The tidbit about people getting injured in other places when already injured is true, or at least it appears to be an automatic human response to protect a part that is weak or injured in situations where they could be injured again.

Hi Norm - great vid! I live in Cyprus and over here rental cars have red number plates so that we know that they are likely being driven by tourists - people driving unfamiliar vehicles on unfamiliar roads tend to do crazy things like suddenly slamming on the brakes, forgetting which side of the road they should be on, going the wrong way around one way systems etc. Easy to identify, we know to take extra care when driving near them!

Wow. Fun. I used to do this for my friends when we lived in Osaka. We called them mystery tours. Get prepared at Orange House and then get on bikes and follow me. We always had a great time and they never knew what we would do

I went to Hokkaido in Nov for the first time and bought the same jacket as Sam. Small world. Jacket was great and plan on visiting Hakodate again next Nov so it will come in handy again.

yes when you get an injury in a certain way, you try to avoid it by doing weird motions. i fell off bicycles and injured both my wrist badly. the last time i fell off, instead of rolling and risk injuring my wrist, i tried to stop my forward motion but hard hit on my kneecap.

My aunt (a Japanese citizen) rented our car in Hokkaido. As a result we did not have the "Foreign Driver" sticker nor the stop sign reminder in our car. I absolutely would have appreciated both! Lesson learned, next time I will rent the car!

The whole falling thing with an injured hand is true. I had some tendons and two digital nerves reconnected in my right hand. While I was still in the cast after surgery, I fell in the bathroom and ended up falling on my elbows which ended up leaving a bruise. Protect your hands, trust me, 40 stitches and 21 weeks of pt is not fun lol

Well you keep making me comment to new things. That vhs c camera looks like a new fangled upgrade to the one I had. There was no monitor. You had to red, yellow, white cord mine to the tv. I really need to convert those videos. Yes I was big Gaijin walking around with a video camera in 90s Japan

Wider lens And most importantly; no moving parts The action 3 would be broken in the first hour of use with me lol If I can’t jam it in my pocket and pull it out instantly ready to shoot, it’s not worth the time for me. Might as well just use my full camera rug at that point

In today's episode, Norm invites his college friends to his hometown and tells them to trust him completely on activities and other things. Jokes aside though, that was such a fun watch. I'd been laughing since the start at the uncertainty on Luke's face (as well as wondering if he didn't feel cold).
