The absolute best Pho I've had was here in Toronto, I believe the restaurant was called Super 7. It was basically this same beef sate with peanut butter, crushed peanuts on top, believe it or not it also had chunks of pineapple in it as well! I still crave it after all these years. I think I'll have to try making it for myself and the family this weekend!
Made this today after hitting a great Asian market in Calgary. Had to sub ground cinnamon and added an extra 1/2 tsp of Better than Bouillon paste for a slighter fuller flavour. THANK YOU Quang! Better than many local restaurants’ versions.
I had it a lot when I was in Calgary and I loved it! I can’t find this noodle in Little Saigon in Vancouver. I guess it might be a new Alberta delicacy. Thank you for the simplified recipes! I’ll go to Vietnamese supermarket in Little Saigon to get all the ingredience.
Oh yay! Another Pho video. My favorite. I love that your Pho is hearty. The places I usually go to is more brothy and I always want to request more meat and noodles.
Youre awesome! My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Toronto called Saigon Palace had this and it was my favorite meal until they closed down some 15 years ago. Now I can make it myself...usually I throw in Hoisen sauce a couple of tomato slices and peanuts.

I’d like to meet the famous Quan and you cook me up some food. I been learning how to cook from your food and gotta hand it to you, digging your cooking. You need a cooking channel!

In my opinion, Quang is slacking quite a bit in his videos. He’s making ‘easy’ quick recipes and using pre-made ingredients. I rarely see him make a feast anymore from scratch. I’ll always support Quang, but he definitely can step up his food game
