. It will be a very distinctive and interesting experience for you. Nyonya food is fabulous. You really have to try it!

Haha we are always trying to keep fit by going to the gym as much as possible, and whilst travelling we walk thousands of steps everyday when filming so that helps 😅
Hi from London guys! My husband and I are planning our next Easter holidays and I just found your videos, We've been watching a few in a row now! We wanted to ask you, what is the top place you guys recommend travelling to? we have 10 days and we were thinking of Thailand or Cambodia but are worried about all the stories about food poisoning around?
No need to worry, just googled it... Surely you will find what you looking for... ;) 10 days might sufficient for few places n mostly around KL n Selangor. But depends on your style of travel too, either urban or jungle. Here's my list for you n by the way I'm Malaysia. 1. KL city centre including: a. Petronas Twin Towers b. KL Towers & Eco Rimba ( Jungle in the heart of KL ) c. Jalan Alor night market - foods n more d. Bukit Bintang area ( BBCC ) e. National museum, national mosque & art gallery f. Independence Square, Bird parks & lakes garden g. Shopping haven : The pavilion, the curve, Bandar Utama shopping centre, Bandar Sunway - Sunway pyramid, Suria KLCC n more h. Batu Caves - Hindu shrine & Chinese temple i. Genting Highland - indoor and outdoor park activities with high hill climate ( out of KL area ) j. Taman Negara Pahang - Deep Jungle activity k. Cameron Highlands - tea n strawberry n more l. Penang - food haven & beaches If you want to reach more places, 30 days might not be sufficient coz according to a travel RU-vidrs, 180 days only cover half of peninsular of Malaysia. Not to say Malaysia Borneo in the east part of Malaysia ;) Anyway, I n our Malaysian citizen would love to welcome you guys in advance. ;)
They brought the cow to celebrate the Ponggul festival the following days. It's a harvest festival celebrated in middle of January generally by South Indian specifically by Tamils. The culture followed when they migrated here.
I visited Malaysia in December 2022 and was there is in this area called Brickfields. I like the area with vibrant food stalls, music and clothing shops. Gulf countries are full of Malyalis and Malaysia and Singapore full of Tamils.
