I own a 98 years old house in a rural village in Spain. It was built by my great grandpa (I never met him) but it also was my grandma's home. I'll keep it until the day I pass away (which is something that I don't plan to happen soon). I hope it can survive at least another century without being demolished or abandoned.
Norm, I love this, I can't imagine going through a tunnel to school. Did you turn on the lights are they just running? Also, may I recommend wearing an N95 when going through abandoned buildings?
Norm walking with the stick reminded me of Renge from Non Non Biyori. "It's not a stick! The weight, the branch-like shape.. It's obviously the legendary sword!" 😄 Norm just didn't know he was wielding it! But I feel like the kids going to school there had the same imaginations. That view of the mountains after you walked out the tunnel was just breathtaking!
This was SO beautiful! Especially that walk down to the waterfall. I was to live in those woods like Radagast and his army of woodland critters. I really love these early morning adventures, it’s so peaceful to watch and listen to. I wish I could see it for myself, but until then I’ll be happy to live vicariously through you. the ting that always surprises me in these abandoned building exploration videos is the amount of stuff that is in still good condition just, left there. Or the ones where the building is literally falling apart and yet the power is still on. Or that one I saw the other day, they were exploring an abandoned prison, they found a section the power was still on, and it led to this room with a ladder that lead up to a service closet and the door out of that closet, lead into...a still in use probation office.
I think that if I had been here with my darling wife we would have been so taken with it. Must find Master Haku! As it stands we had fun watching you explore for us all. Love those lights and colours. The actual room itself was actually very sweet too.
Omg, what a gorgeous place to stay! Adding this one to my list of places to visit in Japan. 🙌 It's definitely got Ghibli vibes. Those stairs up the mountain had me so worried you'd take a tumble though. 😅 So relieved you got back down safely.
