The instructions for newer SHF is printed on both sleeves of the box. So you have to cut open the other side. It is like this with most of the figures now. Ex Trunks Luffy LSJ Goku this nami. Great video!!

the instructions for the faceplates would be on the other flap of the box, might be the case for most SHF's actually, which is weird, would mean bandai expects you to open the box from both sides? lol.
