It's really hard to get a feel for just how fast they go and how loud they are until you go. Make sure to bring some ear protection because after a while it can get pretty brutal on your ears. I live about ten miles from Charlotte motor speedway and I can hear the cars going around the North end of the track in my backyard.
@@HONORTONUMERIC123 Yeah after the Kyle Larson incident in the same weekend of 2013, I think around 2015 that's when fans were not allowed to walk near the fence anymore.
@@daniel.b3940 u do it then, in the middle of 40 other cars, with yours constantly wanting to get out of control, and if you make a mistake, there goes your small opportunity to win the 3rd place and causing an accident
That's what I am talking abt?.... Nobody understands abt those racers.... How talented, energetic, accuracy, precision and many more they have and show while they race on those tracks...... Always respect and hats off to those racers.....
The day before the race seen in that clip, a car flew into the catchfence on the final lap in a different race. Debris flew into the stands. A whole wheel landed in one of the seats. Some fans were taken to the hospital. They have since upgraded the fence so that doesn't happen anymore.
