It’s like you guys don’t understand basketball. You know how easy it is to guard a team with players who can’t create they own shot. If Ant played like a role player we would be a lottery team. The difference is Ant needs to learn when to take those shots and when to find teammates But You don’t just stop taking the shots. Like even in this video you can clearly see the offense is easier because golden state are worried about Ant finding his own shot. If they wasn’t we would be easy to guard
I really wish the wolves would run more late-game action like this rather than Ant isos. Sure he can hit tough shots but having all five players involved as threats will do wonders for our woeful clutch offense.
@@noahwelch2931 his ISO action would be better if they weren't aware he was going to get into it and throw doubles and triple-teams at him when he goes mid-range. thankfully he's getting better with playmaking and can toss it out when the crowd arrives
I’m just thankful an elite basketball mind can break down some of these portions of Wolves basketball. Pretty cool man. Hope your channel keeps growing.
The baseline cut and pick are crucial, but I think in general our team is really well positioned for more DHOs (which this also includes). Especially with our big-men involved because they're so big. I love this play though, no matter what, you get Edwards on the weak side with an entire half of the court to himself to operate if the ball finds him. What should be happening though, for Golden State, is Curry needs to switch to Reid, and Draymond to not contest the screen. This has a potential of opening up an entry pass to McDaniels, but if I'm GS, I'm willing to risk a baseline post-up from McDaniels with Green on defense.
