5:20 Fun Fact: That was on Jericho's very own cruise ship/wrestling show and the crowd is singing his entrance song that he wrote and performed as the lead singer of his band Fozzy. Moreover, that started the crowd singing his song at every event after that even though he was a heel at the time. That man can do no wrong.

I was at the United Center when CM Punk returned. The atmosphere was amazing. It was definitely an experience.

That Punk return in Chicago will go down in history, it gives me goosebumps to this day and it will be many years from now on to even get close to that crowd reaction.

CM Punk's was one of the best pops in the history of wrestling. Period. EVER. What an incredible return.

Seems like this is an older video from around 2019-2020. Most of the “largest crowd reactions” in the company’s history happened relatively recently 2021-2022. There were definitely a few good ones in here though. Hopefully you can watch an updated version at a later date since you’re hopping down this wrestling rabbit hole

That was indeed Christian in one of the clips. He's actually doing pretty great at the moment as he recently started doing promos where he says some quite outrageous stuff such as talking about people's dead parents. One of my favorite lines recently is when he told Matt Hardy "You're making your brother look like the sober one" in reference to Jeff Hardy being arrested for DUI and being sent to rehab.

that "arena" you said is class, was their old home venue. it was right outside the jacksonville jaguars arena. the first 2 years of AEW the shows were there.

One Major Idea: Vince McMahon moments... now that he's retired (under a cloud of allegations, but still) Two follow-up suggestions: 1 - Jon Moxley, particularly his promo's vs Eddie Kingston, MJF, Kenny Omega, Return from Alcohol Clinic etc (see the difference between him and his scripted WWE time) 2 - Danhausen, both AEW and his previous ROH and Indies run, guy built most of his fanbase on people who'd never seen him wrestle

The one you said was class, was Daily's place they were stuck in during the pandemic for 14 months or so (it's outside the Jacksonville Jaguars stadium) and that was the first show they had the whole place opened up for a PPV/Show

I was there live for Punk's return, it was even louder in the Arena. And it wasn't just that there, the whole building had been chanting for Punk through the pre-show as well, long before the cameras were rolling.

they had episodes at biggish venues before covid hit us. they usually had these episodes at daily's place during the pandemic but they moved it back to bigger venues once pandemic subsides

my favorite crowd reactions was the nxt debut of Shinsuke Nakamura, and the AEW debuts of Adam Cole, Bryan Danielson, and Keith Lee

The reason Kenny Omega's kick out at 1 to the double knee strike is because that was his signature tag move with Kota Ibushi in NJPW and the Bucks used it to try and win the match so instead of knocking him out, it just really pissed him off.

Funny enough at the 11:00 mark, the guy you said needs to chill out is known as Brock Lesnar Guy. A long time ago the camera caught him overreacting to a Brock Lesnar entrance and since then he wears the same shirt and constantly looks for the camera trying to make it all about him and his reactions lol.

Sting's AEW debut got a pretty huge reaction and only half the arena was full because they were still taking covid measures, but even then it was a loud ass reaction.

One fascinating thing about the Punk return was that it was all a rumour. Neither side ever confirmed his return and managed it so that the hype was generated purely on a rumour that he had signed and was going to return. All those people bought tickets hoping it was true, but has no guarantees whatsoever

You should watch AEWs production team video for punks return. whether you record it or not up to you but it takes your to the backstage look at it and seeing how they called all the camera cuts and when to hit certain marks to make that return as great as it was.

Adam, great video as ever, and I agree the CM Punk return was absolutely electric. I would definitely look into the Adam Cole/Bryan Danielson debut as well from All Out, that was really great too. Also, I was at a playoff hockey game once before that got about as loud as that CM Punk moment, and I'll tell you, my ears were ringing for days after it was over. But it was absolutely worth it.

Two things in aew that i could never forget first punk's debut But most importantly the debut of jon moxley. He was the first guy to do so and after beating the living shit of omega he went on to cut an underrated promo that is relevant to this day. Go and check the paradigm shift promo by moxley. That sounds so poetic now. And these two moments especially moxley's, i won't forget.

BECAUSE IT IS THE BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He deserves to be the only one on the video!!!!!
