I don't want heroes, I'm f2p player and i can't upgrade heroes, the game is very difficult for me, but the developers doesn't listen, they don't notice that the game is falling apart and a lot of players are leaving the game

Another great video! I didn’t know joker was decent at level 3! I’m so glad to hear that as mine is only 3. I’m gonna start using him more and res him with cardini 😼

Even usable as level 2, but only as garrisoning hero. For rally and attacking he really needs to be 3. The stat retain boost would be too low at 2 😄

You said Daryl’s special ability is useless. Additional march speed is very useful in FF, RR and CC - in that order. I have him at level 5 and never lose first occupancy races in FF (albeit, we have a no solo rule in our state, so I’m not competing against anyone who would use march accelerators).

I understand your reasoning behind this. At the time, upgrading him to level 5 was pretty expensive. Worthless is maybe a wrong term. I personally don’t think it’s worth the price/reward ratio, if that makes sense!

@@JUMP if you got him when the oasis event was on, you could get enough frags for free to resonate him to level 5 or above. Mine is at level 5 and I didn’t buy any bundles

So we tested Lv3 Mikoto vs Lv4 Daryl and even with 75% stat retention, Mikoto is like 4x better on dealing damage while Daryl is definitely better at protection. I would recommend using Mikoto in your rallies and sending Daryl instead when you're just going to garrison.

Hey Lyndi. I strongly disagree. Even in an attack rally you want protection. Daryl will outperform Miko any day of the week

So G7 is in my state. As you said in the video Magnus outperforms Wacko. What heroes do you suggest a rally leader to use when in capital fight. Resonated heroes with G7s or just G7 heroes in capital fight? Skills>Rank??

Hey! I’m on gen 7 myself. I prefer Magnus/Joker (ideally resonated with Cardini or strongest stat rider hero) Daryl (ideally resonated with Grimm or strongest stat hunter hero). Still trying formations, but according to Kratos team 65/10/25 for both attack and garrison. Switch Daryl for Roxy when garrisoning!

how about just uprading/or focus on powers of first and second march slots heroes? will that help?

Hey Samantha! Really depends on your playstyle. Heroes do not matter that much if you are F2P when joining rallies. Most heroes, but Daryl offer a 5% troop protection boosts in rallies. When attacking/being attacked (settlement) heroes do matter ofcourse. On my F2P alt, I tend to focus on heroes, which I know are good longterm (Roxy, Hank, Tweak, …) Focussing on first and second slot is okay, but you’ll constantly have to upgrade heroes due to State of Survival releasing new generations every three months. As F2P, it’s impossible to upgrade all of those. Some heroes don’t need a full upgrade as well. Tweak is perfect example of this. Just need his first talent to use him for trap! I hope this helps you a little bit!

I thought that Mikoto has slightly higher overall skills in the old ballet engine, compared to Dayrl?

Nope. Overall skill effect from Daryl is 110%. Miko only 80!

I honestly doubt it. The license ended the 28th of February and as far as I’m aware it wasn’t extended 😫 Same story for Daryl. But you never know!

Level 2 could be usable in garrison lead in my opinion. For actual rallying and attacking you’ll need to get him to level 3!

What does "round" mean when describing their skills?

Every battle in SoS consists of rounds. When you’re in a new battle engine environment, you have the battle button on your reports. Rounds are simulated there. Everytime you see troops dying, each moment is a round. Does that make sense?

You said there’s no point upgrading wacko above level 4 resonance? But shouldn’t his special ability help with Trap, Underground Exploration, aircraft missions and other seasonal PvE events?

In addition to trap. His skills are activated pretty late in rounds. Trap usually doesn’t go as far, which makes Wacko less valuable on trap

@@JUMP I’m not talking about his three normal skills. I’m talking about his resonance skill which gives you overwhelming damage in PvE. This is not affected by rounds. It should make a big difference in Trap, Underground and Aircraft missions, so long as you have him as your leader.

Not even sure if it works the way it is displayed. If you want to have a higher infected boost, you might as well use Nikola. Think his is higher than a maxed Wacko (level 7). For trap, you’ll still do more damage with Nanami as infantry hero… I find it difficult to defend a maxed Wacko pricewise as his special skill only works on non-human targets anyways (so no PVP). For underground I think it would add extra value I think. But, again not sure where Wacko’s special skill works and where not. Choice is up to you ofc :)

I would have like to know if its good or bad to use resonating heroes when they are only lvl 1, 2 or 3? But you mostly talk about lvl 4 and up.

The only hero that’s usable below level 4 is Joker. I wouldn’t go under level 3 if you’re attacking/rallying. For garrisoning (defending a tower or capital) you can try to use level 2. All other heroes are worse than regular heroes under that level :)

I have wacko on lvl 4 and Hank is 3 star now so if I resonate wacko with Hank which one is better to use? Hank or wacko?

Hank 10000%. Wacko is done after gen 6. Best to use Hank separately. Don’t resonate with Wacko. Even for showdown or raid it wouldn’t make a difference

I have wacko, Kira, Miko, and Chloe. 3 are 4 star and Kira is 6star. Can someone point me to a resource that will help on resonating these heroes? Thanks.

It all depends on your generation tbh. Would recommend joining the discord server and checking some stuff out. Tons of videos on formations on here as well and ranking videos on heroes. In general, wacko and miko are usually pretty bad unless the inf hero of that gen is even worse. Chloe is very mediocre. Kira is god tier. Take your time and feel free to shout on discord :)

Hey Mazey! Really depends what you want to do with them. As a rally leader you’ll want Joker as high as possible, but is usable as level 2 in garrison lead, level 3 is usable for attack. Wacko you would really want at level 4. Wouldn’t go further. Miko is an okay replacement for Daryl in RR and showdown, but enough at level 4 as you only want the 100% stat retain boost. I don’t think their special talents are worth upgrading further!

i resonance-paired Chloe and Maddie... so why is Chloe's POWER only 1/3 of Maddie's?... i also tried pairing Chloe with Travis... and they have the same power... as i thought it should be with all riders with Chloe... am i missing something here?

Because you need to have your resonating heroes at level 4 minimum to keep the 100 percent stats. It is different for purple heroes, but for the gold ones they need to have that level
