I’m honestly not sure what else it could beside adrenal disease. My Ruby had the same systems and it was adrenal. They removed her infected gland and her vulva went back to normal and her hair grew back. She been amazing ever since. I would get a second opinion. I also highly recommend messaging Ruby from the Rayne.Ferrets on IG. She has a lot of experience with ferret illnesses. She may know of something other than adrenal disease that has those symptoms. @reinalizhernandez9402 I’m so sorry. I hope you get some answers. Is your ferret spayed? If not, it could be persistent estrus, but looking online that only occurs in females that are not spayed . The swollen vulva is a classic sign of adrenal and in combination with hair loss,I just can think of what else it could be. Did your vet have any ideas or are they gonna do any other testing? Sometimes bloodwork doesn’t show things and an x-ray or ultrasound is recommended.
