You may laugh at this comment. I watch most all the videos of the GoodGood group. I am 72 and a retired golfer with an 8 handicap. I have looked carefully at your swings to see what I might incorporate in my swing. Thanks Grant for the excellent instructional lessons. My son hooked me onto you RU-vid videos. I love golf. Enjoy your comraderie with each other. Love how you all bang that ball off the tee. I wish I was 50 years younger and do what you all do. Keep it up.

Get your hands ahead, clean your grooves every time before you play, buy the right type of golf ball for your game, get fitted for the right bounce and grind for your wedges and buy new wedges when grooves get old. Easy stuff. What do u think there’s a magic trick to it?

Hi/low hands in relation to your body at the finish of your swing and where in the swing to release your hands - or at all. This controls trajectory and spin assuming you make great contact everytime.

Tig and Grant have a good dynamic working together. In fact, it comes across at times that Grant is the only Good Good member that Tig actually likes.

Until you try to watch his clubhead closely like I did in this video, and realize it's moving so fast it becomes invisible.
@PongGod
@PongGod 2 года назад
@@DnDAnalysis No doubt he's got that clubhead moving fast because it has to for the ball to travel so far. It's just that he can generate such clubhead speed without any sign of straining. Makes it look so easy.

Love these. I’d like to see a vid go out with EVERYTHING to consider when reading a putt. Grain, water, how to play double breakers, putting to an apex, general putting tips, potentially benefits of slightly forward press, etc. seems like a quick and easy vid but I feel a lot of people just step up and see which way the green is going and just hit it and hope it gets close. Bubbie would also be a great value add for part of the video that could go into putting from off the green aka Texas Wedge. A lot of people get the chipping yips so seeing someone proficient with putting from chipping distance would be good. Love the channel

One thing that has helped me out a lot if you're still struggling to hit up on the ball is really feeling like you're swinging out to the right. The more you swing to the left the more down you'll be swinging on the ball and vice versa. Also make sure youre turning the face down in your takeaway if you hitting huge slices with the driver. Helped me a ton, perhaps it can help someone else too.
@carterquinn212
@carterquinn212 Год назад
Yes. When I’m hitting my driver poorly, it’s usually because I’m swiping across the ball, and I have to make a conscious effort to feel more like I’m pushing the driver face out in front of me instead of swiping across it.

Hey guys! Videos are super helpful! Just getting visuals on the adjustments I need to make in my swing seriously make it a lot easier. Would like to see a video on the use of wedges in different situations. (Approach shots, bunker shots, shots from the fairway, from the rough etc.) Would just be helpful to see how each club should be used in different scenarios. Thanks!

Great stuff guys! Would be interesting to see a lesson on club release and the feels/thought process of that. I know you worked on Matts early release a bit and how he hits his irons so high and doesn't get that penetrating ball flight, well there are a couple of us that have the same issue :) so it would be really interesting to see your take on it. Keep up the good work on the videos!

Thanks fellas! Love your vids and what I’m learning from them. Comment for future videos. My swing is all over the place and y’all have given some great pointers but there are so many and I get into information overload and frustrated on where to start. I would appreciate a video that serves as a sort of step by step guide to where we should start, based on the instructional videos you have released and if there is a progression we should be following… For example, I logically think starting with and mastering the grip is a first step. It makes sense. Where do I go from there? Should I start trying to hit fades and draws, or is there another fundamental I should work on next. Don’t know if this necessitates an actual video but I think some kind of index of your instructional vids would be tremendously helpful. Section 1. Wtf is golf and how do I swing a club properly Section 2. Now that you’re not a n00b here’s some things to help make you better Section 3. You’re a baller on the course, these things will make your friends jealous. Thanks guys!

I would like to see another putting video. The one with Claire didn’t really dive in very deep on the putting stroke. I would like to know more about the geometry of the path my putter should take and the mechanics needed to achieve this. A few checkpoints when I’m standing over the ball would be great. I started over quarantine and I’ve noticed my putting changes a lot. I have periods where I get hot but eventually I accidentally develop a new habit

I will have to try this next range session. Went to the simulator the other day and all my irons and even into my 3 wood I was hitting it solid. Driver was a different story. Spinning 4500, club path -8ish and attack angle in the -2 to -3 range so I know cutting across the ball and hitting down was my issue I just wasn't sure how to fix it. This video should help!

Am I the only one admiring the girl's swing in the background? I just hope my little ones have swings close to that (or even the interest in golf) at that age. Oh, and as always, AWESOME content Grant! After watching this, something that I struggle with is "stability". My setup is naturally like Tig's, but once I start loading, to avoid a reverse pivot, my head moves off the ball (Tig's does as well by the look of it). After moving off, I either stay back without shifting properly, causing a complete around the body type swing just pulling it straight left or when I do have a good weight shift, I still seem to then smother the ball somewhat, also going left. The days I'm hitting it well, it feels as if my body is rock solid and even if you kick me in my go-nads, you won't be able to move me, but I cannot seem to replicate that solid feeling every time I play.
