This was so sad. Blitz didn't expect Stolas to be serious, because he's not used to affection and serious feelings. Stolas is always afraid of not being enough, so Blitz' reaction hurt him so much. Stolas thought about this situation for so long and chose his words very carefully. Blitz was just confronted with the situation and had no time to properly think. Stolas was so busy avoiding looking directly at Blitz during the fight, that he missed his fear and his tears. They hurt each other soooo badly in this moment. They both made mistakes and still it's nobodys fault that this happened. They were just struggeling with communication...

Stolas acted like this because in the song at the start we saw a sequence where Stolas seemed desperate because he didnt have his anti depressants. Thats why he acted up like this the entire episode
I feel like a big reason for the difference in Stolas' and Blitzø' singing in the beginning is that Stolas is planning to change things; Blitzø very much is not. There are a few lines he has where it's obvious that he's nervous but is actively ignoring it. This is of course not helped by Loona's take later on XD Poor Blitzø. He is not in the right head space for Stolas' conversation. At. All.

The fact that blitz was like “i can do better” after he has the crystal, and then STILL chases stolas to get him to talk… or TRY to get him to talk… proves to stolas he cares, but all stolas heard was the hurtful words.
I can see that. Also, if Blitz didn’t immediately rush to act like Stolas was roleplaying and mock him then Stolas wouldn’t have cut it off. Like that was the wrong thing to say but to be fair, Stolas didn’t give him time to process and think. They both should have communicated better. Blitz lashed out. Stolas did the walk away.

This!!! Like i totally get Stolas thinking what he does based on Blitz’s reaction, but then when he says that, that should have been his hint that he didn’t mean it as ridicule. Everyone talks about how Blitz treats Stolas like shit (Which is entirely true, i’m not denying it), but nobody talks about how Stolas could have cleared up things multiple times up to now. In Ozzie’s after they arrive at Stolas’s house and Blitz gives his spiel about how all Stolas wants is to get fucked by him, Stolas literally goes “Ok Goodnight” like hello? it’s the same thing as here. Blitz sucks at conveying emotions but Stolas definitely doesn’t help the situation.
@@crissyjayfae Blitz when confronted with someone actually wanting him for real just cannot fathom that its true. He just dislikes himself so much - then Stolas walks away, and he panics and his bottled up issues just explode. There were so many ways it could have gone ok but heck did we ever get the worst outcome here. But thats the way it goes a lot of the time in real life to.

A lot of ppl give Blitzø a hard time here. He absolutely despises himself thinking he is literal poison for everyone around him. The idea that some like "demon prince" Stolas could have actual feelings for him could never cross his mind in his mental state. Stolas might not have done anything wrong here but he didn't do anything right either. He pulled the rug out from under Blitzø by starting the conversation with permanently taking the one thing from him that holds his constantly crumbling world together. Followed by dropping mother of all revelations on him that he has feelings for him and then when Blitzø trys to deflect within seconds decides for himself how Blitzø feels about him without giving him any time to reflect on what happened. No sh*t Blitzø's first reaction is anger and feels like his feelings are played with. Stolas in the back of his mind had already decided how this was going to go and at the first sight of it turning ugly tried to close himself off running away and pushing Blitzø away to protect himself from the "bad ending" he constantly feared. God i hope Octavia and Loona team up by the end of this season to set their Dads straight.
@Alucard5423 stolas did everythign right, if this was real life this is exactly how it should have been done. it's not any new revelation, blitz 100% knows srtolas has feelings for him, he just suppresses and ignores the notion. I don't care how broken of a person you are if you said that to me we would be done right then and there.
Blitz is the one in the wrong here, Stolas done everything right, he gave him a way out, he talked about his feelings, he told him he how he thought of him, Blitz however went on the offensive and didn’t consider Stolas’ feelings if he just say “let me think about it” because Stolas wouldve held on to that string of hope he wouldn’t have dismissed Blitz if Blitz KEPT dismissing his feelings
I may not agree with everything said but Stolas absolutely flopped at Blitz's role play reaction, all he had to say was "I'm being serious" but instead he assumed Blitz's desires and bailed giving Blitz no chance to actually decide.
Someone who gets it! Like no, Blitzø definitely isn't innocent here, but neither is Stolas. This confrontation, as necessary as it was, was probably doomed to fail anyways with where both characters are coming from right now, but it could've gone a lot better if both of them, but mainly Stolas had given each other more time to process and explain their side of the story. They are both at fault and both suffering for their messy relationship and it'd be oversimplifying and ignoring a lot of stuff to paint one of them as the "bad guy" and one of them as the victim
agreed. As someone who does not handle conflict or confrontation well and has anxiety... Stolas could have started that off better, but I get him running away as well... that's what I tend to do, shut down and run away. I personally think Stolas should have asked Blitzø to talk, started off light and then presented the crystal as a gift and explained that, let Blitzø process with the reassurance that his lifeline/meal ticket is still safe, and then, when Blitzø asks why the crystal, explain that he has feelings and that he wants Blitzø to choose. Even with that, I still think Blitzø would have panicked and lashed out. Words hurt, and what he said can never be fully taken back, but he was about to apologize when Stolas portalled him out front. The obligation was acting like a security blanket for him a tie that let him feel a little more secure in their relationship (healthy? HELL NO, but understandable.) Stolas was not in the wrong entirely, nor was Blitzø, I adore both these characters, and they both have growing to do. Blitzø needs to work on some prejudice issues as well as his trauma and self-esteem issues... also trust issues. Stolas is still pretty sheltered. As said, he's had his whole life dictated to him. He's in the middle of what is probably a very messy divorce with a woman who was verbally and emotionally abusive, at best. He has a teenage daughter to worry about, and I doubt he's familiar with what kind of life imps usually lead, the discrimination they deal with... that he has played into, even if he didn't realize it. Now is probably not the best time to try getting into a new relationship. Also, yes, Stolas was not in a good headspace either, running out of his antidepressants and already assuming rejection... honestly, they were both assuming that they were being rejected by the other and reacted accordingly. They need time to cool off, and then, maybe they'll be able to actually hear and understand what happened. Blitzø was overthinking and afraid both from his own trauma and from what Loona said in the office, and the pressure of keeping his company going. You can see in their faces and microreactions that they do care deeply. They both suck at healthy communication. Should Blizø have lashed out? No, but that's how he deals with overwhelm. Was Stolas wrong for kicking Blitzø out? Also, no, he had no reason to stay while getting yelled at. He's no longer required to take that kind of crap from his partner.
I watched it last night with my friend at her place and then we played Poppy Playtime, applied for jobs, finished our bio exam review, helped her with history homework, called my crush and ate a bunch of candy
I feel like people tend to be too harsh on Blitzø and not harsh enough on Stolas for how this episode played out, they both lashed out at each other, neither communicated properly, they both needed to calm down and talk like adults, but neither of them did, this is on BOTH of them
We're pretty sure that frame with Blitz standing protectively with Stolas will be against Andrealphus (Stella's brother), going off the ground matching the scene we see with Andre powering up, and it looks like there might be ice patches on the ground too. My guess is it'll be in Sinsmas
Unless you work at it, Everyone sucks absolute ass at communicating. Especially with as much trauma and baggage as these 2. That's what makes this show so god damn relatable and sad. lol

I watched the whole video (just commenting 'cause you asked) -- not sure if it's something you'd want to implement, but another YTer I follow (tattooist Celle? Chelle?) always posts an emoji-type image and asks for the "real ones" to leave it in their comments so she knows who watched the whole vid (or who cares enough to skip to the end to see the image): not sure if that's your style, but it provides feedback and perhaps helps boost engagement with more people leaving comments. (It also helps boost engagement by people who haven't yet watched the entire vid asking, "What's up with everyone commenting with pictures of XYZ?")
Stolas could have done so much better if he communicated to blitzø that he wants to have a heart to heart instead of just demanding the book and he gave blitzø no time at all to process😢, those two traumatized demon boys made the first painful step but they still need to get each others perspective
I feel mad at Blitz's and stolas's situation because for the fact these two characters didn't had time to discuss what the hell was going on but for me i'd have to say that blitz wasn't knowing what was going on while he thought that stolas was like actually in love with him. Turns out. He doesn't and it ends up as a heartbreak knowing he just uses him for fun. Blitz did not know this and i wouldn't know a persons mind momentarily in my opinion. For this i can say was this was a breakdown of a relationship that hasn't enunciated right.

For the first time, I think Stolas is the one heavily in the wrong. He is blind to his privilege. He's acknowledging how wrong their deal is, but he's still missing his privilege and the fact that just acknowledging that it was wrong doesn't immediately fix the power dynamic. He's royalty and he doesn't seem to understand what that means fully. Stolas messed up here, and he still is messing up imo
Well, I'm sick. I woke up sick this morning. So I'm not gonna be doing anything for the rest of the week. Or this weekend I'm proud to be throwing up because of the pool water. I wouldn't underwater too long and I accidentally swallowed water so and we went all week because my mom wanted us to go all week and let me tell you. I do not feel good and I feel like I'm about to throw up.
