This video made my day! I was born in Kazakhstan but left it when I was 4, since then I’m living in Europe and currently 5 years in Prague. It was good to see at least a small part of the country I was born from perspective and learn something new. Now I know that someday I will go there and see the beauty by myself.
No tak, the Czechs from Czechstan, now in Kazakhstan! Interesting combination, SUPER! Greetings from Romania, pardon Rumunstan! PS. Ha, ha..."Jak se mas?", there is no way to miss this question! V kazdem pripade, sympaticke videjko, moc se mi libilo! LAJCIK, pochopitelne!
Its so funny what Borad did to Kazakstan! What is the first thing that comes up to mind of 99% of non-Kazak people when someone mentiones 'Kazakstan'?? Borat!! The legacy of this movie will last 100 years- true testament of Sasha Baron Cohen's genius..... and I really and truly feel sorry for the the country he randomly picked:)
Scenery was otherworldly. Honza, you might like to watch the opening scene from the movie: "Aguirre, the Wrath of God" directed by Werner Herzog. Looks like you all had a very high and fun time there.
Awesome, my mom's Russian and grew up in Kazakhstan. We visited relatives their when I was a child and its always a funny story to tell people (now in Germany) “yes so you know I have been to Kazakhstan " :D
*well, there is so much wrong in your fun facts section:* How can a British comedian be from the country he has never been to? Also even if you meant just a person associated to Kazakhstan, it's still not Sasha. At least it's not definite. There are lots of Dimash fans from China, for example. I think you are misleading people on purpose. Tajikistan has no borders with Kazakhstan. It's not Kazaki, it's Kazakh Also, for instance, Mongolia's population density is less than the one in Kz, so it's a miss again If you wanna know my opinion, I didn't like the mocking tone about my country. It's ok to put a music and bring up Borat as a joke, even to give the wrong facts on purpose. But you mixed them with the reality, so people might think everything is correct. But I'm still glad you had a good impression about Kazakhstan.
Albert, really sorry, I did not do it on purpose! I still believe Sasha is someone who made Kazakhstan really famous. I never mocked your country. I had a great impression of the country, absolutely not of the people.
@@TimesWithJames There is similar issues in Ukraine as well, but Kazakstan has more widespread corruption. Kiev changed their full policeforce a couple a years ago, Chernobyl is not in the Kiev oblast so I guess that is why you noticed corruption there. I was in Chernobyl last month and had no issues.
Felix yeah we stayed in Kiev and took a 2 hour bus up. Kiev is a gorgeous city. I made a film about the Patriotic War museum and the city, then a feature on the Chernobyl disaster. Always a tricky one as it’s so complicated!
everybody knows it!.... but its just too hard to resist:) Sorry, I think next three or four generations of Kazakstanis will have to learn to live with it
@@yedigemagavin1694 "the borat movie is the most offensive movie" - I totally agree! But unfortunately for Kazakstan, its super funny. " great west is so proud of it being better and more rightful than the other people. The land of hypocrites."- I think you are overthinking it;)
@@letecmig nah, I'm just tired of western narrative of equality and tolerance... But then they shove the borat movie down my throat, while saying "Its funny". It's not if you're on the receiving end.
@@yedigemagavin1694 I would recommend to relax a bit: other Sasha Borat Cohen's movies/charactres: Bruno-'austrian gay icon' or Ali G-suburban englishman with delusion of being black rapper,,,,, his humor is just very offensive. I feel with Kazakstan, but he just randomly picked little known country as a 'birthplace' of his character Borat. It could have been Belarus or Paraguay or Laos .....That is the whole story. As I wrote, I really and truly feel sorry for Kazakstan and I understand that is super unfair, but just do not overthink it:):)
Greenland has by far the lowest human population density. Mentioning Australia, another predominantly-English-speaking country with the same figure is Canada (about one half of that of Kazakhstan) while Falkland Islands are the second lowest although still ten times higher than Greenland…
Enjoying the video clip and you have done an incredible job on the edit! If you have time let me know what you think of my latest video just need some feedback! 😃
