Garrisoning towers or the capital are key elements of guaranteeing victory in State of Survival. Attacking is all fun and games, but what happens if you're not able to keep hold of the buildings you just attacked?

No one even cared to go for it cause our opposing state was super strong compared to us but you know that means more points for us cause towers means more points and less healing. So prefered this than 8 hours of fighting for cap

Awesome vid! And if you still are NOT SURE - you just play with Queen and learn how she garrisons & defend a fully maxed player with 320% troop attack even. 😉 (see battle reports on Jump server for details).

at our svs fight they used nikola roxy and joker and we had a very hard time defending and our leads had beter stats but still lose capital building but in tower the same leads needed 2 more rallies to kick us out. was very confusing so we just giveup

How about the other joiners, should they use their attack formation when garrisoning, or should we send people back after occupying and ask them to send their garrison formation

No. Joiner heroes do not matter at all except for the protection buff. Daryl is the best here and every gen 3+ hero has the same value (if first skill level is 5). I think it’s practically impossible to let everyone switch formations constantly so I wouldn’t bother there, just send reinforcements after the initial attack

Nope. Not necessarily for the heroes. Only for refreshing troops

We fought state 185. Best defence I've seen. Ate 3 rallies from our strongest players which all landed within 2 seconds . They changed leader before hits and reins all timed perfectly Nikola and Roxy were the choice

As long as her skills are 5-5-5 it is good enough as a garrison hero as your rally attack leader will provide the stats :)

Jump, for the garrison setup, does the rank of the defensive hero matter? For example, is a 2-star ranked Roxie worse than a General ranked Roxie?

so if i'm understanding correctly, if you're Garrison leader, your heroes stats do not matter, unless you also happen to be the strongest in the tower?

For a garrison leader the stats do not matter, just heroes and plane. GL and statgiver should never be the same person, because the strongest stat heroes are almost always not the right garrison heroes. (no potential behemoth stuff taken in account)

So if I understand correctly, you're saying that the garrison leader should use Hank, joker and Roxy. While the person with the highest plasma research sends their best heroes for it to take their highest stats?

Also are these the best heroes for defending? If yes, what are other backup heroes if the leader doesn't have these maxed? Also, what about joiners? What are the best heroes for them to use?

Garrison leader: not necessarily those heroes. It depends on your generation. For example: gen 5 should go with Nikola-Roxy-Joker. (Check out the Kratos server for more) Stat giver should send best heroes always.

Joiners doesn’t matter. Only thing joiner heroes do is giving a protection buff to its own troops. Every gen 3+ hero gives a 5% value. Only Daryl gives 7%. Make sure he is lead hero. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zdYb0c5r5s4.html more context regarding joiner bonus

I am surprised to see still so many guys spending and playing. Look at old states and you know what happens with your "invest". Otherwise nice Video. We have Best results with Hank, roxy and Joker (Gen10). But its never possible to defend against whales. Thats why there is jo cc fight, fortress fight, svs fight and so on. Its just a waste of time to fight against whales
