I waited to watch this movie because of all the negative reviews and comments. Well, I finally watched it, and I absolutely loved it. It is a shame that tik tokers built a campaign of hate against JLo for who knows what reason. It is sad that so many people, especially WOMEN, attack and diminish her work. I bet 99% of them didn’t watch the movie. It’s a sweet film with a beautiful message. The film is visually stunning, and it’s obvious how hard everyone worked on this project. The choreography, the set design, the costumes. Bravo to everyone involved in this film.

I said the same thing. A bunch of narcissistic personalities on "TikTok" (which is why I've avoided it strongly for years) and most of them are obviously Gen-Z, meaning they didn't even grow up when J.Lo was in her prime like many of us did (late 90s/early 2000s). Just like when they all used TikTok to clown her bodega order video. They didn't understand that she was young in the Bronx like in the 80s and early 90s. An entirely different generation. When the whole obvious smear campaign on the internet was going on a few months ago, I kept saying the same thing. That many of these sht-talkers with absolutely no life and loads of miserable time on their greasy hands were all just clearly jumping on a bandwagon. Many of them were noticeably either whte or blk, too. So I also sensed a racial resentment in their sentiment.

This thing Jen put together is like a mashup of a music vid and a mini-movie-hard to pin down, but who cares when it's this good? There's singing, acting, and dancing, and she's telling bits of her own story. If you've been through the whole love-heartbreak rollercoaster, this hits home. Plus, it's packed with tracks from her latest album, so if you like Jennifer's music, you're in for a treat. ❤❤ Also, as other people mentioned, she foot the bill for this and she absolutely bet on herself. She put herself out there and I love that part the most. How many of us would bet on ourselves and do something even if we are scared? We don't need millions to do it. On that note - the documentary about the making if this was also great - she got a lot of people saying no to her and she still said f it and did it. 👏👏❤

J-Lo: I just finished watching the whole thing and for the first time in my life I'm writing something like this. You DID move me. Once more you have proven to the world (and to yourself) you are an artist of EPIC proportions. Someone called it a vanity project, yet I think this required a creative process that exposes your heart and soul. Not too many people have the guts to reflect on themselves, to keep believing, and to act consequently on it. You deserve to be happy. You will be even happier. Life is awesome, especially when people like you open their hearts and transform that openness into art. LOVED the visual reference in Hummingbird to "singing in the rain". Musically you have grown immensely along your search. Your lyrics are more profound. and the cast! OMG. Another creative slap to what's considered traditional and standard. GENIUS! Is this a movie?, a documental? a musical? I don't care! It's J-lo in its prime. Kudos to you for this and for all your work. Wow, how far does she have to go to convince herself that Ben is "The One" and that everything will be ok now. Unfortunately he always looks like a person who is being dragged into it by force. I just watched this. This short film is amazing!!! 😂😂😂I’m not a big Jennifer Lopez fan, but she did an incredible job with this film. It’s so entertaining. She put all of her talents together in this film and she did it well. The visuals are so good!! There’s a little vibe of her movie The Cell on this one, I thought.
