It's really not this simple in practice. Also, as it's one connected "tube" I've found no reason to do one side, then the other, as it can be challenging to keep air from escaping as you swap. The "easiest" method I've found this far (besides using a fan) is to hold an open end over your head, keeping one side closed with the bag draping behind you, then run quickly for a short sprint and quickly close. We've had to roll it quite a bit to get it sufficiently tight, and even then with a 60 lb kid on it the air doesn't seem to last all that long. We know people with less expensive bags with 2 separate sides that are easier to inflate and hold longer.
I absolute agree this video does a poor job of showing the inflation process. As everyone said it is much more difficult. Have been trying for over 45 minutes, 7 different people, and it is still not inflated. I am going to have to return this as the process should not be this difficult.
Fake video. Mine came band new and the inner plastic bags weren't fastened into it and folding the ends over them doesn't work. Had to use buttloads of duct tape and the bloody thing still doesn't inflate very much.
