You possess a trait that is sorely lacking with a lot of people these days, a WORK ETHIC and willingness to work hard and learn, not sit on your backside and expect everything to be handed to you because you exist. Good For You. Best Wishes and Take Care.

My name is Tom, my wife’s name is Danette. I’ve been watching your videos for several months. My first Toyota was a 1989 4-Runner with the 3.0 V6. I never had any problems with it. I bought it with 125,000 miles on it. I was the third owner. I loved that truck. Then I wanted a new truck and bought me a 2003 Toyota Tacoma double cab. I bought it new in 2003. It had the 3.4 liter V6. I got married and bought a 2007 Toyota Tundra Crew Max. I still have it, it only has 107,000 miles on it. It is kept in the garage like all my other vehicles. I am a vehicle maintenance nut and like my cars and trucks to be clean. I live in Virginia. I knew you had to be a Christian. My wife and I are too. I know God will bless you because you listen to his word. Always be kind and helpful with love. I see your love for life and people. Always give God the praise and I see you do. Looking forward to more of your videos. God bless.

I'm originally from China, been here for 40+ years and consider myself an American, as this is the life I know. My very first Toyota was a 1989 Camry. It was not the best car with not great memories as I was ripped off by the dealership that sold the car to me. It was my first new car and I was really taken advantage of from the buying experience. I also had a 1997 4runner that really did make me happy to be a Toyota owner. I became a true Toyota fan after purchasing my first 2008 Prius in 2011. I was fascinated by the technology on that car. I went on to buy many more Prius cars and became somewhat of an expert with them. I'm a big contributor to the Priuschat forum, sharing my knowledge to help others who are in need of help with their Prius cars. It's a very rewarding feeling when you get to help someone. I now have upgraded to a Rav4 Hybrid, Honda S2000, Subaru BRZ, and a 2020 Toyota Supra. I will always be a true Toyota fan and this channel has helped me in understanding why Toyota is such a great company. From their great products, great support, and their great employees. Hats off to you sir for being such a great and helpful person in this community.

I'm from Texas. I've been driving for about 31 years. I found your channel earlier this year, and used your input to buy our first Toyota, coming from Hondas for the past 20 years. It was your videos on the Rav4 that convinced me. Congrats on your amazing story, and hope you continue to have success. Edit: Bought a 2019 RAV4 with 15k miles on it on May 6th this year. I told the wife, I'll be back later and drove off in her 2010 CRV. Finally got home around 7pm in our RAV4. She was surprised and pleased.

From Portugal. My 2nd car was my first Toyota, a brand new 2005 (E12 facelift) Corolla HB 5 Door 1.4 VVT-i. I had a crash at 120km/h on the highway (not my fault) and the car protected me, my sister and aunt. With 31000km and 1.5 years the repair was more then the car value. Got everyone around me to convert to TOYOTA and into HSD. Finally after 14 years I'm back with a 2017 Toyota Auris TS HSD (Corolla E18). My wife first own car is a 2008 Yaris HB 5 Door D4D (Diesel). Keeping it simple and being honest is the key, keep it strong ;-)

I just discovered your channel, and being a DIY Toyota fanatic, immediately subscribed. My family immigrated from North Vancouver, Canada when I was 2 years old. My first Toyota was a 1978 Corolla SR5 liftback (the features and quality of that car was a real eye-opener). My current fleet is a 2001 Corolla, 1999 Tacoma 4x4, 2006 Highlander, and 2014 Lexus ES350 (wife's car). Your story is a perfect example of USA being a land of opportunity (to work hard, succeed and contribute to our society). For too many, its an opportunity to take government assistance and be a drain on our society. Congratulations.

Amd, It is an honor to have immigrants like you in our country. Thank you for your efforts in getting your knowledge and technical expertise to the world. I live outside of the KC KS area and the first Toyota that I drove was a 1979 Celica GT hatchback that my father owned. (My father also owned a '82 Supra, '83 Celica GT and an early '80's Toyota stakebed truck). My first Toyota that I owned was a 1988 Corolla FX. Unfortunately, I sold that car and went astray for many years from Toyota. However, after driving a rental Camry on a long road trip a couple of years ago, I decided to rejoin the Toyota family by buying a 2019 Camry LE and have never looked back! In fact, my wife loves my car so much, that she is trading her Equinox for a '21 RAV4 XLE (that we currently have on order). May God continue to bless you and your family and many thanks again!

Howdy AMD. Loved your story. I too had a dream of becoming a mechanic.. I went to college for two years but found out it wasn't for me. I attended the Franklin Institute and got an assoc. degree in automotive technology. After graduating, I joined the Army. After my discharge, I was offered a job in physical and electronis security/ I stayed in the security field for the rest of my career. My first Toyota was a Rusted out 1973 Toyota Corona MKii station wagon. The Manual trans was good and the engine ran ok. It had 150k miles when I bought it and over 300k when I junked it. I presently own a Toyota RAV4 hybrid XSE and love it! I once owned a 1989 Chevy truck that I installed a double row timing chain and gears into and drive it 384k miles and sold it after that. I faithfully changed the Mobil 1 oil every 5k miles. My professors in school always preached that oil is cheaper yhan metal!!! God bless

Congratulations mate. I’m from Sydney Australia and have been working on cars with my father from 8 years old (now 50 yrs old). I started for the same reasons while getting quality time with dad. As a result dad returned the favour by handing over his run about. That was a Toyota Corona wagon which was my first car. I was in love. I drove it around the country and spent many nights even sleeping in it. I didn’t exactly treat it gently and neither did my brother who inherited it. My dad was a Ford man but my family knew deep down Japanese was the way to go. Love Toyota’s engineering and will always have at least one in the family. The 2GR-FE... they'll never know what hit them ;-) Drove it 235k miles and with the gas prices at astronomical prices here in the Bay Area, bought a used 2019 RAV4 Hybrid XSE (yes! 3 RAV4s in a row!)... and that's when I subscribed to this channel as I wanted learn to do some things to it on my own. I work at a Lexus dealership (in marketing), so I'm as much of a Toyota nut as you are. Fancy editing and effects isn't going to keep me here. I’m a little late to the game, but I’m from central Canada and my first Toyota was a Corolla. I bought my first Japanese car a few years before that (03 Civic) but mostly had American vehicles prior to that (a couple South Korean too.) I only used the civic around the yard and within a couple miles from home. I was super impressed with the build quality. Then I bought the wife a 2006 Corolla CE. She fell in love with it. So much that I sold my car and bought myself a 2010 Corolla XRS with a 5 speed. Beautiful car, but it had that one of very few engines Toyota made that was a flop (because of the piston rings.) That 2.4L also was super thirsty. I sold it an bought a 2014 Corolla S with the 1.8L and a six speed. Best car I’ve ever had!

People like you are the best of America... we are lucky to have you. Look at you now, just a few years later and you are hitting 1 million with your own shop! God bless you. EDIT: Not for the giveaway, but in case you're curious - I am from Arizona and first car was a '96 Camry. Loved it and started repairing it myself. Then later got a '90 Camry manual with only 20k miles on it (was stored forever unused, like a time capsule)! Now I have a '07 Camry. Next car coming soon (maybe a Lexus?)!

Congratulations for the award and happy you could share a bit about yourself! To be honest I never expected for you to not be an American as you speak so fluently 😁. Now i know the giveaway it's finished and you had so many comments and I don't expect you to read them all, but I still wanna introduce myself : my name is Ionut, i'm from Romania, working in oil industry around the world (all continents except Australia) and my first toyota is an Auris 2014 TS hybrid, bought last month.

Greetings AMD (and family) from the great state of Tennessee! Your story, and that of your family's immigration to America and finding it to be a gateway to personal success is truly inspiring! We hear so many complaints about this country from people who were blessed to be born here, that it just blesses us to our core to see others find this the land of Opportunity! You're running a great channel, and I expect it to just keep growing and predict you'll be at 1 Million subscribers by this time next year, if not sooner! But loving Toyota the way we do, I was just ecstatic at finding a Channel that specialized in all aspects of Toyota's (and an occasional Lexus!!) My family and I have owned 5 Toyotas over the years: '07 Camry (still owned by a family member), '08 Yaris (totaled in an accident by a (ugh) Ford F150), '07 Solara (traded for a Tundra), '13 Avalon, '14 Tundra! By far and away my favorite Toyota is the Tundra! First truck that I ever owned! But my wife just loves the styling and the ride of her Avalon. The Avalon and Tundra just keep performing so well and we have no inclination to trade them! We still like their appearance, and the ride quality seems to stay comparable to what we'd expect out of a new vehicle, so why trade? If we did acquire another vehicle I'm convinced that it's be another Toyota, because the styling and the ride has convinced us that they're the best car manufacturer in the world! BUT, my dream car is the Lexus LC500 convertible, which AMD has reviewed on the CCN channel! I don't expect to ever get one unless I win the Lottery (Ha!) But I was considering a '23 Tundra! But the prices seem to have sky rocketed (as on all cars) and I'm still unsure about the V-6 Turbo in the Tundra. And truly, I'd just hate letting go of the great 5.7 V-8 engine. As great as things have been for the CCN Channel, I predict that the best is yet to come!

Congratulations on your 100K subscribers! Camera equipment and video editing do not nearly matter as much as the wealth of knowledge to be gained from your years of hard work as a mechanic! I won’t be surprised if you reach 1 million subscribers in the next couple years. Keep doing what you do, keep listening to your wife, and may the Lord bless you and keep you too, brother. I’m here in California, and my first Toyota was a 2004 Camry LE. I put over 300,000 miles on it, relatively trouble-free. 😄

Congratulations AMD! This channel is a tribute to your generous spirit and your wife’s tenacity! We are privileged to be a part of it. I have lived my entire life in San Diego and have taken advantage of many opportunities to camp and off road in my Toyotas - from my 1981 4x4 pickup to my 2018 4Runner. I bought the 4Runner after watching your video on them last year and chatting with you briefly. Couldn’t be happier! Bless you AMD

After August of this year when my warranty ends that repair would have cost me $2050. 200k subs will be next for you my friend.

I loved hearing your story. You have the perfect woman to encourage you. I am glad you gave her the credit she deserves. Your work ethic and your intelligence helped you become the entrepreneur you have become. By specializing in the Toyota Brand you have increased your chances of growing because of the millions of people that own the their high quality products and like to work on their own cars even it it is only maintenance. Many of the things you talk about can apply to any other popular brands. It is all with the diagnostics. I expect that in the next few years that your business will grow exponentially. Keep up the great work!!!

You had enough influence on my Son and I, that we both bought new Toyota's. 21 Sienna and 21 Highlander hybrid. First Toyota, 91 Camry. From Minnesota. Just keep doing what you are doing, the blessing multiply and spread. Thank you and Congrats.

Well I finally made the decision to get a new Toyota RAV 4 , ordered online, have to wait 3-4 months. Aug-Sept. Already had 2 used Toyota’s. I’m not too sure what is included but I like the comfort pkg. Well you have the most truthful, honest show. God Bless.

I like your attitude so much. You’re my favorite you tuber. My first Toyota was a Tercel. It took me and my friends from home to Fort Dix NJ while we were at the NJ State Police Academy. The car was put through it’s paces every week and it was super reliable. I sold that car with 172k and that owner sold the car to the new owner with 250k on the odometer. Congrats! Discovered your channel end of 2022 and got completely hooked. Born in Cape Town, South Africa and also an auto technician, now retired. Emigrated to Canada and switched to buses toward the end. My 1st Toyota was a Landcruiser with a bad engine. Had many Corolla's, one brand new. Also modified and rally raced Corolla's. When the family moved to Canada our first Toyota was a 4 runner, followed by 2 more. Keep doing you! Lately my wife joins me when I watch and is surprisingly very impressed Abdul Hendricks.
