I've been waiting for someone to make this guide! Gear was my biggest issue because everyone was showing guides on how to farm it, but not which characters get what equipment. Thank you so much for making this!

@@peanutbutter5143 I see. Thanks. Still... It's a bit interesting that Josh is one of the few people I've seen who fully explains their gear choice. I mean, after going trough the damage and CC formulas on 7DS Redit I undestood what makes ATK and HP sets/substats so important, but most RU-vidrs just keep repeating to use them without properly explaining why. For example: Why always use 3 ATK sets and 1 HP set when HP sets give twice as much CC? It seems reasonable to put ATK sets on DPS characters, but from my perspective, if you have multiple support/utility characters, it seems more advantageos to run at least 2 HP sets. Especially for 4th slot characters like Gilthunder who might not even get into the fight. And why go 100% ATK substats on Jericho? Couldn't a mix of ATK and Crit Damage substats increase her damage potential even further for the Guild Boss? Or is this gear guide specifically for PvP, and no other mode? Not saying this is bad advice. I'm still new to the game, but from the research I've done his advice seems much more solid than JoshVerse, at the very least for PvP. But if you don't properly explain your reasoning, it's difficult to make informed decisions.
@@joaomarcoscosta4647 JoshVerse is well known for "stealing" informations from different Discord servers and claiming it to be his own ones. He is doing that for months for several mobile gacha games. ;)

Guys even tho ur fav RU-vidr might start playing grand cross and make guides for the game u should probably check with someone else who has been playing the game for a while (like a jp player per say) before following their guides since it's pretty easy to give out mis information if their just starting to get into the game

Glad i saw this when i did, ive built up a crit chance set for my green jerico to help get to max crit faster but if you say atk+ crit dam is the way to go ill save myself a headache later on. Very nice vid, thanks

Hey DSgaming, Thanks a lot for this video. It has helped me see the real damage my units can do. I have a question, though. Does the positioning of the gear really matter? Like you showed us that in the top 2 rows it should be defense and attack and the bottom 2 rows should be hp. Do they have be exactly in thoses rows or could I put them in different positions and still have the same buffs?
welp so far ive got the gericho and blue king sets down. the rest is new info for me. good to know there is a norm for this gearing stuff that i can follow
Thank you for the information bro. Seriously is helpful and has gotten me grinding for the right gear for my sets lately. But A quick question. What about placement of gear? if that makes sense. LIke, I see you have played the top four on each side to have the attack damage set, and the bottom two to have the defense set and what not. is that the most effective way in terms of sets? Or does it not matter? Because currently I have my top and bottom two for my attack set, and the middle two, the earrings and Necklace, I got for my defense set and what not. Just was curious. Very informative vid!! How about for red arthur? He gets crit chance from merlin as an association hero and his ult has sever, is going attack crit dmg gear too much?
Man that’s crazy. My team currently has like 2 atk def and 2 hp def sets. I never actually thought to run 3 atk def sets especially with just king having the hp def but I am running green meli so that still works right? This isn’t just for pvp is it? Though even with the aggressive stance you have it’s actually making me sub because I can tell you’re pretty passionate about this
I have an important question about the Substat for howzer green elihawk and weinheidt. So i heard that pen works really good for them so i rerolled 3 c gears with high pen substats. Should i also Switch them to attack or is this fine for them (The gear is atk def of course)

The first ever unit I farmed hard to get was godspeed Jericho, and causs I don't have crit damage gear I used crit chance and attack gear, I got full affinity with vanya so I can buy SSR Onslaught gear when I'm not broke
Hey, love your vids! Pretty new player here. Should I just put my resources into and focus on building like 6 sets of atk/def gear and 1 set of HP/def gear. Then just transfer the gear between characters? My equipment stash is getting super full right now.

I'm still experimenting with crit chance in PVP jericho. yes I know Jericho has built in crit chance, but she never survive long enough to grind that crit chance and often sniped, so the idea is you burst as much as you can while she's alive
